[4.0] "In 2012, Elimination Chamber is still a safe bet as an above-average PPV. At the very least. However, a few decisions make this event a show that's pushing the limits of watchability. First, there's the lack of main eventers, which turns what should be surefire match highlights, namely the Chamber matches themselves, into a hodgepodge of mediocrity. Due to the protagonists' lack of class, there's hardly any tension and little quality. Reason number two also contributes to the lack of tension, because as the last PPV before Mania, title changes here are only to be expected to a limited extent. For me, EC clearly belongs in the second half of the year, as the Chamber match format leaves little room for non-title matches. And thirdly, everything is booked very conventionally today. The opener manages to convince me somewhat, even the mediocre quality of the Divas match slightly exceeds my expectations. Despite the great reactions for Santino, one must unfortunately conclude that the second Chamber match is probably the worst of all so far, not just here and now, but up to 2012 in general. And everything that follows is below average: the US Title is defended at WWE Superstars level, and the Ambulance Match, coming a month before Cena/Rock, lacks tension and is otherwise simply boring to the point of tedium. D+ in total cause of the first two matches and the fact that nothing here is a complete stinker. But also nothing more than that."

[4.0] "Cena Vs Kane ambulance match and both elimination chamber matches were real good, but Phoenix Vs Snuka and Swagger Vs Gabriel were both bad and the booking was ever so predictable. Overall WWE Elimination Chamber (2012) is a pretty weak show."

[5.0] "A good, but not great show. It's truly insulting that they decided to give the main event to Cena and Kane who had a cringe-worthy feud that was made simply to get Cena to Wrestlemania. He needed something to do, so he got a two month feud with Kane. So Cena gets a main event with a throw away angle instead of one of your new, young world champions that you should be trying to build and hype up. The matches are all pretty decent, but there's nothing that will blow you away here. The first Chamber match starts great but gets killed by overbooking, and the second one starts terribly, but builds into a fantastic climax. There's definitely fun to be had when watching this show, but nothing here is a must watch either."

[5.0] "Pros: - Elimination Chamber match for WWE Championship (match of the night and had to be the main event instead of John Cena burying his opponent once again); - Elimination Chamber match for World Heavyweight Championship; Cons: - match between Beth Phoenix and Tamina Snuka should had lasted a bit longer; - match between Jack Swagger and Justin Gabriel was very short; - John Cena buried Kane; In conclusion, Elimination Chamber 2012 was a mediocre show with improper value standards."
