[8.0] "we had an incredible match, an epic finishing of the episode and a surprising moment during a trash segment. after the bad episode of the previous week finally Smackdown go ahead! and dont' forget they're beginning to plant the seed for the Smackdown Six"

[8.0] "Holy shit I did not realize that Hardcore Holly's neck actually broke on that botched attempt, and he stayed in and took an F5 after? FUUUUCK. When that move happened I figured it was planned, but the way they sorta paused the match after it happened made me think it was real... but then they continued on so I again thought it was planned. Roller coaster really. Also, the wedding with billy and chuck was fucking awesome. Along with the very good angle promo leading into the equally awesome rey/angle match, I don't see how people are rating this episode low or saying "nothing significant" happens lmaoooo WHAT? From the jump, I knew there was someone underneath that costume, but I never guessed it would be bischoff. I knew it had to be someone good because of the delivery of all of the lines. It was definitely a surprise to me though and he played that really well. Obviously as soon as he said 3 minutes I knew what was going on. Loved that whole scene. The godfather coming out got a pop from me as I watched from home. Cena again looks like ass, so coming from someone who stopped watching around this time and never saw any of Cena's championship matches, I simply cannot understand how this guy eventually becomes a 17 time WWE champ. With HHH I understand, he was cliq'd up and married the boss's daughter. Rock makes sense as well as he always had the charisma, even when he was cheesin it up as Rocky Maivia. But Cena, I just don't get it. And I don't get how the WWF was able to elevate him. Looking forward to continuing this binge watch and finding out though! Also Torrie Wilson is so smoking hot, I wish that match was longer."

[8.0] "In hindsight, this Smackdown turns out to be a pretty iconic episode. For good and bad. Nevertheless, its an entertaining show. The infamous Lesnar vs Holly match. This is when Lesnar would drop Holly on his head from a botched powerbomb. Holly breaks his neck. The story goes that Holly sandbagged Lesnar as he loved to push his weight around and bully young rookies. Well how did that go? Not well. I dont think any sane person would try to bully Brock Lesnar. Whether this story is true or not is another thing. Holly has said in shoot interviews that it was a complete accident and Lesnar apologised multiple times and even rang him when he was in the hospital. I wonder if it was a different rookie ending up breaking Hollys neck would he have been so forgiving and cool about it? A fun match between Eddie/Chavo vs Edge/Cena. A really good match between Kurt vs Rey, they have great chemistry. Kurt cuts a promo before the match. Its quite the famous promo now as its been posted a lot on social media nowadays. Yes, its the one that Kurt says hes a real man and Rey is just a boy. A really fun promo and shows how great the Angle character can be. He can completely clown himself but 10 minutes later hes having a classic match while being 100% serious. One of the best wrestling weddings in my opinion also occurs on this show. Rico and Bischoff are great here. Rico is extremely stressed and anxious for the wedding to go perfectly. The Godfather returns to a great reaction with the hoes and asks Billy and Chuck what the hell has happened to them as they used to like women when they hung out back in the day. Rico threatens to get security so The Godfather and his hoes dance up the ramp and leave. A fun moment. Rico tells the revenant to cut to the chase. Billy and Chuck both are apprehensive to actually say Yes but Rico stares them both down and basically forces them to continue and get married. Chuck and Billy then tell the reverent to stop immediately and announce they arent even gay. They thought this was just a publicity stunt and that this was the agreement the whole time. Rico predicts that Chuck and Billy would do this. The reverent tells everyone to hold on and that the bond between Billy and Chuck will never change, it doesnt matter if it lasts 50 years, 16 months or 3 minutes. The revenant takes off his face mask, its Eric Bischoff. A great reaction and an even better camera shot which shows Rico and Stephanie standing next to one another. Rico with an evil smile and Stephanie in shock. 3 minute warning come out and destroy everyone. Rico holds down Stephanie for the splash but the Smackdown roster come out for the save. I say a lot of people would disagree but I thought this was a lot of fun. Classic WWE soap drama at its best. Matt Hardy vs Undertaker main event, Lesnar and Heyman are at ringside but both get thrown out. Heyman goes back stage and goes into Takers locker room, where his pregnant partner is. Classic creepy/sleazy Heyman here. Undertaker runs out of the ring and to the backstage to go and protect his partner Sara. When he gets there hes attacked by Lesnar with a chair. Lesnar pushes Sara up against the wall and has a creepy feel of her pregnant belly. Infamous Holly neck break, great wrestling with Angle v Rey, silly fun bollocks with Billy and Chucks wedding. What else do you want?"

[4.0] "The Angle/Rey promo exchange was pretty good, as was their match right after, and the Los Guerreros tag was a good match as usual, but the rest of this show was severely lacking, especially the thing this show is most notable for, which was the gay wedding, which ended up making Billy and Chuck vs. 3MW at Unforgiven. This was also the show Holly sandbagged Lesnar on, which resulted in his broken neck."

[5.0] "Not a great episode. It starts off well and theres a very good match between Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle with a really funny promo from Kurt Angle as well. Highly recommend. There's also an infamous match where Brock Lesnar breaks Hardcore Holly's neck when Holly tries to sandbag him. Really bad idea. Unfortunately for me the show falls off a cliff when it gets to the boring commitment ceremony. I did like the ending where Rico betrayed them and the very old priest was actually Eric Bischoff setting up a 3 Minute Warning invasion. It's just a shame it took so long to get to the point. The main event is also poor where it's just an angle thats supposed to bring heel heat to Brock Lesnar, but it makes Undertaker look like an idiot for bringing his pregnant wife to the arena. Edge v Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle v Chris Benoit are obviously great matches to have at Unforgiven, but they could have been more creative than building both feuds off of the stink face!"

The wedding was fine but took way too long to get to the point. Kurt Angle cut a funny promo and the build to Taker/Lesnar continues with his wife getting involved."

Billy and Chuck have their commitment ceremony which ends in complete chaos (what did we expect? ) With 3 Minute Warning destroying everything and Rico joining RAW. More setting up of Taker vs Brock with Sara involved"
