[8.0] "It was a solid final SmackDown before No Way Out as that show really looked like it was going to be amazing. Angle's promo at the start of the show was really good where he has a few of his typical goofy moments where he made fun of The Rocks new song (it was pretty terrible to be honest), but at the same time he was a lot more aggressive than usual. There was a couple of good teaser matches for the PPV, especially the main event where there was a great visual with Angle giving Rock an Olympic Slam through a table and then pinning him before locking in the Ankle Lock afterwards. Triple H got his revenge on Austin from Raw when he pedigreed Jim Ross in another really good segment with the zero tolerance still in effect. Stephanie and Trish have a big cat fight with a pretty gross ending where Steph ends up in horse manure. Ivory vs Kat was actually not as bad as I thought it would be as it was actually a really good RTC set up where all of them attack Lawler and lay him out."

[6.0] "This whole episode is a massive final promotional pitch for No Way Out with everything on the show being geared towards that end. The wrestling is again an afterthought, but they set aside enough time for a couple of good taster matches and that makes a positive difference here. All in all it's a pretty entertaining show which does a good job of making you want to see the upcoming PPV."

[7.0] "Angle pokes fun at Rock in the opening segment and is showing a new aggressiveness as everyone is counting him out for the title match at No Way Out. Jr getting pedigreed by Triple H after Austin stunned Stephanie the previous week was perfect revenge. Trish baits Stephanie into the parking lot where she's beaten down and left in horse manure Matches don't get any time this week but angles-wise this was a strong show leading into the PPV so I can't complain too much."
