How is it possible to be the biggest wrestling promotion in the world and show so little respect for your fans ? How can you deliver something so unfinished, so rushed, and still be satisfied with it ? How is it possible to give us so little actual wrestling in the end ? How can a show and a rivalry be written this poorly ? Honestly, it feels like just about anyone could do better than what WWE is producing right now. I've been loyal to the product, but I'm seriously considering looking elsewhere."

It's almost as if WWE themselves can't wait to get past this show either. Nothing feels big or important. Nothing being setup feels must see. Drew vs Jacob won't even have a drop of blood watch."

[3.0] "Watching this shit after a lot of days. In fact watching this after I watched RAW yesterday cause I genuinely had 0 interest in watching this show. Just watching to keep up with the content so I don't get confused at mania. It does not feel like we're on the road to WrestleMania ... horrid filler matches with cringe-worthy backstage segments and a really try-hard Randy trying to lock into his old self against a boosted mid-card jobber like Cody is really not doing it for me. Brock vs Oba should have realistically been the main event for Night 1, but ofc Coddeeeh will main event again cause he's the "undisputed" WWE champ. His long walk during the main event segment like he's Goldberg made me want me take my eyeballs out. Make it make sense, is Randy invincible or can Stardust genuinely beat him up? This stuff is genuinely horrible. They even dropped the US title off of Carmelo. Blegh."

[4.0] "It was alright, there's many things on here that feel particularly flat. It feels really great to see Guilia get a win over somebody and seeing Jelly Roll put in the work for a match is one of those moments where you get randomly super invested. Sami v Carmelo was fantastic but I sympathize with how upset people are for Carmelo going from workhorse to potentially off Wrestlemania. I don't think we're out of the woods just yet and who knows, Sami v Trick v Carmelo at Mania would be an absolute banger. Randy as a heel is always well-known as being vicious and sadistic and people love it about him. Something about this Randy doesn't feel like it has that same Venom apart from him kicking the crap out of Cody at the contract signing. Yes he seems wily and dangerous but it doesn't feel quite at the level that WWE is trying to express he is at. More dangerous that '09? Definitely not, but there's still time and I really want to hear who he's talking to. Rhea vs Jade has also started to pick up a bit with the surprise of B-fab and Michin aligning with her as some bodies for Rhea to overcome. It adds a layer to this feud that just Jade on her own didn't feel like it was pushing through to people. Still not the most anticipated Wrestlemania match but now there's something to chew on for longer. Not the best episode with not a whole lot of new developments apart from Sami and Trick but there's some decent bits to it."

I hope the switch on the US Title is to give it to Trick and then start a feud with Mello. Orton being so ruthless is great, but ironically Cody showing up kind of killed the emotional peak because in the end it just turned into a simple brawl (hitting an RKO on JR can't be the emotional high point of the episode)"

[3.0] "It's impossible that the most exciting thing about this SmackDown was seeing Jelly Roll being compared to Dominick Mysterio. An unbearable, bland, and disappointing show that offers no hope for WrestleMania. Randy continues with the cheap excuse about his voices, defeats Matt Cardona, who was well-established in TNA but adrift in WWE, in six minutes, and the only good thing he does is destroy Cody Rhodes again. There isn't a single match or segment worth mentioning because it was mediocre the entire time. Sami and Carmelo did something good, but the result ruins it all. What was the point of having Sami and Trick Williams orbiting toward WrestleMania for the United States Championship when you've kept them out the whole time? I'm not saying they'll be in title contention, but you can't leave Carmelo and Ilja out of WrestleMania, especially with a result, a victory that isn't clean. What a damn point. Giulia is becoming like Nakamura; He doesn't connect with anyone on a public level and has no chemistry with any of the wrestlers. Most likely, once he loses the title, he'll become irrelevant again. Watch this show in recap or podcast mode, because giving this garbage your full attention isn't worth it."

As usual, Carmelo saved the show, though Sami should NOT have won that match. Not the worst episode ever, but a poor episode that shows why WWE needs a serious shakeup in 2026."

