[5.0] "Masada/Ryan was fast, raw and original in a cool visual way that made it stand out and perfectly opened the second night of the tournament. Numazawa/Havoc was rather slow, average and unmemorable. Miyamoto/Ryuji was the definition of garbage wrestling and really had nothing going for it. The midcard tag team match was pleasant and cleanly wrestled in a traditional structure that felt really effective, building up to a satisfying finish. The 4-Way Match was overloaded with great North American talent, they worked a rich and impressive match at an ever accelerating pace and ended up with a fantastic finishing stretch, giving it a feel-good ending and making it the best wrestling match of the entire weekend. Kankuro/Jimmy felt limited by injuries and inexperience, making it a rather mundane hardcore match that feels like obvious filler. Walter/Sasaki had the merit of going full-tilt from the start, alternating between frantic strikes exchanges and rather vivacious matwork, building up the suspense and making for a much more interesting match than anticipated, surpassing Walter/Callihan by a substantial margin. The Finals of the tournament was rather mundane deathmatch, nothing special to it really and much more noise with shiny weapons than a substantial battle. The tournament disappointed a lot and made for an underwhelming night, but the opener, the 4-Way Match and Walter/Sasaki all delivered handsomely, making sure there is at least average value in giving this show a try."
