[7.0] "For this of Capital Carnage is good that the matches were mostly good and not bigger points where it was stuck, the fans of London gave a complete unique atmosphere different to the USA crowds, but the lacking point can be that the stage and other stuff like that felt more like a Raw taping than a PPV prepared one, the stage I even think it's the same like Raw at the time, good event but didn't feel like one, more like a Raw without commercials. 7/10"

[7.0] "Start the show on the second last match and you'll enjoy it - skip literally the first three quarters there is nothing good here"

[4.0] "There's really more filler than actually enjoyable content, but that's sorta to be expected with a PPV that really didn't get the same treatment or attention as a stateside PPV would. The three final matches are however definitely watchable. A relatively clean tag team match with solid in-ring performances, X-Pac going (mostly) toe-to-toe with The Rock, and a fatal four way that is peak Attitude Era with brawling in an out of the ring and Austin overcoming huge odds to give the middle finger to the McMahons."

[4.0] "There's been far worse UK shows than this, but it's an obvious step down from the previous year's excellent One Night Only PPV and the UK exclusive marketing meant that nothing important was ever going to happen at these shows. The Fatal 4 Way main event is fun because of the star power and I enjoyed Rock vs X-Pac too but it had a terrible DQ ending, which was a common problem on this PPV. Not a lot here is outright terrible with the matches involving Tiger Ali Singh and the dreadful LOD 2000 only lasting a few minutes, but it's not a very memorable show either."

[6.0] "While there is some rotten filler short matches which brought the show down, the main events good and the rock vs x pac match make it a show worth watching if youre going through the year 1998. Tiger Ali singh vs edge is the low point of the show but at least it was short"

[4.0] "A glorified house show for the British crowd, without much of interest. Gangrel and Snow open up the show, the crowd is hot for their entrances. Its a bit sloppy but Snow does hit a pretty cool wheelbarrow suplex. Very short to be more than average (5/10) Headbangers and LOD have a short match thats pure filler. Road Warriors had lost all their coolness by this point of the attitude era (2/10) Venis/Goldust is another short bout. Its better than their first PPV match but nowhere near as good as their second. Fine wrestling at best (4/10) Tiger Ali Singh sucks an I don't know why he was beating Edge here at all (1/10) Christian/Sable vs, Mero/Jacqueline is a shorter version than the Summerslam match with Edge its mostly okay but incredibly short . Christian looked cool and Sable was very over (5/10) Shamrock/Blackman is another average match, some good wrestling specially from Ken, but not much excitement. Bossman got the biggest reactions of the match (5/10) Triple H comes back from an injury and has a basic match with Jarrett. They were in autopilot but still played to the crowd and had a mostly average showing (5/10) Tag Title match is standar Outlaws fare, they're over and theres a few good moments here and there. Henry still wasn't good so that kept this match from being better (5/10) X-Pac had a pretty good underdog showing against the Rock, but it ends with a pretty deflating DQ so I can't really fully enjoy it (5/10) Four way main event starts with some fighting even before the entrances are finished. Takers Ministry theme is very badass. Its a very chaotic brawl as usual from Attitude era main events. Its the best of the night but it isn't a classic either (6/10)"

[4.0] "Most of this was, for all intents and purposes, a televised house show - lots of short TV-style matches, most of which had ties to ongoing storylines but resulted in no meaningful story development to speak of. Nothing too bad (except, perhaps, Tiger Ali Singh, who goes over Edge in under 3 minutes with a roll-up), but nothing at all essential. The most notable bout in the early going is probably Marc Mero & Jacqueline vs Christian & Sable, which is largely a lesser rehash of the SummerSlam match (with Christian taking Edge's spot here), but is notably Mero's final WWF appearance. Things pick up a little with the final two bouts, with Rock defending his title against X-Pac, which goes to a DQ and is a decent chapter in the Rock-DX feud, and the main event, with Austin overcoming the odds in his four-way match despite the Corporation's best efforts. The show is helped by a crowd that stays pretty hot throughout."

[5.0] "This is a show of two halves basically. The first one is awful with loads of randomly thrown together matches that in most cases don't even last five minutes, but after Shamrock vs Blackman, which by the way wasn't bad, but not anything special, they picked up the speed. Triple H and Jarrett have a short, but a competent match and then a very good Tag Team Match for the titles happens, although the finish to this could have been built up better. Rock vs X-Pac is easily the match of the night and a lesson on how to have an underdog match. X-Pac surprises Rock with some offense but not because they're matched in terms of talent, but because Dwayne underestimates him, which is a perfect way to keep the world champion looking strong. The DQ finish screws it up a little, but still it was a very entertaining and well put together contest. And the main event is fine, although it really gets into another gear in the second half, when all guys are in the ring and the pace gets faster. Austin wins and celebrates with Vinnie Jones, which is a fine ending to an overall not too bad of a show, which is a little overhated in my opinion, especially considering other stinkers in the Attitude Era."

[4.0] "This show is the archetype for what was wrong with the WWF Attitude Era PPV scene. The under card was the drizzling shits but the main event blew the roof off the place and single handed saved this show from the turd pile. What we ended up with here is yet another mediocre PPV that was soon forgotten. The match didn't qualify for the review but I wanted to talk about that Edge/Singh match. Tiger Ali Singh sucked so bad in the ring that Edge did EVERY single piece of offense in that match, only for Ali to counter with a roll up and win because that's the only way they could book him to win a match. Just a terrible wrestler. Edge basically wrestling alone in there."

[3.0] "Very few of the wrestlers seemed to really be trying, Vince's heel promo has aged horribly, and in general it was just not much fun. They didn't do much story stuff as it wasn't shown in the US - which after Survivor Series might have been a blessing - but the matches didn't really make up for it. Most of the matches were dull, many were too short to matter, and they didn't have the main title match as the main event, which is always a bad sign for a show."

[4.0] "One Night Only was a perfect UK PPV but this show is a huge disappointment. Most of the matches are on level of Raw. Only few ones are okay and only one (Rock vs X-Pac) is good. Main event is little disappointing. It's a no DQ match but there are no cool spots, just sometimes enterteining brawling. Howewer I will give this show one bonus point because of great London crowd."

[4.0] "It's like watching an house show from home, UK fans were chaotic and highly supportive for the event. Too bad the quality isn't at the top, almost every wrestler seems in its night off. Even a 3 minutes match with Tiger Ali Singh is terrible to watch, in the undercard only Goldust vs Val Venis is acceptable. The Rock vs X-Pac is okay, probably it would have been better without interferences. The fatal 4 way main event is disappointing, the Corporation is more relevant than the wrestlers. Forgettable event, with only a few good things."
