The Rock vs Mick Foley was a great choice for the show. Shame it only lasted 2 years before taking a 19 year hiatus and coming back in 2019. 1999 outshined all the others. Vince was good on commentary"

[9.0] "This was entertaining as hell and just a really intresting match, it's all brawling in the weirdest way possible, add that with the lack of a crowd, being for the WWF title and the show it is on and you habe one hell of a spectacle."

[8.0] "While I tend not to rate TV episodes, I think this was a unique enough event to warrant it. The entirety of the show (itself squeezed into the Superbowl Halftime slot) taken up by the Rock-Mankind empty arena match, which was certainly not a mat classic, but was a hugely-entertaining brawl with lots of creative use of weapons and environments and memorable trash-talk from the Rock. The one major mark against it, I think, was the POV camera shot for the forklift spot at the very end, which came off as way too fake. Overall a very fun watch."
