[4.0] "The non-tournament matches had more to offer than the actual BOSJ bouts which is a bit sad. While the arena was pretty full, the feeling in the arena wasn't of the positive kind making it a dull show to watch. Minoru & Jado & Hirooki Goto -vs- Jushin Liger & Sangre Azteca & Fuego [** 1/4] Almost a full on CTU and affiliates match, but in reality just a leftovers match with the guys that didn't have a tournament match that day. Fun match with Fuego getting the hang of the Japanese environment doing some easy fun flying action. Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii -vs- Yuji Nagata & Naofumi Yamamoto [** 1/2] An enjoyable bout with the team of Yano & Ishii continuing improving their teamwork running over Yamamoto with ease. A little cheating of course. Nagata brought the hard kicks, but it wasn't long before Yamamoto was back and getting beat up per usual. While majority of the match was solid, the finish was just plain out flat with no fanfare. Best tournament match was Tiger Mask -vs- Koji Kanemoto - (Best of the Super Jr. - Block B) [**] They copied a lot from their IWGP Junior heavyweight Title match from May 3 with Kanemoto targeting Tiger's knee and working on that most of the match. Not that this was anyway near that match in quality, but this had it's moments like with both doing a big top rope move with Tiger's double-arm suplex and Koji doing a powerslam off of there."
