[5.0] "This was awful in a different way, whoever's idea it was to film it in a tiny studio with barely a hundred people in attendance should be fired, this presentation is extremely barebones."
[4.0] "For a new era of ROH, the show felt exactly the same as it has been presented for quite some now under Tony Khan in being arguably the least important weekly show put out by a major company currently. The main difference was the show being taped in a studio with a pretty small attendance as opposed to being at the end of AEW tapings where a good portion of the crowd had left. Eleven matches where the best ones felt solid but never felt like they entered into another gear. Zero ROH titles represented in any match on this show (Shane Taylor as one of the three trios champions in the Four Corner Survival) of the eight tiles that they have, three of which have gone undefended since Final Battle three months ago (World Title, Women's Title, Trios Title) while Nick Wayne has now passed six months since the last airdate of his last TV title match. The show feels lesser than the sum of its parts despite the efforts of the wrestlers involved with wrestling for the sake of wrestling being the selling point with quantity over quality rather than attempting to do anything more with it. If this was supposed to be the beginning of a different era of ROH, it did not deliver on that promise feeling the same but in a smaller setup."
[6.0] "What's better than one hour of filler matches? Two hours of filler matches, apparently. Some of the matches were good, especially Top Flights vs GYV and the mein event (before the title match), and that's why I'm giving this show a 6. But there are just way too many fillers. And seriously: where the hell are all the ROH Champions?"
[7.0] "This was a fun taping and an encouraging step in the right direction for ROH after it was kind of neglected by Tony. Had a good time watching this"
[6.0] "Tony Khan has changed up how Ring of Honor TV is handled, batch taping at a TV studio in Jacksonville instead of before AEW events. This first episode shows that ROH is still focused on quantity of matches over quality, but Workhorsemen vs Priest/Billington, MxM vs Bang Bang Gang and the Four Corner Survival Match + following title match were worth watching."