[4.0] "The wrestling quality was mediocre, even shameful, except for the Zayn vs. Hayes match. The angles were also very disappointing, with a long, uninteresting brawl, an equally shallow Cargill/Ripley confrontation, and poorly written segments. The only redeeming features were the beginning of the show, Randy's obvious teasing of someone's arrival, and Zayn's words, which had consequences later on. Match quality: 2/5. Angles and off-match segments: 0.75/3. Bonus/penalty: This episode was unworthy of the road to WrestleMania - 0.5. Total: 4.25/10. Watched on Netflix (FR)."

Rhea vs Jade pheud developed in a very standart way, Cody Rhodes returns on this show and his fight with Randy was too long. Overall, I don't think that it was one of the worst episodes, but just a not good. SmackDown can doing better."
[0.0] "Wow that was... something. The only good match here had a 0/10 result. this isn't the first time a hard working talent has been snubbed off WrestleMania for the sake of Sami Zayn. His whole character was about winning the world title just for him to win another mid card title...? The smackdown women's division is an embarrassment apart from 2-3 wrestlers. Rhea Ripley doesn't deserve to be feuding with 3 terrible wrestlers, if Jade doesn't lose at Wrestlemania I may stop watching some of Smackdown entirely. It's just become so unwatchable. She can't cut a promo. Everything else on here was terrible too. IMO, the worst smackdown since the Vince regime, and that's bad when you're 3 weeks away from WrestleMania."

[1.0] "The night starts off with a Heel randy who's cheered by 100% of the crowd, who's interrupted by Matt Cardona who punches him in the face.... and end of segment, WHO WRITES THIS? I then have to watch, on my screen, the fucking Bella Twins who will NEVER wrestle an even half-good match. We get a four way faceoff, it's obvious at Mania we're seeing a fatal 4 way tag match for the women's tag championships between CharLexa, the Bellas for some reason, Nia Jax and Legend, and Bayley/Valkyria. Can't wait for this to go 10 minutes just for the Bellas to win the titles over three tag teams who actually deserve it. Next is a Jade Cargill Ripley segment, we get a poor explanation as to why B-Fab and Michin joined their rival Jade Cargill, just to get a 53 second match that ended in a DQ, again WHO WRITES THIS? I then have to watch Jelly Roll on my screen wrestle a bad match against Kit Wilson. This is early 2011 RAW bad... Also why are we getting 3 minute recaps of previous weeks of what happened on RAW on this show, this is time that can be allocated to your 5 minute matches, or don't need to be here on this THREE HOUR SHOW! The only thing that was passable on this show, that saves it from being a zero was the US title match, the match was good, and sets up Zayn vs Williams vs Hayes at Mania, which should be a great match, but it really should just be Hayes vs Dragunov in a one last time grudge match. Either way, match was good, and I'm sure the Mania match will also be great. Sami with another mid card title reign because he just is not a main eventer in WWE's eyes. The Drew Fatu segment was a waste of time, the two were better off not being on the show at all just to add time to the matches, the stipulation could've simply been announced, last weeks fight segments sufficed enough reasoning for an unsanctioned match. Giulia vs Stratton was terrible, this show is so tough to get through. I can't believe how much of an afterthought Giulia is on this show. Perhaps the only thing of interest are the Orton phone call segments, which hopefully leads to a big reveal, could it be Dwayne? Possibly, not like this company makes me care in all honesty. We get Orton vs Cardona in the main event which was ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT. But that's not the final segment, instead Cody shows up in his bus with 10 minutes left in the show, (which makes perfect sense btw right, Cody who is just betrayed by a man he considered his brother, shows up an hour and a half late to confront said person, braindead creative) for the WORST BRAWL I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE, THE SECURITY..... THE SECURITY.... WERE HUGGING RANDY AND CODY, whoever hired these people need to be fired, there was zero agression, Randy and Cody looked like they were afraid to hit each other, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THIS. And this goes on FOREEEEVEERRR, it does, not, stop. And the kicker, the big moment.... Randy RKO's Jelly Roll, FUCKING JELLY ROLL. We are TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM MANIA, and you're telling me THAT was the best you had, FUCK THIS SHOW. 1/10, poor wrestling (except for Melo Sami), awful promos, TERRIBLE main event segment. PAUL LEVESQUE, what are we doing"

For there to have been a creative shake-up recently to up the product, it sure seems like absolutely nothing has changed. Oh and the segments are all terrible to except ig the danhausen one was mediocre. Incredibly boring, uneventful, and mentally taxing with literally 0 payoff. I don't mind if a match have a distraction finish to further a story but in this episode there were one in 4 out of 6 matches. I think sami winning the title that way could be a good idea considering his moral doubts story, and it probably will lead anyway to a multi-man match. The two angle for the main titles weren't that great but nothing awful."

