[5.0] "Mostly very lack luster NOAH action, but two matches really stood out and displayed what wrestling is all about. I only wish the main event had some of that fire too. Jun Akiyama -vs- Naomichi Marufuji - (GHC Title) [** 1/4] I hardly felt this match at all. It just came across as random big-ish moves with very little standing out. And it did not feel like an important match even if it was for the Heavyweight crown. KENTA & Katsuyori Shibata -vs- Akira Taue & Go Shiosaki [***] No offense ment to KENTA or for that matter Go, they are great workers in their own way, but put in context in this match it was so obvious just how ordinary wrestlers they are when you see the incredible intensity Shibata can bring and how unbelievable original Taue is in his mannerisms. It's just amazing how much control he has over his audience and how visual he really is. Takeshi Morishima & Takeshi Rikio -vs- Yoshihiro Takayama & Takashi Sugiura [***] A lovely heavyweight fight. It was impossible not to notice the Michelin guy throwing his weight around. He's the new generation master of the butt-butt. The super move of the match was when Morishima did one off the top Doomsday Device style! How can one not love a man that does that? ! Oh, and Takayama was in there to doing his thing delivering stiff blows left and right while assisting Sugiura who was mainly in focus on his team trying to stay in there with the big boys."
