[8.0] "Very fun Dynamite with some decent story progression, and some very good wrestling like always. Cope and Cage put on a pretty decent match versus The Death Riders [***]. Andrade vs. Jake Doyle was pretty fun with the progressing story of Andrade's hatred of the Don Callis Family [***1/2]. Then Kyle Fletcher vs. Komander was legitimately had one of the best TV matches of the year. Absolutely insane fluidity with every single move. The Super Destroyer was also awesome. They had such a great match and am so glad this was on Dynamite [****3/4]. Brian Cage vs. Darby Allin was a pretty fun match with some very high highs, like the toss into the ring post. I also love Darby's Coffin Drops to the outside that look brutal [***1/2]. The Heels vs. Faces main event was pretty fun with some nice action to close out the night [****]. So overall, a really fun show, with an awesome match between Fletcher and Komander."
[9.0] "9, I can't rate it because haha funny website rules, but this was as solid a piece of follow-up tv to last week as you could ever hope for. Great matches top to bottom, lots of fun backstage stuff, I quite liked the angle with Brodido and Fletcher. Thr Kenny celebration definitely led into the overrun, but it was all great despite feeling its length. Darby looked seriously hurt which, yeah what else is new, but this match looked severe and I do wonder if there were any safety concerns here. Mainly noticed Darby flipping off, and teabagging Cage at the end of the match. May be delusional but that coupled with what looked like some very real pain, from a guy who has watched him a lot i dunno something felt off I hope he's well. The main event was a blast, it seemed to end abruptly and Divine Dominion failed to capture the crowd the way the other performers did, but not for lack of trying as their actions were effective and contributed to a great match. Speaking of Boston, what a crowd, one of the best in recent memory, wow, even if AEW blowing out the crowd noise over their backstage segments or interview promos has become an inpermissable issue in 2026 it's nice to know they're having fun, and loud. Fletcher and Kommanfer had one of the TV matches of the year here, beautiful ring-work by Kommander, with Fletcher enough an athlete to make the most out of his opponent. It was magi, a showcase again of why lucha is so fucking cool. On that note, Brodido was back and maybe in a big way. Seems maybe they're setting up a match for Wembley, which is fantastic and I was happy to see them all over this Dynamite. The tag title match was great fun if mostky forgettable, and Andrade remains a huge star who keeps getting hotter. Was honestly just great TV, aided definitely by a great crowd. Big fan of tonights proceedings. The new PPV seems to be on the backburner compared to Wembley, which makes sense, but I don't know if I love how that card is shaking up. All in all, yeah, nine. Enjoyed it all."
[7.0] "This was a pretty good show with the best match easily being Komander vs Fletcher. The build to Redemption is evidently rushed as matches seem to be thrown together quickly. That definitely hurt this show a bit, especially with the whole Jericho Painmaker reveal, which was laughably bad. Also the Omega and Ospreay feud has a lot of work to do because Ospreay came off more annoying than anything in the promo he delivered. Overall a good episode of wrestling action though. Grade: C+"
[7.0] "Good Dynamite overall. Liked pretty much all the matches and some were quite great. Solid if somewhat rushed build to Redemption. Did not at all like the Ospreay/Omega promo. The lame Dragonball Z line was one thing, Ospreay not shaking the impression that he's basically an overgrown 12 year old boy, but nearly as bad was Omega's weak response and meandering promo with Kevin Knight. Why on earth did he say "Max Of Jacob Friedman" like six times? Bizarre stuff but at this point he has so much goodwill it kind of doesn't matter what he does before or after the bell rings, I guess."
