[5.0] "Terrible undercard with 2 very bad matches from HAVOC members. Then it got a little bit better but even the good main event couldn't really save this show."

[5.0] "Highs were pretty good. Lows were AWFUL. Luckily of the last three matches 2/3 worked, so I'll be generous."

[6.0] "Sekimoto vs Hideki was the highlight of the show as I was not quite as high on the main event as most people seemed to be."

[7.0] "Another great day for the Champion Carnival. You can really tell that All Japan is banking heavily on a strong start to their tournament."

[6.0] "If not for awesome Sekimoto vs. Hideki and good Aoyagi vs. Jun this would have been a one match show as Miyahara & Shiozaki delivered a great main event. Other stuff was decent, nothing bad, but just unimpressive."

[7.0] "Solid card, this has been a pretty decent tournament so far with some great matches. Slightly worse than tag 1"

[6.0] "Tournament action was solid enough (first two matches were a litlte weak, next three matches had their positives and negatives and that main event was outstanding), filler tag matches were just there. Dead crowd certainly hurt Kikuta/Honda, which is a shame because work in that match was pretty good."

[7.0] "This was a good show on the strength of the main event. The undercard was weak but the second half was at least solid. Not as good as the first night, but this show demonstrates that AJPW is trending in the right direction."