[0.0] "They have to be doing this on purpose, surely human beings can't book shows this bad this often by accident? This is legitimately one of the worst shows they've ever put on. 5 of the 6 matches were either inconsequential to the point they were barely even matches or utterly horrific and the one that wasn't still wasn't anything special given the talent involved and had a result that has annoyed a lot of people. Genuinely can't believe how bad Tiffany/Giulia was, both women have fallen off to a spectacular degree. Danhausen is still entertaining but he's going to get old really quick if they keep using his 'curse' as much as they are, feel like they've already done it as often as AEW did in his whole time there. There were some absolutely god awful segments on this show, some coming from women who just deserve better writing (and the Bellas just shouldn't be in the position they are) but plenty from the men too, the most lifeless, boring brawl of all time between Orton and Cody, and R-Truth being surprisingly unfunny backstage. Randy Orton is still being cheered like a massive babyface in another massive booking failure, not to mention both he and Cody were made to look like shit by Cardona (Orton had to sell for him and Cody took longer to recover than him), we had 2 bastard Raw recaps, loads of filler and ads and multiple appearances from fucking Jelly Roll as it became abundantly clear they didn't have anywhere near enough to fill 3 hours or any clue what they're doing. Just an absolute disaster of a show, the first hour is the worst of a WWE show I've seen since Vince and a show with more legitimately awful matches than any show I can remember for a long time. This would be a tragic show in late December when they pretty openly don't try, but 3 weeks out from WrestleMania? Fucking hell. 0 out of 10."

She hasn't improved in any discernable way. She hasn't gotten worse because she couldn't possibly get any worse unless she starts intentionally injuring people. I seriously don't know how anyone can sit through 3 hours of this live. When it's not commercials it's some of the consistently worst in ring action I've seen in 25 years and that's not hyperbole."

"This is without a doubt the worst episode of Smackdown I've ever seen. The matches were stupid, Jelly Roll was the vocal point of the show. Cody and Randy's brawl was stupid and felt forced. Jade and her group being booed to death while Rhea half sounds like CM Punk was alright but the match was 50 seconds. The Bella Twins and Carmelo lost in the same way and both time it was stupid. Carmelo has been the best champion of the entire WWE and he loses to Sami Zayn by interference. Jelly Roll vs Kit Wilson was the worst match I've seen in a while and the only good part was the "Jelly to Belly" line. I forgot Gilua and Tiffy even had a match which shows how bad that was. Randy and Matt is so stupid. Why is Randy fighting some mid carder when Cody has been doing a Roman and not showing up. The only good part was R-Truth saying Jelly looks like Dom but why the hell is Jelly everywhere. TKO has ruined the WWE and all it cares about it money. Smackdown is far in away worse than Raw which is saying something because Raw isn't the best it's ever been. It's been a bad time for the WWE and Triple H needs to start getting good at booking or I don't know how much longer he should be in charge"

