Moxley VS Perry was interesting as a clash of styles and worked rather well, I always forget just how good Jack actually is. Women's tag was weak, as was the Statlander match, both seemed to need a bit more room to breathe and never got up off the ground which is a shame especially in Stats case as her match with Viva seemed to be beginning to tap into some sort of chemistry. Kevin Knight V Jericho was weak and was the first sign since Jericho has been shinied up for his return that he may still be that same 50/50 guy. I don't know how he still pulls out the occasional classic, and I'm glad he does but this was sure not that. White VS Findlay was fine but this feud in my eyes has always deserved more than the subtext of 'who gets to lead the next bullet club inspired group' allows. It feels very relaint on old histories and Findlay, despite being an excellent wrestler, does not get any heat in AEW so this has all felt weird and out of place. Hopefully Switchblade can move on to brighter pastures soon. All in all, decent show, not at all awful but was really not what was needed so soon to Wembley. That shows card looks phenomenal on paper but it needs a real kick in the pants creatively. Oh well, I'm actually looking forward to the fallout of All In more than the show itself so there are seeda for cool long term stories, but in the here and now? This was weak, no way around it. |

The Jericho/Callis botch was insanely bad but the whole match was poor, what is Jericho thinking at this point? Can't muster any interest in Finlay Jr, White, or Perry so it's a lot of waiting for the next interesting thing to pop up. |

Don Callis reminding Will and Kenny that, without him, they never would have experienced their biggest victory in AEW... that's Don Callis through and through. The guy is clearly trying to get inside their heads and create tension between the two of them. This bald bastard is a real snake. And Will refusing to accept Kenny's help certainly isn't going to make things any better. The more Will isolates himself, the more likely he is to make questionable decisions. And as we know: a man alone sometimes makes very bad decisions. Excellent opener. MJF comes in next with his post-match promo to put everyone back in their place: classic MJF. Simple, effective, perfect. And Mick Foley... what the hell happened to him? Why is he so damn funny now? His promo with the Bang Bang Gang was incredible. I didn't know I needed to see Mick Foley in this kind of segment, but now I want more of it. Swerve comes out and drops the facts as usual. But now, the big question is: what happens to Cowboy Hangman Adam Page now that he can't go after the AEW World Championship? Is he going to end up in the tag or trios division until the end of time? Swerve explains that Bandido, Brody, and Adam Page all have one thing in common: him. And Page responds with a simple question: "What have you accomplished this year? " BOOM. Reverse Card. Uno. Swerve had nothing left to say. Speechless. Then The Demand shows up to stake their claim to the Trios Titles. And Ricochet asking Swerve if he knows how to count to three in French and Spanish... that moment definitely wasn't on my bingo card. And Ricochet doing Nana's dance? LMFAO. I was DEAD. That said, I have to admit I'm a little disappointed. I completely understand the logic since they hold the Trios Titles, but I would have loved to see Adam Page vs. Swerve again. That feud could have driven me absolutely insane. So now, what's Swerve's road to Wembley? If the Adam Page feud is officially being put on the back burner, I'm really curious to see what they have in store for him. Willow... sorry, but Mercedes was literally in your field of vision when the attack happened. LMAOOOO. And then Kyle Fletcher vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada? That has the potential to be the greatest Triple Threat in history. Just saying. Overall, a good show, with good matches and some really great segments. But holy shit... the women's division. They genuinely don't know what to do with it anymore. |

One of the major things that pissed me off constantly throughout the night was the unrealistic officiating. For instance, in the Moxley match, the ref pulled Moxley off of Perry when he was giving him forearms in the center of the ring that were completely legal. Instead of a ref stoppage, he LET PERRY GET UP. How does that make sense? Also when Jericho came close to hitting Aubrey, she went out in between the ropes and literally look away for a whole 10 seconds? Speaking of 10 seconds, i didnt hear one single ref count while anyone was outside the ring all night. Anyway, another negative was that all the segments made zero sense. It was cool to see swerve back, but what was the reason that he was there? None. What Kenny and Will were saying to each other sounded like they were saying shit for the sake of saying it, which sucks bc i was actually enjoying their feud so far. Also, why were some of ur biggest matches for All In given 1 minute, or no time at all such as Bucks vs C&C, Mercedes vs Willow, and the triple threat? Moving onto the positives, MJF had a great match followed by a great promo advancing his feud with Andrade. Both of the C3 matches were great overall. Despite the specifics, Swerve is finally back on television with other big stars as he should be. The TBS title picture got some good exposure, although i think they took up a little too much time. Overall, could have been worse, but not great going into All In. |

Most of the matches have no real history or heat. White vs Finlay should have, but I think both guys are suffering from a lack of character in AEW. Look at the ups and downs of Jay's NJPW run in comparison, and the emotional depth his character had. In the end it felt like White and Finlay just had a match, and not a match involving their stories. Knight vs Jericho had one of the weirdest botches I've seen in a while. Even if Don had waited for them to get to the ropes, why even cheat and risk disqualification when your guy has moved to the ropes already? AEW's TV shows haven't seen any real consistency in good quality since before Double or Nothing in May. This is the time to really turn it up, with Wembley just two weeks away. I'm not feeling it with a show like this. |