[8.0] "The show opens with Edge and Christian in a rough match against the Death Riders, which escalates into a faction war between the Death Riders and the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs, with the tag team champions caught in the middle. Andrade faces Jake Doyle, and Darby Allin takes on Cage in a match that capitalizes on the physical differences between the two wrestlers. Kyle Fletcher faces Komander in a very good match where both give it their all, but then we see that Kyle Fletcher has challengers for his title even within his own family. The Divine Trio of Mercedes Moné against Willow, Hyan, and Maya World was a good trios match. The other day, Kevin Knight called MFJ a fraud, and today Kenny Omega, who is by no means a friend of the devil (whose promo Kevin interrupted between him and Will Ospreay, which wasn't anything special), told him that he is the real fraud, since he started acting arrogantly and joined the DCF. In summary, it was a Dynamite with matches that didn't reach a high level of quality, but everything they did was quite well executed."
[7.0] "A drop off from Beach Break, which was effectively a mini PPV with the main event being moved forward from the Redemption later this month. It meant this Dynamite felt like a bit of a re-jig of original plans with random match pairings and appearance, with some storyline progression towards Redemption and All In. Fletcher vs Komander was by far the standout match, with women's tag main event pretty good too. Everything else was decent enough, with too much focus on the Ospreay DBZ reference the promo with Omega."
[7.0] "A very decent episode of AEW Dynamite. I thought the promo battle between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay wasn't good because of Will Ospreay because of that quote, and you know what I'm talking about. The in-ring material was very good. Next week we have Darby Allin challenging for the AEW TNT Title as Kevin Knight looks to defend that, and an All-Star Six-Man Tag Team Match."
[4.0] "This Dynamite show clearly highlighted the mess surrounding the Redemption pay-per-view and the weakness of having wasted the MJF vs. Omega match at Beach Break. Had it been included in the pay-per-view, it would have been the biggest draw and a must-see event in itself. Right now, this show and the ones following Redemption are completely irrelevant, especially considering the challengers for the world titles, who make no sense, are weak, and feel forced. The Kevin Knight and Willow pushes are the character pushes I've hated the most all year in AEW. They don't feel like they're in those positions because of merit or effort; they don't have the momentum to fight in main event positions, much less reach all-in as champions, which is something that could easily happen if they both win their matches at the pay-per-view. Speaking strictly about the show, I liked Ospreay's promo during Omega's celebration. I think their story is one of friendship. And to fight for the love of their work and what they do best, both should enter and leave Wembley as heroes. The Komander vs. Fletcher match was another impressive encounter from both of them and should be repeated once or twice a year. Just seeing that Super Canadian Destroyer and Komander walking the ropes is worth paying for a ticket or turning on the TV. The signing of Jake Doyle has been one of the worst of the year so far. He's a guy who doesn't work well, doesn't look good, and has no mic skills. I see him losing for a long time. I won't waste time talking about the tag team scene because it's dead with the old guys as champions. The drain of charisma that Darby Allin has suffered after being one of the biggest figures this year is astonishing. Right now, he's an unrecognizable character, and it's all the fault of bringing him in to do insignificant nonsense with insignificant people. The main event was boring. By this point in the show, I'd already been fighting for two hours between falling asleep and turning off the TV to do something else because it was such an irrelevant show. Ending it with this six-woman tag team match, which had no storyline and the heels won, was completely absurd. Any Stardom title match for the six-woman tag team championship is better than this. And on paper, these six wrestlers must be earning what the entire Stardom roster earns, maybe just Mone, which speaks volumes about how awful the women's division is in AEW."
[8.0] "Good show, with plenty of competent wrestling; especially from Andrade - Doyle, and Fletcher - Kommander. Women's tag in the main was also decent, as was the Omega celebration planting the seeds that Knight might turn face again (which I doubt will be anytime soon)."
[8.0] "Cage & Cope successfully defend their tag titles, but in the aftermath we get a melee between the Death Riders and Dogs against the Bang Bang Gang and C&C. Jay White and Christian Cage are next level entertainment. Andrade with a win, and selfie with his most attractive fan yet. We get a tag match next. Let's keep Bandido away from Brody King. That tandem had its run, now let's keep Bandido in singles action, whether it is defending the ROH title, or pursuing an AEW singles title (like the International). By the way, in reality Brody King is no match for Nick Comoroto. Match of the Night: Kyle Fletcher defends his International title against Komander. Excellent match. Then in the most fictional match Darby Allin defeats Brian Cage. I will never get the obsession. At least Megan Bayne won in the main event."