With most segments prolonging feuds/builds none of them really standing out or being meh. "[0] Smackdown once again proved how subpar and uninteresting the show is. I literally can't mention any redeeming qualities about this show. I didn't comment about the last 2 shows since I thought they completely didn't offer anything at all to talk about, but last night's show was so egregiously bad and just outright low effort that I had to talk about it. There is really no need to watch this show. I don't even suggest checking the show's highlights. You can maybe make an exception for the Carmelo match, as he is always the bright spot in this show. How does WWE justify giving us not only last night's show, but also this build for WrestleMania, especially on SmackDown, with 3 weeks to go? Randy opens the show with the same verbiage about him hearing voices in his head, and the Matt Cardona situation, which escalated in the ring for a 2nd week in a row. I really don't know what purpose the inclusion of Matt Cardona serves in the Cody vs Randy title feud, which really needs some momentum, apart from building Randy as a heel, I guess, which is completely failing. I don't care at all for the Women's Tag Division now with Lash Legend and Nia Jax as champions, and the tag match that opened the show. It's baffling to me how much the Women's Tag Division has deteriorated in quality of teams and matches since Rhea and Io lost those titles. Cargill and Rhea's build continues to be bland and tedious, with generic promos, as it once again didn't add any layers to their title match program for WM. Rhea's "match" with B-Fab ended in a DQ in less than a minute, expectedly, as she was attacked by Cargill and her 2 other assistants. WWE's Women's World Title matches really don't have that much effort put into them, especially the one on Smackdown. Jelly Roll wins against Kit Wilson. Nothing followed it afterwards, and that was literally it. A tag team match between them with Danhausen and The Miz is expected, but Gunther, Io, and, as of now, Carmelo are out of WM without a program with 3 weeks to go. Great. Sami vs Carmelo was, as expected with both guys, a really good match and with how they were portraying Sami as desperate to find his spot for WM by challenging Carmelo's US title open challenge, the result was also expected. The focus was mainly on Sami and Williams and their feud, as Carmelo was the third wheel in all of this. They could very well have done the match with Sami and Trick at WM as it is, but for some reason, it needed a title on the line, and Trick was awarded the spot at WM without an opponent by Nick Aldis prior to the match when Sami Zayn was right there the whole freaking time. He just had to win the title for this match to happen in WWE's eyes, in order to get a WM spot and a match against Trick that he wanted all along, right? While they could've easily done the match without the title, and actually have Carmelo, who is one of the very few bright spots on the show by giving us great matches each week, in a match against Dragunov for the title. They could have easily saved their match on Smackdown last week for WM and let these guys go after giving them a build for WM, which both of them deserve, or even have Trick challenge for it at WM. Even if they were to do Carmelo vs Dragunov at WM, that match definitely needed the US title, and Carmelo deserved to walk at WM as champion. Decent promo from Fatu later, which was filled with 'what' chants and didn't add anything new to this feud, nor did McIntyre when he came out. Nick Aldis announced an unsanctioned match, which I don't mind at all and mostly fits the type of feud these guys have. I just expected the Hell in a Cell stipulation for them, as it fitted that feud a bit better, and it'd finish what was going on for months between them, but I'm not complaining. Their match, hopefully, is going to be brutal at WM. Giulia vs Tiffany, didn't care as they don't give me a reason at all to care about her or the women's US title, which has been completely and utterly ignored. Orton vs Cardona main event match was subpar and was mostly there to showcase this new 'vicious' version of Orton and that he only intended to inflict pain in this match, which has failed to do so. Orton wins, and as soon after, Cody arrives in the arena, and the show goes immediately to a 3-minute commercial. I'm a foreign viewer, and I get to watch the show without the ads, and it was literally 3 entire minutes of Orton sitting right there and looking at Cody slowly making his way into the ring. What followed was one of the most lukewarm and least aggressive brawls I have ever seen for what is supposed to be a feud full of bloodshed and revenge. One of the worst brawls I have ever seen, if not the worst and a super underwhelming way to end the show. It was so lame and slow, and they were both pulled apart constantly by security and officials. The little physical altercation they had had no intensity between them, and Cody didn't follow up at all on the malicious attack that Orton had given to him 2 weeks ago. No intensity, no blood, nothing really physical occurred at all and on top of that, Jelly Roll had to get involved in here just like literally every single other thing on this show. 3 weeks to go with this feud, and WWE decides to have fucking Jelly Roll and Matt Cardona involved, but not have any of Orton's and Cody's history explored at all. I'm seriously dumbfounded with this shit, as they have prolonged the build for WM, only to not take advantage of that at all and not tell any sort of story between their main event world title matches. They don't tell any stories at all, even though both matches have adequate history in order to tell a story, but WWE is too lazy to do that and instead relies on star power to sell these matches. This show absolutely sucked on all levels, storytelling and in-ring. Genuinely, might only tune in for the go-home show for Smackdown since this show barely even deserves to be watched through highlights."

