[7.0] "This was a very decent episode of Thunder, with the buildup to World War 3 and dedicating a small portion of the show to a recap from Nitro earlier in the week, where Hulk Hogan announced his candidacy for President of the United States. The in-ring action was just great all-around, especially Mysterio/Guerrera being the MOTN. And also, Tony Schiavone repeatedly yelling at Bobby Heenan to shut up was so hilarious."

"This is basically the most boring WCW Thunder in 1998. The Ray Mysterio Jr. vs. Juventud Guerrera, felt more like a 1996 Steven Reagal Match but not a Cruiser Weight Match. Kidman vs. Chavo was way better. At this point I don't understand, what WCW is doing the Booking is all over the place."

[7.0] "Pretty good Thunder with some bad notes. A C show feud spills into the B show with Glacier and Chris Adams. The match isn't very good but that kick from Ernest Miller was brutal. Kenny Kaos lost his tag belt to Judy Bagwell the poor guy. Stevie Ray taking on huge jobber Jerry Flynn in a okay match. The show picks up from there and becomes more fun. Chavo is actually over and the LWO is more fun then the other factions."

[7.0] "How sad is it that an episode of the WCW B-show, with pretty much nothing in the way of storyline progression and just a bunch of matches one after the other is more entertaining than the A-show? Sure, we start off with Glacier being back (for some reason, considering he NEVER got over), but we get two of the best TV matches in WCW for a good while now with Rey and Juvie going the distance before Kidman and Chavo battle it out. Even if the second match ends in interference, it was still a great watch. Malenko and Kanyon have a decent go at it too, but they don't really match up too well IMO. WCW still managed to shoehorn in some nWo Hollywood v nWo Wolfpac action as the main event though."

[7.0] "Good Thunder overall, I really enjoyed Mysterio vs. Juvi and Kidman vs. Chavo was very good as well. The rest of the matches are basically fine for what they are, pretty much what you would expect."