The world championships don't feel like great prizes right now, and much of this is due to the awful Owen Hart tournament this year. Both the women's and men's tournaments felt bland, like filler, and predictable. It pains me to give this rating, but this show, in front of thousands of people, didn't help get me excited for the upcoming pay-per-view either. It's been anticipated and presented in such a predictable way, which isn't necessarily bad, but there's predictability that impresses, excites, and makes you want to see more, and predictability that bores you, makes you look away, and feels like everything we're seeing right now is a slow and painful ordeal that I hope will end soon. |

They had an incredible moment a few weeks back with both giving some of their best promo work ever. Since then though things have been a bit iffy. Ospreay really needs to suppress the cringe. We don't need him smiling and trying to do a comedy routine. We also don't need the Don Callis family getting in the mix. I get the point they were trying to make and why they did it, but it just wasn't executed well. Elsewhere on the show, Jericho had a poor match with Kevin Knight, because they are making the same mistake they did before with Jericho by over saturating him when he's well past his sell by date. Women were an after thought. That said, the opening match between MJF, Speedball and Nick Wayne was very entertaining and Moxley anr Perry had a great match in the main event. It was also great to see Swerve finally back. |

The other promo's on the show were pretty decent as well and confirming the international title match for All In is fucking great to see. SO yeah an alright two and a half hours hopefully next week will take it up a gear. |

Das Tempo war gut, wrestlerisch war es aber nicht spektakulär anzusehen (***). Hikaru Shida & Persephone vs. Maya World & Thunder Rosa war ein gutes Tag Match aber nichts herausragendes (***). Jack Perry vs. Jon Moxley war klar das beste Match des Abends. Die Schlussphase war super. Für meinen Geschmack ist Perry etwas zu lang Bearbeitung worden, sonst ein gutes Match (*** 3/4). |

Im Anschluss sehen wir ein Backstage Interview mit Willow, das aber direkt zu Beginn von Moné beendet wird indem sie Willow attackiert. Jericho vs. Knight war dann naja und Kris Statlander macht kurzen Prozess mit Viva Van. Danach kommt es zu einem sehr schwachen Tag Team Match in der Women's Division. Kurz danach kam es zum soliden Main Event einer sonst eher schwachen Ausgabe von AEW Dynamite. |

There were still enough strong matches, storyline developments, and intriguing directions around the trios scene and the road to Wembley to make this an enjoyable show, but the Continental Challenge Cup and some of the booking choice continue to leave me wanting more. |

Up until 3 hours prior to the show, ZERO women's matches were announced, and then they were jammed next to each other in the final half hour and the Willow/Mercedes segment lasted less time than Statlander/Van (who couldn't even get an entrance) and we had to listen to some Fed jackass yelling Sasha come home (WWE fans are a cult like MAGA), this show had a 20 minute overrun so there's no fucking excuse other than flat out misogyny. After reading the Collision spoilers, it seems the women are an afterthought there too. I love Divine Dominion (jersey has been ordered), but that was alcohol abuse! Not a fan of show opening promos, especially with a weak ass crowd like this one. I'm fine with Omega/Ospreay being the main event at All In, but not much is being done to get me invested, especially with Don Callis sticking his nose in it (like everything else these days). It's 2026, Chris Fucking Jericho should not be taking up TV time challenging for championships while his buddy Big Show glazes him the entire match, especially with that awful botch with Callis at the end. What the fuck was that? He is beyond washed and doesn't belong here, he should be doing nostalgia tours on the indies. Also, where the fuck is Thekla, how is she not being featured leading up to All In? At this point, we're going to get 30 minutes of women's matches on a 5+ hour show. I don't care if it's WBD or TK to blame, it just needs to be addressed and fixed. I did enjoy the Trios showdown and the potential for who Swerve will have join him. So far this Continental Challenge Cup has been a massive let down, especially if it ends with Mox winning it. Could have used this time to have a Women's C2 instead, there's 12 capable women just sitting around while TK blesses us with Jericho and multiple Don Callis appearances every week. Didn't the MCMG get signed too? Where are they? I am losing interest in AEW because I don't want to watch a 2 and a half to 3 hour show, which is nearly what it's been the past 3 weeks. For that alone I am subtracting a few points, and will give Dynamite lower ratings until it comes back to 2 hours. Now, for the show itself - it was definitely well below the (high) expectations for Dynamite. A rambling Will Ospreay promo that didn't seem to go anywhere to open the show? We can't have meaningful promos from Ospreay and Omega every week, please don't try. There was SO much in seemingly every promo that is so lazy and formulaic. Hangman being cut off by Swerve right as he was about to talk in ring - why does this happen multiple times on every show? And the pre-taped Willow/Mone segment where Willow barely gets a word in and is attacked - that did nothing. Every promo and segment in this show felt dull and uninspired. There were some good matches - I did like the 3 way match, the Jay White/David Finely match, and the women's tag match - solid matches worth watching, but not enough to offset all of the other problems. I had issues with other matches as well - why must Kevin Knight cheat in 5 different ways to beat Jericho? And please no more screwdriver. And I was not as high on the Moxley/Perry match as others. In ring story telling was good, but I really didn't like Moxley's weak looking offense. |