There are guys sitting in catering that actually wrestle and have to sit aside for these pointless names. Triple H doesn't care about the fans and is doing it his way but, these high prices, worthless storylines of the same people over and over and not getting over. The only thing good about Smackdown was Drew McIntyre. The closing brawling angle with Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes was fine although it did feel underwhelming, repetitive, and long. R-Truth was funny in his backstage segment with Damian Priest, Jelly Roll, and Rhea Ripley backstage. Everything else on this show ranged from Mid to shitty. I give this sucky Smackdown show a 4 out of 10."

Fatu/Drew was made official while they are still bridging the gap to Wrestlemania (which still feels like there is a bit too much time to get there.) The Bellas are already being a total pain in the ass again, and Cargill has surrounded herself with B-Fab and Michin, who'll probably have to take some beatings from Ripley before Wrestlemania. The timing in the verbal exchange is terrible, and the match is practically nonexistent. Then Sami gets his belt back. I would have saved that moment for Wrestlemania, to be honest. Giulia beats Stratton in a match that's weak at best, and Orton takes Cardona apart yet again. And as if that wasn't enough, Jelly Roll gets his comeuppance too. I mean, I'm all for Randy, but this episode really isn't good enough."

[3.0] "Looks like we got our new worst show of the year (first time i've said that in about 3 weeks, which is not a good thing to consistently have these types of shows) Randy & Matt's segment was decent-ish I guess, all it did was make the main event official. Bella Twins vs Charlexa was watchable I guess, very sloppy though, looks like we'll get a 4 way tag at mania considering the events that happened afterwards. Rhea & Jade's faction arguing was the worst segment of 2026 by far, all of them were talking over each other and literally nobody had chemistry on the mic, the match afterward was a huge waste of time too. I tried liking Jelly Roll vs Kit Wilson but that was just very boring, Jelly Roll had some good moments, but the entire match was very boring. Sami vs Carmelo was a fun match, but I do feel a little bad for Carmelo considering he's earned his Mania spot just to give it to Sami Zayn, I like Sami but I do wish this was handled better. Jacob & Drew's segment was good in my opinion, liked the decision of the Unsanctioned match, will be very fun to watch. Giulia vs Tiffany was decent, but it's pretty obvious that Tiffany's winning the belt soon, which sucks for Giulia considering she's a great worker. Randy vs Matt and the brawl with Cody afterward was a big waste of time, 6 minutes of Randy destroying Matt and 8 minutes of Randy & Cody vs security guards. Overall, horribly booked and executed show, worst of the year in my opinion."

The only decent match was the US Title match, and even that ended with a terrible decision. Zayn is 41 years old, and if he still can't make it to WrestleMania, they seriously need to stop forcing it. At some point, you have to accept that it's just not working. The rest of the card was either pointless, poorly booked, or completely forgettable. No stakes, no logic, no reason to care. This isn't just a bad episode this is a serious downfall. Creative feels completely lost right now. Honestly, not even AI could come up with something this dull and poorly structured."

"Great show with an awesome segment between Randy and Cody. Jelly Roll and Kit Wilson are very fun to watch and the match between Sami and Carmelo its awesome. I didn't expect at this result but i'm happy beacouse Sami and Trick are 2 stars bigger than Carmello. Its a plus for Mania. This show was much better than last week Smackdown"

[3.0] "Once again, SmackDown falls into mediocrity. The opening segment is pointless; it's practically the same promo as last week. The Trick/Zayn backstage segment is the best backstage segment of the show. Making Trick's participation in WrestleMania official and telling Sammy that they're prioritizing title matches, and therefore won't be able to go to WrestleMania, are good. Bellas/Charlexa was better than the main event of last SmackDown, but it's still very average. The in-ring action was basic. The finish makes no sense. Why is Lash helping the Bellas win when they're also feuding with her? The fourth promo between Cargill and Rhea is, once again, very average. B-Fab/Rhea: the commercial during the match lasted longer than what we saw after the commercial break. This feud is uninteresting. Jelly/Wilson: viral moment. I was expecting worse in the ring, but frankly, it's embarrassing to see. A shout-out to Wilson's cool finish. Letting a celebrity beat a wrestler is outrageous. Zayn/Melo was excellent. Zayn was very smart: accepting the open challenge for a chance to be at WrestleMania. Nothing to say about their in-ring work yet. The strikes were impactful, and Melo continues to impress. The finish was also excellent, with Zayn using Williams to beat Melo and win the title. Melo was protected, Zayn won by cheating (which is interesting) and thanks to Williams. With this controversy, Melo will be in the match at WrestleMania. Despite the lack of history, Melo had a very good reign with many very good matches. The promo between Fatu and Drew was very cool. They both played up their injury from last week's brawl well. It's incredible to hear "WHAT" chants directed at a wrestler who's so good on the mic. I'm really looking forward to the unsanctioned match, especially since it fits perfectly with the feud. Tiffy/Giulia was okay. The two botches at the beginning of the match were glaring. The rest was much better. One of the few decent matches on this show. Cardona/Orton, from a storytelling perspective, was good, but from an in-ring perspective, it was bad. Orton attacking Cardona's arm was a good way to show once again that Orton isn't the same anymore. But there was no in-ring action. It should have been a segment. The Cody/Orton segment was random. There was nothing there, and on top of that, it was long. Thankfully, RAW is there."

