[4.0] "Known as "Baptized in Blood" in its home video release, this card notably featured XPW's first King of the Death Matches tournament, a Japanese-style eight-man tourney with each match under a different stipulation. Admittedly, deathmatch wrestling isn't really my thing, and I'm not exactly fond of XPW to begin with. But some of the tournament matches were pretty good, with a good flow to them through the violence often building up to the big weapon spot at the end. The opening round matches featuring eventual finalists Supreme and Kronus were probably the best of the lot. There's also an ok brawl between Candido and Damien Steele for the XPW Championship, and a surprise appearance and promo from Shane Douglas, which is interesting in the context of the time as both his previous and current employers (ECW and WCW) were entering their end times. There's a few worthwhile points here. Currently available on YouTube, mislabeled as "Baptized in Blood 2. ""
