[5.0] "Couple of solid tags and the annual heavyweight battle royal. Kensuke Sasaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima -vs- TAKA Michinoku & Buchanan [** 3/4] - A fun match with Taka being a little over-matched against Kensuke family. Michinoku tried chopping Sasaki apart, but only tired himself. He had better luck with Nakajima who he at least was competitive with. It was former WWE Tag Champion Buchanan that had to deliver the power wrestling against the mighty Sasaki. Not that he was all that successful against the hard man. Sasaki's wife was there at ringside too and assisted a tiny bit tripping Taka by the ropes. The Kensuke family didn't have all that much problems with the RO&D team and Taka made sure that they looked indestructible. TARU & Shuji Kondo & "brother" YASSHI -vs- Satoshi Kojima & AKIRA & Taiji Ishimori [** 3/4] - The Voodoo Murders showed an enlarged older photo of AKIRA wearing a not so 'in' costume to ridicule him. Needless to say AKIRA looked angry when he came out. The Voodoo crew wisely focused their time on isolating the smallest and least experienced on the other team - Ishimori. Kojima and AKIRA would get in the ring a few times and dominate, but the Voodoo Murders mainly kept them outside of the ring attacking them up there while Ishimori was beat up in the ring. No big climax, but they kept it entertaining all the way. Keiji Muto & Kohei Suwama -vs- Taiyo Kea & D-Lo Brown [* 3/4] - Solid match at times, but it was never really engaging."