"I haven't expected anything good from WWE for a while now, but last night's SmackDown was completely underwhelming. The only positive from this week was the Carmelo vs. Sami match--a truly great match, although Carmelo losing the title to Sami makes absolutely no sense. The women's tag team match was embarrassing; Ripley vs. B-Fab--oh my, how embarrassing is this feud; Jelly Roll vs. Kit Wilson--I didn't expect much here, so I'll leave that match without comment. Gulia vs. Tiffany--I honestly don't know what WWE's plan is. Is Gulia getting a push at Tiffany's expense? Orton vs. Matt--that match was probably a brawl, but the Orton vs. Cody brawl was a plus. 3/10"

"1/10 Very very bad episode of Smackdown. Freakin Jelly Roll being the focal point in Randy v Cody rivalry is unacceptable, especially when we know how much history they have together which can help to build up to Mania. How the f can you strip the title of Carmelo before WM when he literally was one of the best things on SD for months carrying midcard and having bangers every week just to give the title to Sami Hogan. It's been a hate watch from the beginning since we got the spoiler before the show and it even got worse (what a surprise). I truly believe that WWE thinks they are doing a good job and are living in this bubble where everything is going great, which is the complete opposite, and this Smackdown is a prime example of them scraping the bottom. Can it get worse? It can"

I thought the matchmaking was very piss-poor, and with Road Dogg gone, it seems like the show has regressed a lot outside of Carmelo Hayes, Randy Orton, Trick Williams, and the Women's Tag Division. This show is very unwatchable because the roster is outdated only salvage thing to do is a WWE Draft."

Questionable booking decisions, Bella twins, Jade and Rhea's feud being a mess, Tiffany and Giulia having a bad night, What chants for Jacob Fatu, Jelly Roll being in every segment, Cody Rhodes walking for 3 minutes and just a very silly angle to close out the show."

Sami and Melo had a good match with each other of course because they are good workers but the booking was so shite and nonsensical that it doesn't even add anything to the show. I complete and total waste of three hours, I feel as if it took me a year to watch. The highlight of the show was during the final ad break a guy walked out of a bathroom as Cody walked past and was like "woah it stinks in there I just took a huge dump." Fortunately, the man had naught to fear as Triple H took an even larger and smellier dump, and he did not even have the grace nor dignity to contain it to the lavatory."

I tend to have some free time Saturday morning so it works for me, where as I've been skipping Raw. Usually I enjoy Smackdown more than most people seem to. It's usually an OK show which doesn't need to be 3 hours. This week was simply not good enough though. We're only a few weeks out from Mania. It all feels so pedestrian. Jelly Roll was all over this show. Orton is the top babyface. I do feel bad for Melo but the Trick/Zayn build is going quite well. Fatu/McIntyre is good too. Unsanctioned match fits. The women's tag titles build is bland. The women's US title build is bland. I like Michin & B-Fab joining up with Jade but that promo was awkward."

You could tell they don't care anymore. The only highlight in this show was Sami vs. Melo. Everything else just ranges from horrible to mediocre. Big negatives is the lack of meaningful developments, The Women's Tag division, Orton and Cardona's story, The focus on JELLYROLL, The Bella Twins, Rhea and Jade's feud, Giulia v. Tiff and a poor main event and closer. Overall, this was just FUCKING horrible."
