| 4 | 21.05.2025 | Erdrick | 7.0 | On paper this was a solid card; in practice, there were some cuts that had to be made due to the building getting set on fire. The evacuation and subsequent ad-libbing that had to be done - a series of Sting videos that clearly meant to be spread out through the night were played all in one shot to kill time; Tenay, Borash, and West explained the situation from a back alley; interviews that would've been done on a set inside the building were done outside - were more interesting than the wrestling on the show and showed a great deal of professionalism in a difficult situation. Once the sound stage was cleared the audience returned in quick, orderly fashion and remained hot (so to speak) throughout the rest of the show, so kudos to them as well. The remainder of Hard Justice went without a hitch, save for the loss of a four way number one contenders tag team match between AMW, The Naturals, Bentley and Kazarian, and the Dogg Ass Gang. For all that TNA has gotten flak over the years, the ability to recover on this show after an emergency was a real testament to how good they could be. Moving on, Sabin and Shelley had a solid match. Abyss vs Runt was appropriately violent (though Don West called Runt's appearance Taxi-inspired - which was a sitcom - rather than Taxi Driver - which was a thriller about a sociopath), except at six minutes it probably lost time due to the evacuation and felt too short. Joe vs Rhino vs Brown was a hellacious brawl around the arena, one of the best uses of Brown and Rhino (prior to the match, Rhino at least partially ad-libbed an intense promo mentioning the fire and evacuation, proving why he's always been an underrated talent). In a backstage segment, Larry Zbyszko apparently dropped a reference to the 1982 movie My Favorite Year by calling referee Slick Johnson a "Jiminy Cricket pest bastard, " which bears mentioning. Kim vs Sirelda was kept short, appropriate for the latter's lack of skill, though she held up her end adequately. The X-DIvision match was a slight clash of styles, still decent. The tag title match wasn't quite up to expected standards, but the champions were great in their roles as usual. Jarrett vs Sting was, sadly, the only kind of main event TNA was putting on at the time: An overbooked mess that was worse than most of the other matches on the show. Even though it ended on a low note, this was probably TNA's most fascinating PPV, if only because of the circumstances beyond the company's control. |

| 16 | 09.11.2015 | colonel | 7.0 | Gar nicht mal so guter Opener. Das Publikum feiert EY, aber ich konnte einfach mit keinem seiner Gimmicks was anfangen. Am ehesten noch mit Team Canada. Shelley und Sabin haben danach ein ordentliches Match. Nichts weltbewegendes, aber soilde X-Division Action von zwei Veteranen dieser Division. Abyss squasht danach Brother Runt (den ich übrigens auch mal so gar nicht brauche). Der Spot als Abyss Brother Runt kopfvoran in die Reiszwecken tritt ist schon heftig. Der Three Way ist dann ein erstes Highlight des Abends. Ich hatte nicht viel erwartet, aber die drei schaffen es mich durchweg zu unterhalten. Auch das Finish ist glaubhaft und gut umgesetzt. Das Damen-Match ist in Ordnung, aber mehr kann man bei der völlig talentfreien Sirelda auch nicht erwarten. Das erste Titelmatch zeigt mal wieder das die X-Division damals auch ohne ihre drei größten Stars immer noch verdammt stark besetzt war und das Rückgrat der Liga darstellte. Lethal und Petey sind eher die Techniker und Senshi gibt wie immer den gnadenlosen Krieger. Schönes Abstauberfinish zum Schluß. Das Tag Team Match ist auch gut. Beide Teams sind gut eingespielt und haben auch eine gute Chemie miteinander. Wenn Styles und Daniels im Ring stehen kann eigentlich nichts schlechtes dabei herauskommen. Der Main Event ist dann mal wieder TNA Overbooking vom Feinsten. Hier wird nicht einmal, nicht zweimal, nein gefüllte dreihundert mal eingegriffen. Ref-Bumps dürfen auch nicht fehlen und es gibt als Krönung noch einen "überraschenden" Turn. Wrestling-Fan was willst du mehr? Kann man mögen, muss man aber nicht. Die Show war trotzdem sehenswert und konnte überwiegend gut unterhalten. |

OK, was haben wir? Ein brennendes Dach, cool, fackeln wir die Bude ab und gehen nach Hause. Sabin vs Shelly ist meilenweit davon entfernt was zu bedeuten, weil sich beide auch nicht drum scheren, ich kann es ihnen nicht mal verübeln. Brother Spike vs Abyss ist für das was es ist gut, aber auch hier gibts nix neues und Refbumps schon in der Undercard sind einfach nur der Beweis für Inkompetenz (* 1/2). Der Three Way direkt nach dem anderen ECW Memorial Brawl ist schlecht plaziert, kommt aber als bestes Match rüber (* * 1/2). Vergessen wir die Frauen schnell (DUD) Mist, nicht geklappt. Das X-Devision Match lößt in den Fans wieder die Lust auf einen "This is awesome" Chant aus, der wieder mal total deplaziert ist. Von Awesomeness sind die drei hier leider weit, weit entfernt (* * 1/4). Ha, noch mal gutes Wrestling: LAX vs XXX, oder wie auch immer die grad heißen. Schöne coole Highspots und solides Wrestling und alle vier scheinen interessiert zu sein zu arbeiten (* * 1/2). Wer hätte den gedacht, dass Cage gegen Sting turnen würde? Ach? Alle???? (* 1/4) |

Besonders interessant gestalteten sich auch die Fanreaktion auf das Feuer zu Beginn der Show: Die köstlichen Fangesänge gaben der sonst eher farblosen Ansetzung Devine vs. Young deutlich mehr... Feuer. :P |
