[1.0] "So I finnaly gave this show a watch and I'm blown away at how bad this is considering the decent amount of star power. So many baffling decisions took place on this show I don't even know where to begin. One of the saddest shows I've watched"
[2.0] "How can you hate a card that has six title changes on an 11 match card along with the classic commentary line of 'This is the UWF, spelled U W F'. Oh wait. This was an awful show but not the worst of all time. Some of the Saudi shows and the Heroes of Wrestling was much worse. The small persons match was good and the main event was at least competent. The commentary was so bad and full of hyperbole it became entertaining. A coked up Herb Abrams also makes regular appearances."
[0.0] "This might actually be worse than the infamous Heroes Of Wrestling, as that was at least unintentionally funny on occasion. This is just sad, with no redeeming features. As just one example, putting Mick Foley in a lumberjack match, and having a double DQ when they brawl outside - a total misunderstanding of what makes him great. This isn't even so bad it's good, it's not worth watching."
[0.0] "Ace gegen Spivey beginnt zumindest noch ertragbar. Das ist in keiner Weise gut sondern wirkt halt so wie lustloses Rumgewrestle aber ist immer noch klar das MOTN. Aber es wird durch das Finish runtergezogen und läutet wirklich diese Horde an schlechten Finishes ein. Entweder kommt das Finish völlig aus dem Nichts und mit irgendwelchen komischen Eingriffen ( Missy Hyatt muss ich ja auch unbedingt mehr als einmal im Zentrum stehen) wie bei den beiden Matches danach oder es gibt halt eine Double DQ wie beim Southern States Title Match. Aber dieses Cringefestival geht immer weiter. Ein Midgetmatch inklusive Little Tokyo, bei dem der Gegner doch ernsthaft Karate Kid heißt. Wrestlerisch müssen wir darüber natürlich genauso wenig reden, wie über beide Matches danach, naja außer vielleicht über Samson gegen den Irish Assassin, da es schon erstaunlich wie man so überhaupt gar nichts aus vier einhalb Minuten machen kann. Das Women's Match hätte mit jemandem wie Tina Moretti vielleicht sogar Potential gehabt, bekommt aber zu wenig Zeit, ist zu dominant für Devine gebooked und hat dann auch wieder ein komisches Finish. Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt hätte man ja noch sagen können: Ja die Under und Midcard sah ja schon auf dem Papier nicht so gut aus und jetzt kommen die bekannten Namen und jetzt geht die Qualität nach oben. Von wegen. Die Killer Bees sind eigentlich nicht schlecht aber enttäuschen hier wirklich, wobei auch die Frage ist, ob gegen solche Gegner vielleicht einfach nichts möglich war. Auch Cactus Jack und Jimmy Snuka zeigen das jeweils schlechteste Match, dass ich von ihnen gesehen habe, wobei sich bei völligem unstrukturierten Chaosbooking und dem nächsten verpatzten Finish die Frage stellt, inwieweit es ihre Schuld ist. Das ME ist dann nochmal ein großes Nichts zum Abschluss das - natürlich - in DQ endet. Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen: Das war so historisch miserabel, dass ich nicht mal einen Punkt geben kann. Das war Heroes of Wrestling schlecht und daher 0 Punkte wert."
[1.0] "Several years after their only attempt at a PPV event (Beach Brawl), the UWF tried for another supercard in 1994 with Blackjack Brawl, in which they packed all of 600 fans into the MGM Grand. The matches that weren't sub-par were severely rushed; there was a plethora of new, random titles being decided with no build or reason; a good percentage of the matches including the main ended on DQs or countouts, with interference in even more (Abrams was handling booking himself by this point, and it showed). It's really amazing that this company lasted as long as it did, but by this point you could see they were on their way out. While several Blackjack Brawl events were promised, this would turn out to be the last UWF event - despite attempts to salvage the company, Herb Abrams died in 1996, and the company with him, before any further events could get off the ground."
