[7.0] "Really well booked affair, all the matches in all the right spots and no momentum was ever really slowed down. Even the arm wrestling match with the James Gang and Konnan was funny as they sold geriatric "Bullett" Bob as being some kind of ringer at arm wresting with Konnan just hamming it up during his loss. The other match break segments had Larry Zybysko running around and everyone is just bullying him (apparently he fired Raven before this PPV) when near the end Mike Tenay is handed a note that announces that Larry as been suspended, Larry comes storming out and yells on mic "HAND ME A MIC! " which just had me going. The first 2 matches are exactly the matches you'd expect from the billing, hey this Alex Shelley guy is pretty good in tag action isn't he? Shen Ki vs Daniels is exactly what it should be. The Xscape stipulation was clunky but had a quick and satisfying ending with a great comedy spot from Coach D'Amore, Oh Canada indeed. Of course Shark Boy ate the first pin after a Canadian Destroyer why did you even ask. Sabu tried to cram a whole Sabu match into 6 minutes, that means all the botches, blood, wacky weapons shenanigans, that chair spot he likes to do where he sets it up and then jumps off it, and botches of a usual Sabu match all in 6 minutes. Joe was just out there doing a normal Joe squash match but Sabu had to Sabu it up- no hate on the homicidal suic- you know the saying man from Bombay , Michigan but it was just a class of styles and Sabu is more suited for a longer match where he can let the botches have time to breath. 3D and Canada in a ridiculous stipulation with an out of league "Runt" Dudley if it lasted any longer it risked ruining the momentum. Abyss may be the best monster of his era, and how charismatic is this Christian fella - both gave a top performance with an Unprettier to Abyss on a second bag of tacks (thanks James Mitchell) winning spot of the night. Three future Hall of Fame wrestlers north of 40 walk into a cage with Three of the best performers in the promotion and one half of the future Beer Money Inc (no the other one) also Chris Harris is there - you got a 50/50 shot at guessing who took the job in this one. AJ Styles is pretty good aint he. (7)"

[8.0] "Possibly the best show TNA ever put on. None of the matches reached the highs that some of the classics like Styles/Daniels/Samoa Joe did, but every single one was rock-solid with no lows. The only problem with this show was - totally unsurprisingly - Konnan vs Bob Armstrong in an arm wrestling contest, the toxic spoor of 3 Live Kru still polluting everything long after the stable had broken up; luckily, the segment was brief, though an actual match from LAX would've been a better choice. The X-Division was on fire at this point, with all four matches being entertaining in their own ways. The Flag/Anthem match was better than expected for what it was, Christian Cage and Abyss had an excellent world title match, and Lethal Lockdown delivered better than most matches of its type ever did."

[9.0] "TNA LOCKDOWN 2006 PPV was pretty amazing event. The stipulation that every single match will be inside the 6 sides of steel made the pretty great! 1. Team Japan vs. team USA match was really good. The Japanese wrestlers showed what they got with amazing highflying moves as well team USA of Shelly, Sabin and Dutt - 3 amazing former X division wrestlers. Recommended match! 5 out of 5 2. Senshi vs. Daniels match was a good match between them. Former Triple X members faced each other when Senshi (known best as Low Ki) made his return to TNA to face Daniels. The match was pretty good. Score: 4\5 3. The X division match between Samoa Joe that was the X division champion at this time and Sabu was really short match and was boring to me. Sabu brought the hardcore to the ring with the chairs and used it on the match to jump on Samoa Joe ECW STYLE and tried to end Joe unstoppable streak. Score: 2\5. 4. Team 3D (with Brother Runt) vs. Team Canada in a 6 man Texas tornado anthem match - that match was very entertaining and it was great way to continue their feud. The winner had to take their county flag from the opponent corner. Score: 4\5 5. Christian Cage vs. Abyss match for the NWA world heavyweight championship. That match actually wasn't the main event of the evening... 5 star classic match between the brutally Abyss and the instant classic Christian Cage (C). Abyss brought his brutally and his "big man" style and Cage brought his awesome technique wrestling style to the 6 sides of cage. That worked awesome with some insane over the cage moments... Great match to continue the NWA championship feud between them. Score: 5\5. 6. 8 MAN TAG TEAM LETHAL LOCKDOWN MATCH - the main event of the evening That match was great between Sting team and Jarrett team. That was a great way to continue the feud between Jeff Jarrett and Sting. On this match a new member from any team enter the 6 sides of steel every 2 minutes. That was a great match with many brutally"
