[3.0] "Some matches of this show are included in The Best of Eastern Championship Wrestling DVD. First, we see Johnny Hot Body and Tony Snetson going to a double disqualification after they are counted out. The match starts with Hot Body stalling a lot and wasting time arguing with the crowd. Apparently this was considered the hottest feud in early 90's Philadelphia indie scene, or that's what commentary is talking about. They mostly brawl on the crowd and behind the bar counters, so there's part of the action that the hard camera couldn't follow. What we saw was average at best, two men brawling around and hitting each other with chairs. There's some decent moves here and there, but that was all. Next, the weird looking team of Kodiak Bear and The Canadian Wolfman defeat The Hell Riders after using a brass knuckle. The match wasn't the focus of the tape, as at the beginning Stetson and Hot Body came to the ring continuing their previous brawl. After they leave the match continues and we see just a few clotheslines and irish whips, as it wasn't good, just 4 big guys trying to beat each other. After the match the Hell Riders stand stall after beating the heels and their manager (a bad copy of The Wizard). Then, we see Ivan Koloff and Tommy Cairo fighting on a russian chain match. It's not my kind of match so I didn't really enjoy it. I guess it was a fine babyface performance by Cairo with his comebacks and big moves over Koloff. Both guys bleed a lot here, even if the quality of the wape was horrendous you could see their faces all red. In the fourth volume of the tape Jimmy Snuka takes on Don Muraco to try to recapture the ECW belt. Apparently Muraco had defeated Snuka and won the ECW title by putting his feet on the ropes near the corner to gain leverage and pin Snuka. Snuka had asked for a rematch and here it is. The match lasts almost six minutes and its just Muraco dominating with punches and throwing Snuka outside. Snuka had a comeback with some chops. But in the end Muraco wins again putting his feet on the ropes in the same way he won the title. Snuka is very angry and one of the members of the commentary team comes to the ring to talk to Snuka and try to make the referee change his decision. Commisioner Tod Gordon enters the ring and tells that guy to go back to the commentary desk. That guy tries to hit him with a chair, but Snuka stops him. And then suddenly Snuka beats the commisioner with two backbreakers and tries to hit the Superfly Splash, but he is stoped by other wresters. He beats four of them before leaving the ring."

"Stetson vs. Hotbody w/ Don E. Allen: 5 Chestnut Cabaret='s strip joint 22 blocks N of the Original Sports Bar. There’s an intimidating biker dude in the crowd, as is straw hat. After Johnny does his requisite jaw-jacking, Stetson out-wrestles Hotbody til Johnny takes the fight outside barside like a AAW event at Bourbon Street. Two ‘Cactus Jack’ elbows to the floor by JH. The action goes in and everywhere out-of-the-ring for a total of 15:47 before the double countout is called. 5 K Bear & C Wolfman vs Hellriders: 4 Oh my…”This match is being sponsored by the United Pork Institute…Remember pork, your heart can take it. ” Bob Smith and Stately Wayne Manor on-commentary. Oh my…Hotbody & Stetson are back, still fighting around the ring/bar as this other match cannot start until they leave. (Flair/Henning copied the angle a couple weeks later on Raw. ) A beat-up T Gordon is out. There are kids in the crowd that must be blown-away by the chaos. So finally the match - ‘The Crazy Commander’ blasts one of the Riders w/ a foreign object allowing the loony-named heels to win. Tommy Cairo vs. Ivan Koloff: Koloff’s awesome in that he still’s working hard, putting people over some thirty years into his career and looks great for his age/wear & tear. Wayne makes a funny, ‘…Ivan makes a full-time living as a Jack O’Lantern (cause he’s got few teeth. ’) Both men get bloody, especially TC, but tepid reaction for there's too much face shine t/out and indeed Tommy touches all four corners after 10 minutes. 4. 5 Jimmy Snuka vs. Don Muraco - Muraco goes Naito w/ the belt. Muraco captured this title w/ his feet on the ropes, so Snuka gets this rematch. A slow-paced slugfest w/out a climax as Muraco pins Snuka in 5:55 after placing his feet on the ropes, again, in the NW corner. Snuka’s very angry post-match “Something very bad is going to happen, ” -> RIP Nancy V. Instead he backbreaks Tod twice, rips his clothes off, and attacks ‘saving’ wrestlers like J Jannety. Crazy"