[9.0] "Wasn't crazy about this card or the idea of Kevin Knight as the challenger to Omega but this ended up being a thoroughly enjoyable show for me. Opener was fun if nothing special and we got the first tease of Bucks/C&C, they did a good job the whole night of planting seeds like that. Thought Andrade/Doyle was a really good match that's being slightly underrated. I loved the whole Omega segment, some of his best mic work in a long time, some cold lines from Kevin that sold me more on him as the opponent (and some nice story building around people trying to talk him out of being with Callis throughout the night), plus all the intrigue with the Mox stuff and Darby attacking Knight to some hilarious facials from Ospreay. Fletcher/Komander was fucking fantastic, Komander is so underrated and Fletcher/Bandido could be a MOTYC, while they also managed to plant the seeds of Okada/Takeshita/Fletcher. Cage launching Darby around is always a lot of fun, some sick spots there especially that stiff suplex on the ramp and Darby's head hitting the ring post. And then a good main event to see us home. Not the most major feeling Dynamite but a breeze to watch, exclusively good to great wrestling, lots of subtle story building, strong promo work and I think they dealt with the fact Redemption is a bit of a distraction quite well and made the picture for All In ever clearer. Only real negatives for me in the end was some matches for Redemption being less interesting than they could be with other competitors and the return of the Painmaker gimmick. 8.5."
[6.0] "Decent-to-good in-ring work pretty much throughout, but a lot of really strange booking here, especially in the runup to Redemption, which is beginning to look like a second speed bump on the road to All In (Forbidden Door being the other annual obstacle that needs to be overcome to get there) - like a PPV that's just there because it's there and doesn't need to be. An all-time bad promo from Ospreay and lots of muddled stuff with the Death Riders, whose direction is becoming increasingly incoherent again. I'm sure Kevin Knight vs Omega will be a good match in isolation, but why it needs to happen right now is extremely unclear. Andrade vs Doyle and Fletcher vs Komander was good, but I dunno. I can't fault the matches themselves too much but I'm not sure I love the overall creative direction right now."
[7.0] "Enjoyed Dynamite this week. Some strong matches here, including a strong TV MOTY contender from Komander and Kyle Fletcher as well as a couple other solid matches like Darby/Cage and Andrade/Doyle. Not sure how necessary Redemption is as a PPV but the card is shaping up to be pretty great with a number of matches getting announced for it on this show. Very excited for Kyle/Bandido and Andrade/Davis and even though i do have issues with Kevin Knight as Kenny's opponent (why is he not defending his own title), their match at the PPV should be excellent. Couple of things i didn't like on this show though. While i liked the promo between Kenny and Kevin on this show, i thought Ospreay's part in that segment absolutely sucked. I just find him so unlikeable and his promo on this show was just so grating. I'm already dreading what a Will Ospreay world title reign looks like and this promo didn't exactly help things. I think the worst part of this show was Jericho though. His presence on this show just pisses me off so much. Who wants to see Painmaker Chris Jericho have a match in 2026? Who is this even for? I just don't understand the value in having him on TV anymore. He just takes up time that other people could use so he can be involved in heatless feuds that go on for way to long and that nobody cares about. He's a completely pointless addition to the product and i honestly can't wait until he retires so i don't have to see him on TV anymore. Outside of those couple of issues though, this was a pretty good show. Some good wrestling on this card and some cool announcements for the PPV. MOTN - Komander vs. Kyle Fletcher"
[8.0] "This was a more promo-heavy Dynamite, which felt different, but I wasn't opposed to it. Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher got a lot of focus, and it felt like a preview of who will carry Dynamite once the older talent begin to retire. Kyle Fletcher and Komander were the highlight of the night but the women's trio main event was very good as well. This would get a higher score, but Jericho segments are painful to endure, and Ospreay's Deathriders saga is a bore."
