[6.0] "The tournament itself was pretty weak. WxW really didn't have much too tier deathmatch talent (not including Jimmy Havoc). They couldn't even make it a 4v4 tournament. Many of the tournament matches were weak excluding Masada vs. Drake and Masada vs. Gage. Many of the non tournament matches (Walter vs. 2Face, Callihan vs. Carnage, the 8 man tag) were great. I'd rather watch the non tournament stuff then the actual tournament that the show is built on."

[5.0] "Havoc/Ryan was a decent opener that probably went too long, but I applaud the execution of the finisher that looked very devastating. Drake/Hyde felt big, but they frankly went too long and the match wasn't nearly as extreme as the commentary tried to portray (which is one of the most grating in years). Jimmy/Masada was much much too long but showed Masada's dominance. Polak/Gage never got out of first gear and was very tame, but it perfectly served the purpose of getting the championship belt belt into the CZW roster. Moxley/Moore gave an authentic CZW World Title match to the german crowd, even if the action was bland and the result self-evident. Drake/Masada was better than their first round, but still very confined and safe, with nothing to get excited for until the finish, cliche but always impressive. Gage/Ryan took forever to get started, had a weak stipulation and showed that wXw had little real impact on the booking and this would be a CZW tournament first. WALTER/2Face was basically a squash that took a long time to make its point. The 8-Men Tag Match was incredibly fun and pleasantly light. Plus, the talents and wrestling quality was quite high. Callihan/Carnage managed a small miracle to distinguish itself, which was to channel intensity and hatred while staying completely away from the hardcore action, using crisp attacks to craft an amazing battle and an awesome ending without stealing the tournament's thunder. They kept the best for last, as the Finals saw the two most ruthless competitors meet in the most impressive stipulation to finish everything off. There is a lot of stiff shots indeed, interspersed with lots of meandering, but the ending being a simple roll-up flies in the face of the whole concept. The show has good moments, as the tag match is fun beyond belief and shows the incredible atmosphere that the german fans create, but the tournament itself is a weak parody of the real deal and doesn't distinguish itself from a regular hardcore show."
