[6.0] "Top to bottom, Chapter 2 was a superior show to its predecessor and began to showcase more of the wrestlers who would go on to be such a pivotal part of the company's future. In the Andrews/Wild Boar match we'd seen some real in-ring quality, and set up the next BWC Scarlo Scholarship Title match with Cooper's post-match attack. Jimmy Havoc had been given his booking and was set to get another opportunity at Chapter 3 and the London Riots had been introduced. In the meantime, the ambiguity of El Ligero's character continued to be established, with a questionable win in the triple-threat match, and his interference in the main event, all of which meant that the paying punter had a number of reasons to look forward to the next show. While it's fair to say that Chapter 2: The March of Progress, saw the company still some way away from being the fully formed PROGRESS it would be at its height, this was a big step in the right direction."
[6.0] "Vergessenswerter Opener. Kein weiteres Wort dazu. Da geht was. Solides Match.
[6.0] "The second Progress show was much better than the first. Nothing great, but everything was solid. The crowd was raucous, but never detracted from the matches. In fact the crowd added a lot to these matches with their constant jokes and calls, and the wresters all played along with them. From that point of view this was one of the most pure fun wrestling shows I've ever seen. Stixx vs Lion Kid was a very good opener. Lion Kid looked like a geek but had some very impressive high-flying moves, while Stixx was a solid monster heel. Both played their respective heel and face roles well and had some nice exchanges. ***. Mandrews vs Hitchman was another good match. Hitchman was very vicious in everything he hit Mandrews with, and Mandrews countered with some great "f*cking flips". Sick package piledriver from Hitchman, just btw. Disappointing roll-up finish, but everything else was good. *** Allen vs Dar was MOTN. Dar continued being a top notch heel and played off the crowd extremely well. He also has a great flair to his offence, adding the illusion of extra energy to everything. Allen was good too, but totally overshadowed, though he did get some cool spots to himself. ***1/4. Garnell vs Havoc was mostly a comedy match. Havoc bumped well, at least. I disliked the constant 4th wall breaks. **1/2. The London Riots vs Velocity Vipers felt like an extended squash. Vipers bumped very well and Riots were good monsters. All 4 men got individual moments to shine. **3/4. Ligero vs Burridge vs Singh had some funny character work, but that comedy became too focussed. Still decent though. **1/2. Cruz vs Scurll a fine main event. I liked Cruz's methodical and dastardly tactics, even if he reached the comical side of things some times. Scurll had strong technique all around and was very entertaining as usual. He was an easy babyface to cheer since he survived so many of Cruz's attacks. His arrogance occasionally got the better of him. Disappointing interference finish. ***"
[3.0] "Second show of PROGRESS Wrestling and for me it was worse than last time. Lion Kid vs Stixx was a bad opener with (for me) uninteresting characters, *3/4. Andrews/Hitchman after the show the only thing that I remember about this match is chant Draco Malfoy for Andrews. Noam Dar continued with his natural heel run and got his first victory over featureless Darell Allen. Garnell vs Havoc was almost a comedy David vs Goliath match with stupid ending. London Riots vs Velocity Vipers was first interesting battle on this show. A funny styles clash, London Riots as raw power and Velocity Vipers as highflyers. Ospreay created some good spots and only thing that I will remember about Alex Esmail is the Justin Bieber chant, **1/2. Triple threat #1 contendorship was 11 minutes of funny spotfest, good way to prepare for main event, **3/4. Scurll/Cruz 2 out of 3 Falls - Match of the night, but it say anything. Party Marty was over as fuck and everybody wanted to see him as the new champ. The match started with Marty doing some cool moves, which wasn't sold, like Marty "broke" Nathan's fingers and after one minute Cruz choped Marty with that hand and sold nothing. Then Cruz started destroyed Marty with some hard moves and after that Scurll hit his comeback, which was completed by the Party's Over and Scurll scored the first fall. That fucking finisher had absolutely zero impact on Cruz' back for rest of the match. Before Cruz scored 2nd fall there was funny moments when people threw Scurll back to the ring for avoid the countout. At end of the match referee goes down and El Ligero ran in the match and superkicked Scurll. A good WTF moment. Cruz won the match cuz of his next challenger and Scurll was screwed for 2nd time in a fight for the championship, ***. Disappointing show, there is nothing to recommend. +1 for the crowd which was amazing."
[7.0] "Solid second show for Progresss. Not a blow-away show by any means, but a slight improvement from their first. None of the matches were bad and the main event delivered, and set up a unique story between Ligero and Cruz. I was also particularly impressed with Jimmy Havoc and The London Riots. Just looking at the names on the card tells me that this company is going places. Lastly, the fans are awesome, and add something special to these shows. Bring on Chapter 3!"
Noam Dar <3!
[6.0] "This was not a bad show overall. Boar vs Andrews was ok, and in my opinion Boar has the best package piledriver in wrestling, even better than Kevin Steen! Havoc vs Garnell was ok too. Scurll vs Cruz was match of the night, although I felt it was a little long it was a good match."
