[8.0] "Very fun episode overall. The marriage of ECW with WCW (and inclusion of Stephanie) is not great but at least Heyman is in that mix. The DDP storyline is really stupid but the Angle/Austin/Vince skits are extremely funny. Awesome and Jeff Hardy had a very fun little match."

[7.0] "Well this is the first WWF show in a while that actually had some kind of main event, so that's an improvement. Nice to see the powers that be fix the travesty of the previous invasion and start to course correct, although I'm still pissed that they even went that route because other plots went on hold or got completely killed for it. Now it's all for nothing and seems to be a fresh start. Another solid plus from this episode is no ALBERT. The Stone Cold skits are starting to really annoy me. Partially because you're taking the top two guys right now (stone cold and angle), guys who had a very specific character and turned them into something else basically overnight, both of them at the same time. it doesn't sit well with me and I'm hoping it ends soon. I enjoyed the Vince promo where he asked the crowd to give him a hell yeah to have stone cold beat his ass. There wasn't much wrestling here, but I did like that the three matches that had WCW defects were actual WWF matches with WWF commentators. It felt more natural that way and with that said, it seemed mike awesome, DDP, and lance storm gave the three best WCW performances since the merger yet. So, a lot of promising stuff. Although it wasn't a perfect show and there weren't any great matches, there are signs that things are on the up. It's almost as if Vince and the booking team all of a sudden realized that the WCW defects weren't half as talented as they thought, and that booker T and DDP and crew had no business pretending to be on the same level as undertaker and stone cold. The WWF already poached WCW's best talent over the past two years, along with the top 10 or so ECW talents. I have to say I am still getting a kick out of the WWF/WCW ref battle and excited for the ref matchup at invasion."

[6.0] "This is a weird show to rate because it's barely a wrestling show. I think by the 45 minute mark there had been 5 minutes of wrestling. That being said there are some excellent promos and segments in here, especially from Vince and Heyman. It's clear WWF have way more a respect for ECW and are willing to present them as more of a serious threat than the WCW guys."

[8.0] "Vince cut a great promo on how he needs the old Stone Cold back and how this version of Stone Cold would result in a win for the alliance. Austin and Angle had another great segment with that guitar segment here. The rest of the show had its moments with a great alliance beat down on Angle and Taker to close the show overall, another step in the right direction for this angle."

[8.0] ""I need the old Stone Cold". We all do Vince, we all do. Again is an episode about shenanigans and The Alliance outnumbering WWE at every turn, but the more frequent matches between WWE stars and the Alliance was definitely a step in the right direction. This is one of the most memorable episodes because of the Vince McMahon promo as well as Stone Cold Steve Austin singing to try and cheer him up. He had some really funny moments as a heel and this episode was full of them."
