[7.0] "Another very good show. The main event was a bit disappointing, but I really enjoyed everything else. The Blackjacks had a very good match that, while mostly a squash, was incredibly entertaining with the live crowd absolutely losing their minds. Senior also delivered a very solid promo. Taylor had a decent bout against Alexander, Idol did his usual reliable work, and Roberts had a nice showing against White. On top of that, Piper was once again excellent on commentary and in his promo, Slaughter was outstanding in front of the camera, and Ole stole the show for me - once again bitching about having to find a partner."
[7.0] "It was a great show. I really enjoyed it all what happened. It starts with Roddy Piper coming to commentary to talk about how he is going to win the "Who contributed the most to wrestling in 1981" prize and he stook around all the show doing commentary. It was fun to hear him talk about the babyfaces and how he is better than anyone. Then we move to the ring to see another Terry Taylor showcase match, this time defeating Ben Alexander. It was a fine effort, but I hate Taylor's finisher in that abdominal stretch into a pin. Next, Austin Idol defeats Mike Davis. It was a decent match and it's always fun to see Austin Idol playing heel. He wins with this version of the Figure Four Lock. The longest segment of the show involved Blackjack Mulligan and Blackjack Mulligan Jr. They are interviewed by Bob Caudle and the father talks about how he is going to let his son fight his own battles, even if he wants to intervene and protect his son. Then Jr. talks about how he have Slaughters money on hold until he gives him another chance for the Cobra Clutch Challenge, because on his last try he did scape, but didn't make the tape. After that, we see a tape of a tag team match where Father and son defeat Ricky Harris & Jim Nelson. I liked Blackjack Mulligan punches, brawling style and that claw as the finisher. Later, Ole Anderson asks for more time to get a new partner to defend the titles and Sgt. Slaughter cuts an intense promo about the challenge, that he is not going to hold back for Jr. and that he doens't him to take the challenge because he is going to hurt him. Then we see a good Jake Roberts match, where he shows his good selling and nice offense. And on the main event, Slaughter defeats Buddy Landell. I like Slaughter's knee strikes into a gutbuster and Landel's second win, but it wasn't enough, as Slaughter is able to roll him up for a win. After the bell rings, Slaughter locks the Cobra Clutch until Blackjack Mulligan Jr. makes the save and starts a small fight, forcing the Sgt. to runaway."