[4.0] "This was not a good episode of Dynamite at all. The build to Redemption is nonexistent and I am not looking forward to this card at all. It feels like Redemption is a filler PPV, and just an excuse to have another show before All In. It's very existence doesn't make much sense and all the booked matches don't really excite me or are extremely predictable. The show started off with an underwhelming tag match, Cage and Cope won the tag match and the aftermath confused me. I don't know whether to think the Deathriders are heels or babyfaces, them being 'loyal' to only a select few individuals is boring television. In this segment they played heel, later in the night when Ospreay needed them they were out to make the babyface save. Weird opening segment, the most interesting thing that can come out of this is David Finlay vs Jay White, and that definitely is not a PPV level match. Andrade vs Jake Doyle was fine, Andrade picks up the win and Andrade vs Mark Davis is one of the few intriguing matches of Redemption as they battle for the National title. I mean nobody really cares for this useless belt and EVERYONE knows Andrade is winning, but this is probably the best we got. The brodido tag felt like a waste of time for me, and while the Fletcher match was good, Kommander was NEVER beating Kyle and this felt like another waste for me. For whatever reason Bandido (the ROH champ btw) will fight Kyle at the PPV. I'm sure it'll be a great match but this is the match I would like to see headlining a Dynamite not a PPV with no build. The Kenny Ospreay Knight promo severly underwhelmed, nobody wants to see Kevin Knight in the main event of Redemption, there's no fucking way this company actually thought this was a better alternative than MJF Kenny, SO FUCKING BAD. And on top of that this promo just did not end, it rambled and rambled and rambled. THE KEVIN KNIGHT MIKE BAILEY MATCH IN MONTREAL IS RIGHT FUCKING THERE! RIGHT FUCKING THERE TONY! WHY.. WHY are we getting this predictable nonsense. Darby beat Brian Cage in a fine match, but honestly who cares. And the main event trios match was nothing to ride home about, this company is clueless with the booking of their women's division, there is no story, the matches feel like they're thrown together at the last minute, and everything is so generic. Terrible episode of Dynamite creatively, the wrestling was good as it always is, but if I can't sink my teeth into anything or see the vision of a PPV that occurs in a couple weeks, i can't be bothered. 3.5/10 show, wake up Tony, Redemption is 10 days away."
[6.0] "Solid episode... the matches weren't anything spectacular, but they were good matches, and we also had interesting developments here towards not only Redemption, but All In, specially with Kenny's title win celebration, with an angle involving Ospreay and Knight. The Jericho/Ciampa vignettes were very captivating as well, and sold their match well with very few screen time. The show had 2h20, after a really long overrun."
[5.0] "Going into this show, there was one match made official for Redemption 11 days out. Four matches were made (including but not limited to the latest Bandido PPV loss while ROH Champion suffering zero repercussions as well as a foregone conclusion of Omega's potentially only title defense before Wembley.) The interview between Knight/Omega/Ospreay felt like it would never end. Some solid wrestling with Komander/Kyle being the best match on the show but a show that dragged overall."
[7.0] "Right i could be completely wrong with this because i felt this episode whilst it had some good stuff was so empty. Although that may be because i was so fucked off and empty after once again having my heart broken by England. Like from a match standpoint this was a very Collison card nothing really stuck out as a must see match up other than the main but that felt like TK didn't really give a shit about it and it was one of the short we have had in a long time. Fletcher vs Komander was a fun match and that was about it. Then from a story side and going forward to redemption is was really eh. Like why couldn't Kenny wrestle Swerve for the belt after he tried to break his neck back in February. Why is Bandido getting another PPV where he is obviously going to lose. Nothing is set up for people like Mox, Ospreay or the Bucks. We have CnC vs Pac and Claudio holy carry job needed announced after the show like what are we doing. Then we have the return of Painmaker Jericho (Insert Shaq at the Celtics meme here), This feud as derailed a great year Ciampa was having as well. Overall i am glad AEW is having good PPV's this year because unlike summer 2025 the TV is woefully incosistent."
