[3.0] "Im only watching this and the last episodes of Smackdown and NXT in 2010 in preparation for a future save Ill have in TEW IX with WWE in 2011. Ive always wanted to rebook that year because I really believe that it couldve been a hugely pivotal year like 2022 has been with Vinces departure. Sure we had the summer of Punk. But lets be honest, do you remember anything else from that year? The product itself was stale, corporate, and overly family friendly. The roster had some decent talent but they really couldve benefited from signing different people. Anyways, this was such a terrible show. I wake up every day thanking the lord that we have Triple H at the helm now because what the actual fuck was this? Its even worse than I remember. You start off the show with an insufferable babyface (allegedly) John Cena cracking the unfunniest most dated jokes you could imagine. You find yourself fully agreeing with Punk when youre not supposed to. And they genuinely want you to think that Johns a good guy when hes done some despicable stuff in this year. After that, you get a really short match with Dibiase and Marella that had a post match gag from Marella that really wasnt fucking funny man. Pure cringe on display. I always liked the dynamic between Miz and Riley. I dont think anyone expected Riley to be a main eventer but he honestly wasnt that bad. Also, I would much rather have 2010 Miz on my screen over 2010 John Cena. At least Miz can deliver good, compelling character work. His facials and his performance are just on point for this chicken-shit heel. Was kinda nostalgic seeing Morrison again too. The backstage angle after this featured Tyson Kidd and his bodyguard: the iconic Jackson Andrews. Hes that guy from that on- ok WHO THE FUCK IS JACKSON ANDREWS? ! ? ! I would say that I have a decent amount of knowledge of the WWE. This is someone Ive never come across before. I knew about Bam Neely before I knew this guy. Anyways, he has negative aura and charisma. Alongside having no wrestling ability to boot. How about that? Miz vs Lawler actually told a good story. Lawler still had it in him at this time. The womens tag team match? The women werent respected so why would anyone in the back care enough to give them a good match? The biggest crime of this show was the Bryan vs Ryder match. The commercial break played during most of the match and we literally only got the last minute (insert Green Day joke here). Talk about disrespect to these two very talented performers who are still at the top of their game 14 years later. If theres any sound that could give you instant PTSD, its when the anonymous Raw GM has something to say. Thats all that will be mentioned about that. Miz attack on Lawler was legit brutal and I actually found it kinda cool. Miz really knows how to play a good heel man. Sheamus vs Randy was match of the night. Just a good standard traditional wrestling match. Then we had the best angle of the night. The Nexus beat down Cena (who absolutely deserves it) and its revealed that Punk is the new leader of the Nexus. Super cool visual to end the show on. This is really the part that excites me with my future save. Punks Nexus had so much potential that they squandered. Im hoping I could make it cool. Or better at the very least lol."

[3.0] "A pretty poor show to end the year, with the destruction of the original Nexus complete with the formation of the "New Nexus", with Barrett exiled from the group. Outside of the last match and opening promo there was nothing good on this show, and Bryan and Ryder got the ultimate disrespect with their match starting already in progress and served as a backdrop to more Miz/Lawler stuff."

[5.0] "John Morrison vs Alex Riley: Basic match but it did the job it was supposed to. Morrison gets a win he's supposed to and Riley loses a match he's supposed to. Nothing special about it but nothing but about it either. The Miz vs Jerry Lawler: This was exactly what it was supposed to be. Miz beat the heck out of Lawler. Lawler stayed in this just long enough to survive, and Morrison is in Miz's head for the title match next week. The quality wasn't great of course but it wasn't supposed to be. This what it was supposed to be: furthering of the Miz vs Morrison rivalry. Eve Torres/Gail Kim vs Alicia Fox/Melina: That match happened to put Melina over a bit. Too short. Sheamus vs Randy Orton: Dull match throughout but the ending was sweet."
