[9.0] "One of the most important episodes on the road to WrestleMania with two major moments, including the new tag team champions, The Hart Foundation, beating the British Bulldogs that had to drop the titles due to a injury on Dynamite Kid some weeks prior. The other was the definitive reunion between Bobby Heenan and Andre The Giant, who formerly challenged Hulk Hogan for their match at WrestleMania, thus concluding his heel turn that had been building up for some weeks at this point. Their segment on Piper's Pit was just fantastic."

[7.0] "Definitely one of the greatest episodes of Superstars of Wrestling. The major talking point from this show was Andre the Giant aligning himself with Bobby Heenan, challenging Hulk Hogan for the title at WrestleMania 3, and ripping Hulk's crucifix off of his chest. The other noteworthy moment was the Hart Foundation winning the tag titles via the crooked referee, Danny Davis."

[9.0] "Probably the best episode of Superstars of Wrestling I've personally seen. We have two HUGE highlights this week, the first being the tag title change between the Bulldogs and the Harts, which I thought was an excellent angle given the situation they were in -- great stuff & extremely well-booked. Then, we have the incredible Piper's Pit segment featuring Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant. A worthwhile payoff if you've been following the TV up to this point. Questions surrounding Andre's suspension have finally been answered, revealing that he was with Bobby Heenan all this time. Hogan's acting in this one was actually superb, as he sold the shock phenomenally, and him kneeling down with that frowning face of his really put this one over the top. One of the very best angles of the '80s, undoubtedly. In other news, Outback Jack finally debuted after a month-long series of vignettes... in a not-so-exciting fashion. The KBs and Hercules had decent showings, and we have some good WM hype. But really, though, even if the rest of the show stank, I would still recommend it anyway due to how special those two segments were."

[7.0] "The Hart Foundation win their first tag team titles with help from Danny Davis in this classic episode of Superstars. Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant have a discussion and Andre surprises Hogan with Bobby Heenan as his new manager before challenging him to a match at Wrestlemania and ripping off his Hulk-A-Mania T-shirt. Outback Jack debuts, only to fizzle out after so much buildup."
