[8.0] "Today, I did a little trip down to memory lane & watched 2 2009 episodes of SmackDown, the first being this one, and the second one being the one that followed, and gosh, this was a really good weekly episode. Compare to what's going on in the WWE, it's night & day. The episode had good in-ring action for T. V, good headlines (actually great headlines, because, at least they didn't lie about Taker vs Jericho match being their first 1v1), and the stories were very good, with the build of the 3-Way match for the World Title at Survivor Series being the main focus. Taker vs Jericho was a good match but that match was tied up Match of the Night along Ziggler vs Morrison (which I rated ***1/4), Truth vs Punk was decent too, being ***. Overall, I miss those kind of weekly, they were really good, and went to the point, instead of either dragging a feud, or rushing a build for a match. Everything was build week to week, with a logical continuation, like we also saw for the episode that followed."
