[7.0] "The Rey Mysterio vs. Psicosis match dominates the episode and delivers a fast-paced, athletic spot fest that is undeniably exciting, though its reputation arguably exceeds its actual substance. The innovation and execution are strong, but it leans more toward spectacle than depth. Outside of this showcase, the show struggles, offering little in the way of meaningful angles or narrative progression, which leaves the overall episode feeling thin despite the standout match."
[6.0] "A fun match with some impressive athleticism for the time. Its a shame this one decents into a brawl too much and doesnt stay more in the ring. Crowd were very into this though which is cool."
[9.0] "Fucking awesome another great lucha match between 2 great luchadors. Fucking killed each other here they went all out. Insane spots great chemistry what else can you want from a match like this. Barely went a few minutes over 10 highly recommend 4.5/5"
[9.0] "Single match episode that needed no more. The match itself was fantastic and I have reviewed it in the match guide, so what did the rest of the show have? Plenty of highlights from recent ECW events at the time. Looks cool. I cannot say that I have watched Hardcore TV before, so let this be an introduction."
[8.0] "The debut of these two stars from Mexico, Rey Mysterio and Psycosis made sure everyone in the ECW Arena and watching never forgot it, and kept us wanting more. They were brought in because of the exit of Eddie Gurerro, Dean Malenko and then Chris Benoit. They must have also caught the eye of Eric Bischofff, as they were both soon scooped up by WCW, and soon were having the same great matches the did together in Mexico, and ECW, in the cruiserweight division of WCW."
