| 18.06.2023 | Wrestling Forever | 8.0 | Day 1 ist insgesamt schon richtig stark. Ich erwähne das Positive ein guter Opener (***). Alex vs Sonjay (***1/4). King Of The Death Matches 2003 First Round Fans Bring The Weapons Match mehr im Guide, wie das Main Event. Darum 8 starke Punkte. |

| 01.12.2020 | Sick Boy | 9.0 | IWA MS liefert hier eine großartige Show, was nicht ausschließlich an den verrückten Deathmatches liegt, sondern auch an der sehr guten Non-Tournament-Action die hier geboten wird. |

| 10.02.2019 | er92 | 9.0 | Great start to a jam packed tournament. Awesome line-up, including some lesser seen names such as Horace The Psychopath. MOTN is Hero/Homicide closely followed by Necro/Klein. Hailey/Mickie is also a great opener with a nuts powerbomb on a chair and Rollin' Hard/Page is memorable for Rollin' Hard's setting his fist on fire spot. |

| 01.04.2017 | IsThisWrestling | 8.0 | 1. Lynn/Jacobs: *** ¼ (Jerry Lynn is one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. So is Jimmy Jacobs. Really good match) 2. Knuckles/Hatred: ½ * (Shitty match besides some stiff strikes and heart showed by Mickie. Hailey was very awkward at this point and nearly ends Mickie's new career with a spot that she had no place attempting as a relative newcomer in wrestling) 3. Pondo/Webb: ** ¾ (Really good match, unnecessarily recreates Nate's dive from the year before, and has a wacky finish Still entertaining) 4. Page/Rollin’: ** ½ (Way better than expected, still had a wacky finish) 5. Balls/Horace: *** (Surprised the shit out of me. Balls actually went "balls out" in this death match. Horace is great. Except at promos. ) 6. JC/Tony: *** ½ (Death match match of the night. Two very innovative wrestlers having a great match) 7. Shelley/Sonjay: ** ¾ (Solid match with a good angle to set up a match on Night 2) 8. Axl/Corp: ** (HORRIBLE finish to a shockingly good match. Axl's best KOTD match to this point) 9. Gage/Dysfunction: *** (Really good match. Dysfunction takes some gruesome damage) 10. Necro/Toby: *** ½ (Classic match. Short, sweet, and to the point. Necro gets a horrific arm wound as well. ) 11. Ian/Messiah: ** 3/4 (Crazy concept for a match, with an ending that only makes sense due to the finish of Corp/Ax) 12. Hero/Homicide: **** ½ (MUST SEE. Nuff said. ) Overall, the best KOTD show yet. Nonstop awesome matches. |
| 02.11.2016 | Reptilian | 8.0 | Good show. The card was packaged & booked OK. It offered 4 nice non-tournament matches with Hero-Homicide being just amazing, Lynn vs Jacobs was good opener that could have been higher on the card with more time given to it. Knuckles vs Hailey Hatred had a few stiff hits and a SICK chair bump/botch and Dutt vs Shelley was good as they can always work a nice match together. The tournament matches it self went from ok & decently entertaining to some weaker ones. The old IWA-MS venue, the building they used was trashy looking (and the ring was just disgusting)giving the event somewhat unprofessional vibe, but atleast the crowd was close and intimate. Balls vs Horace, JC Bailey vs 2 Tuff Tony, Nick Gage vs Dysfunction and Necro Butcher vs. Toby Klein where the best death matches of the night. Axl Rotten vs Corporal Robinson was only entertaining during few spots. Pondo vs Nate Webb took forever to start because of the entrances and when it did it was filled with botches and just all around bad planning. The main spot of the match with two tables stacked and ring crew helping to lift the table where Pondo was laying felt really sloppy and it was bad psychology. (even though it might have been part of the match stipulation). Mitch Page vs Rollin' Hard was the hackiest match of the night and the worst Taipei Deathmatch match i`ve seen, 10+ mins of two out of shape guys walking around, bleeding and taking turns to staple and rub each others foreheads. Why would they do the dipping the fists with superglue to glass -routine just before the match in hurry and cause half of the glass shards to fall of before the match starts, when they could have done the right looking gimmicks carefully in the back? (Not that they utilized the gimmick of the match anyways) Ian Rotten vs Messiah The stipulation was interesting and it relayed heavily on the spots with tacks. (which ended up not being good) However it was boring and dragged on. |