[4.0] "I was quite disappointed by this show, which began and ended with very underwhelming matches--the opener due to its poor quality, and the main event due to a lack of stakes. The midcard was decent, but nothing special. The Knight/Omega promo was really cool, though I feel Knight is too often slotted in as a challenger between major storylines. There weren't many other interesting angles, although you can sense tension brewing between Okada and Fletcher, while Perry is trying to make his mark on a roster that isn't giving him much breathing room right now. Match quality: 2.5/6.5. Non-match angles and segments: 1.25/3.5. Bonus/penalty: +0.25 for the nice atmosphere. Total: 4/10. Show watched on MyAEW."
[4.0] "Redemption might be the most filler, irrelevant PPV in their cycle and they're doing nothing substantial to change that perception. Why was it shoehorned into the schedule just before All In off all things is beyond comprehension to me. Omega winning the belt was nice but his first challenger and likely only PPV defense being against the latest and greatest generic heel Kevin Knight is super underwhelming and boring. The Bucks part of his celebration segment was nice enough but Ospreay part was incredibly cringe and awful. Just a whole lot of nonsense and doesn't make you feel excited at all for their title match next month. Speaking of cringe, painmaker Jericho is unfortunately back. This run went off the rails really quick but is that much of a surprise considering the dogshit he's been putting in front of us for the past couple of years? Opening tag match was underwhelming, had no suspense or heat. Some decent undercard matches but doesn't really elevate the overall quailty of this show. Birds tag promo was okay but there's not much reason to be invested in because they've been in and out of this tag run too much already and the only reason for their involvement is the cheap hometown victory pop they're gonna get at wembley because british. Main event was painfully dull and underwhelming and you could tell it only happened because it was Mone's hometown however it didn't progress anything and had a deflating and predictable conclusion to the show. Let's just hope All In build is way better than this because this is the most filler shit they've put on this year."
[10.0] "I really enjoyed this show because of the quality of the matches... except for the opener with Cope and Cage vs. the Death Riders, which was the slowest for obvious reasons. I enjoyed the promo involving Kenny Omega, Ospreay, and Knight, and how it wove together various storylines. Great wrestling, storylines were advanced, and a good crowd in a good arena.,"
[6.0] "This episode turned out to be rather forgettable. Among the matches, only the bout between Fletcher and Commander stood out; the rest was quite poor. I did, however, enjoy the segment featuring Kenny Omega and the upcoming contenders."
[10.0] "This show focused on progressing multiple stories while still delivering excellent wrestling. Fletcher vs. Komander was absolutely outstanding and easily one of the best TV matches of the week. The Omega segment did a great job setting up what's next, and I thought the six-woman main event was far better than some people are giving it credit for. That's exactly what a weekly wrestling show should accomplish."
[8.0] "Main event was weak for a show like this but rest of it was good. Matches and post match actions were fun, surprisingly Fletcher vs Komander stole the show, both of them performed really well. Omega segment last long a little bit but still liked it. And crowd was amazing, they made show more enjoyable. If main event was better, I think this show could be even better than last week."
[7.0] "This felt like a transitional show from beginning to end with a lot of story progression and setup, some good matches and decent promos. There was nothing inherently bad about it, but also nothing terribly exciting to look back on in a month or so. The quality of the work lifts this above average."
[9.0] "Fletcher and Komander tore the house down with a masterclass. The two worked brilliantly together. Omega's celebration was very compelling and got me surprisingly interested in a match with Kevin Knight. But the star was the excellent six-woman main event, absolute great action and incredible chemistry from all six. Easy watch. Great show."
[7.0] "Not big on the main event starting in the overrun but this was a good Dynamite, no real complaints here other than wanting a stronger opener (though it did help ffurther the Bucks/C&C and White/Finlay storylines). Fletcher vs Komander was awesome and the other three matches were varying levels of good. Liked the simple setup for Fletcher/Bandido and the Omega/Knight promo was also well done."
