[4.0] "I can't give this more than four points, because the balancing act between a cliffhanger and a paywall for the final match feels too forced to me. The first match isn't exactly a revelation either, cause it's too wild and chaotic, whereas the second match featuring the women at least follows a clear structure. And the Battle Royal, with its outcome tied to the other show, is, as I said, borderline."

[3.0] "Pros: ...uhhh 21 man battle royale had some okay spots. Cons: Basically everything else. These zero hour pre-shows are usually pretty wack and the gimmick of bleeding into the main show is just plain silly. Everyone is always so generous to these but they're piss breaks at best and nigh on unwatchable at worst. Eye poke count: 1. Back rake count: 0."

[5.0] "Since Tony Khan likes to fill the pre-show with wrestlers who don't have a spot on the main card, it's not necessary, but I respect his decision to showcase as much of his roster as possible. Amen to anyone who enjoyed the opening match, but it was more of a joke than anything else. Outside of the English-speaking community, we don't know Big Boom AJ, so I'll treat him as just another wrestler. Lena and Willow gave us a decent match, but nothing special, and the battle royal was a chaotic mess worthy of AEW. The beginning dragged on far too long; I don't know if it was intentional, but they had to air the final match on the pay-per-view. Lio Rush, Ciampa, and Komander all had standout performances. I feel like Ricochet's reign was a bit disappointing and didn't deserve to end like that. We'll see what the future holds for Jungle Boy."

The Final match going into the PPV runs over and starts the PPV trend has already played out to a point you know it's going to happen everytime now and it's just silly."

[5.0] "A decent TBS title match, a somewhat rushed battle royal, and a rather pointless comedy tag. The wrestling was alright, but nothing spectacular. No drawn-out discussions outside of the matches, just some cool clips to hype up the main show. Match quality: 2.5/5. Angles and out-of-match segments: 0.25/3. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.75/10. Show viewed on MyAEW."

Apart from story building the TBS match didn't have too much to offer. Then a comedic tag match where the only things I truly remember are the Rizzler getting shoved and Big Boom AJ almost dropping one of the members of The Infantry on their head to finish. Also have to mention the fact that the National title was on zero hour, I sure do hope they don't plan on underselling this title moving into the future."

[6.0] "A pretty standard zero hour with 2 pretty fun matches then a long ass final match but at least it ended with a nice moment. BOOM & DOOM vs STP was another fun match with AJ involved with some nice moments and Big Rizzler framogging Carli Bravo. The TBS title match was a great hoss match with a good post match. The battle royal was kind of dead but at least it ended with a good closing stretch and a nice moment. Overall a solid show but definitely could of been better."

Willow takes a beating, and pulls off a miracle win, but is now weakened for the tag title defense. The Battle Royal was different. Not sure I get Perry winning the National title? Rush would have been my pick."

[5.0] "A fine Zero Hour show before Revolution with a few okay matches. Big Boom AJ & QT Marshall vs Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean: Some slapstick action was fine, Marshall and AJ continue to have tag cohesion against established teams this time against The Infantry [**]. Willow Nightingale vs Lena Kross: There were a few sloppy moments with not the best match either could have showcased, the action was overall at least watchable, Willow retaining was kind of obvious [**1/4]. 21 Man Blackjack Battle Royal: The match started on the ringside floor that took some time to get anything in ring, there were wrestlers in this one that would have otherwise have been left of the PPV which was fine to see, the final sequence that started on the main show was the highlight, Jack Perry winning was good to see though [***]"
