[4.0] "Two interesting opening matches, a decent Speed match, and a disappointing main event. Furthermore, the angles and segments were truly low quality. The main takeaway was the overarching storyline used to justify a cage match for the North American title the following week, which felt very weak. Match quality: 2.25/5. Angles and segments outside of matches: 0.25/3. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.5/10. Watched on Netflix (FR)."
[7.0] "Considering we basically have another PLE in Texas, this felt more like a transitional episode. There were some interesting developments (Page&Saints, the Birthright), some genuinely entertaining segments (Shiloh Hill) and even a solid women's match. Overall a solid episode, as is usually the case with NXT"
[4.0] "This is a show that happened. Forgettable matches. Forgettable promos. Nothing angles. A roster that's somewhat new and already feels stale. A never ending women's world title reign. A faction that's dead on arrival. Ethan Page was there. Ricky Starks and Stephanie Vaquer's boyfriend fought. It sucked. NXT is just awfu"
[5.0] "A filler episode post-PLE with few significant developments. I didn't like the triple threat match at all, neither the build-up nor the finish. Speed tournaments still don't convince me, and the main event was blatant filler. I like the "Nepo babies" faction, but I think they could still get lost on the roster. The only interesting things were the interactions between Ethan Page and Ricky Saints and the notable match between Sol Ruca and Lainey Reid. We'll see what next week and Stand & Deliver have in store for us."

[7.0] "Overall, we got another good episode from NXT. Almost every match was intresting, Tony D have a fine promo about his future, Tatum and Izzi continued their rivalry with some fun, Charlie Dempsy made his choice and now he in The Birth Right with helping from the legends. Road to Stand and Deliver starts really good and the next episode will be special."
[8.0] "I thought this week's episode of NXT was, once again, a very fun one. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the "best" wrestling show on TV? Probably not. The most consistently entertaining one? Definitely, and it's not particularly close honestly. But in terms of great in-ring wrestling, we had the men's triple threat where Eli Knight (YEAH) and Sean Legacy both showed out as usual, a few moments of sloppiness from Jasper Troy but it kind of worked in terms of the story they were telling throughout the match - and some kind of programme is clearly being set up between him and Keanu Carver (look out, Booker! ). The women's matches were also great, with the excellent Lainey Reid and Sol Ruca really delivering and Wren Sinclair getting a much-needed win (and hopefully set for a real push now, at last). Finally the main event was fun and continued the story of Ricky and Ethan well. In terms of other story progression, we had Tatum and Izzi hopefully coming close to finally settling the score and a title feud with Tatum and Blake teased, and the Birthright being joined by Fit Finlay and Regal - I already liked that group but that should give them some extra buzz. Fun show all round, again."
[6.0] "Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame segment to open the show was actually well delivered can't wait for a rematch down the road with both delivering solid promos. Tony D'Angelo promo was solid as he spoke about going for the NXT Championship. Eli Knight vs Sean Legacy vs Jasper Troy: An interesting choice to have both Knight and Legacy as the winners in this triple threat match, Keanu Carver coming out and attacking Troy was intriguing and hope they have a match possibly at Stand and Deliver, Troy did get some offense in, an interesting opening match, while Troy was down Legacy and Knight had a decent offense exchange [***1/4]. Lexis King & Uriah Connors vs Charlie Dempsey & Tavion Heights: It was a short ish timed match that had a betrayal with Dempsey betraying his own partner Heights, the match was okay for the time they had [**]. Sol Ruca vs Lainey Reid: This was one of the best singles matches of Reid's career so far, Ruca gained momentum ahead of challenging for the NXT Women's Title next week, solid action [***1/4]. Wren Sinclair vs Thea Hail: A quick Speed Rules match that was there to decide who will challenge for the Speed Women's Title next week [*1/4]. Ethan Page & Ricky Saints vs Joe Hendry & Myles Borne: The outcome of the NXT & NXT NA Champions losing was an interesting decision, the match was fine enough [***1/4]"
[7.0] "A solid episode of NXT, we got a fun Triple Threat Match, Tony D'Angelo hinted to Joe Hendry he's now done with DarkState and will be coming for the NXT World Title. Birthright has officially added the final piece with Charlie Dempsey uniting with them, as he turned on his long-time friend Tavion Heights, as Fit Finley & William Regal looked on. Sol Ruca and Lainey Reid had easily one of the best matches in the recent week of WWE. Wren Sinclair and Fallon Henley will battle for the WWE Women's Speed Title as Wren Sinclair earned a huge opportunity after taking down Thea Hail. In the main event, we see a picture of Ethan Page also inserting himself into the NXT Title Picture, chasing Joe Hendry. But this was a solid episode. Next week is a major episode in Houston, Texas, so I'm excited to see what NXT cooks up next week."
[7.0] "Solid matches. Lot of plot development like Charlie Dempsey joining the Birthright along with an always welcome William Regal (and Finlay! ) sighting, not to mention Tony D declaring his desire for the NXT Championship as well as fun stuff like Kendal inexplicably stuffing her face with cake all adds up to another solid episode of NXT."
[7.0] "With Vengeance Day finished, NXT pushed forward towards Stand And Deliver which is now less than a month away while also giving some more attraction to the following week's show in Houston. Some enjoyable wrestling on the show with a very enjoyable match between Lainey Reid and Sol Ruca particularly being the match of the night. The opening match and main event were both enjoyable as well. Some effective developments in feuds. The Tag Team Division is on full display in NXT in a way that is more effectively showcased than on any other brand in WWE while the women continue to thrive in NXT as well."
[9.0] "I really loved this episode of NXT. The in-ring was solid to great (sol vs lainey was amazing) and the backstage segments had a 2023 vibe that was so nice."