[9.0] "A fun show, though as expected a step down from last week's episode. Thought Komander vs Fletcher was excellent, and the main event six woman tag, Darby/Cage and Andrade/Doyle were all a lot of fun. Can definitely understand people feeling a little disappointed in Kevin Knight as a PPV title challenger, but as a big fan of Knight myself I like that he's getting this opportunity in the deep end and I thought he did a good job in his segment tonight as did Kenny. Probably the biggest negative of the night for me was seeing that Jericho-Ciampa will continue. I actually enjoyed their match last week more than I have any Jericho matches in years, but as is unfortunately the norm with his feuds they just have to keep going. If Ciampa beats him again I suppose I'll be ok with it, but I have my doubts that is the way it's going to go. Shout out to the crowd tonight who were great."
[9.0] "I'm absolutely loving this show! Honestly, there wasn't a single bad segment (well... maybe that Chris Jericho one, but we'll just call it a minor speed bump ). The matches were all fantastic, the stories are clicking perfectly, and I'm obsessed with how everything's intertwining--Moxley, Kenny, and Will especially! That web of rivalries is so much fun. I'm also super pumped for the Kenny vs. Kevin match; I think it's gonna slap! Overall, this was a rock-solid 9.5/10."
[6.0] "I'm definitely in a mood about this show. VERY disappointed in Kevin Knight being Kenny's first ppv defense. Yes, yes, it'll be a good match Blah blah. If I'd purchased a ticket to Redemption thinking I was gonna see MJF vs Kenny and then I get this kind of significant downgrade instead, I'm asking for a refund. I'm not even shitting on Kevin Knight, he's just not near that level yet. And dear god, the fucking PAIN MAKER in 2026. Wtf are we even doing. Someone tell Jericho NO for God's sake. And I see it's time for Bandido to eat another big loss after just losing to Bob Holly Moxley. Idk, like I said I'm in a mood. I did like the Kenny/Bucks/Ospreay segment. I thought Ospreay worked hard to sell the match with Kenny and his energy is infectious about Kenny. Which was quite the contrast to the absolute meaningless word vomit of Sensei Moxley earlier. And I thought Kenny and Kevin did fine in their exchange (aside from Kenny calling MJF "Maxob Jacob Friedman" like five times wtf was that). Other than the main event all the matches were very obvious."
[8.0] "Really fun show tonight. Probably my least favorite since Summer Blockbuster but when these two are the worst in a 6 month stretch I am a very happy customer. I'm usually a Brian Cage fan but he's just way too big for his own good now, his bread and butter was being an agile freak of nature but that's gone now since he's come back but Darby is still a perfect opponent for him. Great main event and 3 other really strong matches. Not keen on the Painmaker and thought the Omega segment was a few minutes too long and have a bit of recap fatigue (I watch the shows I don't need constant recaps please stop) but very good overall."
[8.0] "Good crowd, effective recaps and Mox's presence was minimal (all positives). Opener got to an acceptable level once Christian tagged in but I'm not interested in Yuta and Garcia. Pretty basic post match. Fortunately, the episode picked up from here. The trios titles are finally being feuded over and Andrade getting Max's ring was a nice detail that allowed for an efficient post match to a pretty solid bout with Doyle. The world title segment was excellent and Knight had one of his better showings on the mic (still lots of room to grow). Later, Mox and Omega tension continued. Fletcher somehow got the crowd to believe in Kommander, who was excellent as they tore the house down (nice post match too). Brawling birds used their mic time pretty well, Jericho and Ciampa kept it brief and while the Darby match should've been quicker, it wasn't bad. A couple of matches were made for redemption and the main event was mostly good (nice spot for Hyan & Maya too)."
[8.0] "Far far too many recaps, and the womens match starting after the overun started is a real negative to start off here, but overall it was a good show, great in-ring stuff and I did enjoy the promos, but like just, a bit too messy tonight, a tighter show with less recaps would have been ideal."
