[8.0] "The Mega Powers explode. How could I not rate this high? It's a really fun storyline that's perfectly executed in the opening match. Macho Man has probably one of the most justifiable heel turns in wrestling history. Him going crazy backstage and attacking Hogan backstage was great and then after the second match, Hogan going insane on everyone and throwing things about backstage is wonderfully entertaining. The tag team match is pretty good and an all-timer in terms of storytelling. DiBiase v Hercules was okay, but really shouldn't have been booked after that first match."
[8.0] "This should get a high score for just how important the show really was at least its first match and its whole things. Felt like a "Point changing" to the company, just great wrestling overall.. I'd say that's some of the peak of the Golden-era, just good stuff genuinely, the main event was fine/ decent; you shouldn't expect more after the first match though."
[7.0] "I enjoyed the hell out of the this show, not so much for the matches but for the storyline between Hogan and Savage. I think they did a great work on the way they turned Randy heel, after the match when both of them went to where Elizabeth was Randy went crazy on Hogan and i loved it. He even attacked Brutus and i loved when Hogan started looking for Randy he went crazy on everyone he saw. They set the WrestleMania V main event very nicely here. The matches were okay nothing crazy, two regular Golden Era matches i guess."
[8.0] "Excellent event, which set up Wrestlemania V and Hogan Vs. Savage nicely. The tag match is legendary, not for the in-ring work, but for the angle that happened during and after the match. Hercules and DiBiase was just a match that happened in spite of everything else going on."
[6.0] "This is a good show, not for the matches we got, but for the huge angle that played out here, as this is the show that Macho Man turned on hulk Hogan and the Mega Powers exploded. The Mega Powers versus Twin Towers match isn't that good in itself, though I did enjoy the Hercules versus Ted Dibiase match. Randy was awesome on this show, and looking back kinda justified; it's funny how many feuds back in the day that if you really think about it Hulk was kinda the bad guy. Akeem was the shits here. Solid show overall; big for historical factor."
[7.0] "So before we tallk about what the story that made this show worthy of the titel "the main event" lets tallk about the other match on this show. Herc vs teddy was a bad match to finish a really bad story, it gose to show just how badly the wwf miss menged the milon dolar man charcter. Overall the match was slow and the story with ted making the olympian his slave was not good at all. (3/10) Now for ur main event. Hogan and savge vs big boss boob and omg with his slightly racist gimik was not much of a match, but it was a good setup to the best dramq in the wwf up to this point hogan good in thees segments macho is out of this world, and even liz is only a bit bad insted of the worst. This story so good by the fact that whill macho (the vilan) is ofc wrong he dose have some points and you can see why he thinks the way he dose. Hogan stands out here has he gave quite alot to randy in this one wich is unlike him. Tho that might be cos he knew he was going over at minia. Overall tho this was a welldone story beat in the best frends turn to enimes story in wwf/e history. A shame about ur 2 moster heels looking like garbge tho. Overall as a show i would rate this one a strong 7. Mvp was savge as he truly made you feel like his hate for hogan was real (wich to be fiar it was)."
[8.0] "A good event and a super important one in the history of this time. Both matches are highly effective for what they are trying to accomplish, and while Hogan bawling over Liz is melodramatic, the later scene of Savage exploding on Hogan is absolutely beautiful."
