[9.0] "WrestleCon puts on a better show then last year's nightmare. Ignoring the opener the show was near perfect in my book. Mark Davis vs. Bandido vs Galeno Del Msl was my match of the night. Sgt. Slaughter was the host and he was doing some type of fitness test in a really weird segment."

[5.0] "While the show was satisfactory, it was also the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Show I felt had the least hype in years... Nothing felt memorable with the exception of Galeno vs. Bandido which was great fun."

[6.0] "The Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow is always a mixed bag but thankfully this year it swung on the more positive side of the spectrum. The only match was genuinely bad was the opener which never really felt like it was supposed to be anything more than what it was as opposed to last year's dumpster fires. Everything else felt like the celebration of professional that it is supposed to be with the highlights being the four way elimination tag match, The Swirl vs SubCulture and Bandido vs Galeno Del Mal. The other cameos were weird, it was kind of cool to see Teddy Long but he was done pretty quick and the Sgt Slaughter Wrestlecon plug was obviously patriotic in a time when people probably don't want to chat "USA" and he didn't fully seem to be about his wits to say the least. Perhaps the show would've been even better if TNA wanted to play ball with the real cool kids but I guess we'll never know"

[7.0] "A great card with a couple fun surprises and lots of good matches. The Swoggle switch out for Mosh was really fun and made for a great opening match. Love & Peace winning the tag team elimination was unexpected and the crowd was loving them. Davis vs Tanaka was a hard hitting fight and one of the better matches of the night. The Swirl vs Subculture was really entertaining as well. The 10 person tag match went on far too long and drug the energy down for a bit, however, Bandido was able to bring it back up pretty quickly vs Galeno Del Mal. The DeReiss vs Allen match was a surprise as well and was a solid bought for being thrown in. The main event was fantastic with lots of spots and back and forth moments. One of the better shows, if not the best show, of the Collective to this point."

[9.0] "Definitely better than last years Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow, with quite a few good to great matches, Teddy Long and Sgt Slaughter making an appearance was good to see. Headbanger Swoggle & Thrasher vs Heath & Rhino: A fun match to get the show started this year, Swoggle subbing in for Mosh who is injured was an interesting choice, the match had some fun moments and got the crowd warmed up for the rest of the show [***1/4]. Ben-K & Hyo vs Latigo & Toxin vs Starboy Charlie & Starman vs Danny Black & Joe Lando: A good showcase of tag team wrestling here with four teams whos styles meshed well and put on a solid showing, Ben-K and Hyo winning was good to see [***3/4]. Mark Davis vs Masato Tanaka: A solid match that had some decent in ring moments and outside action with Davis getting the win which was okay to see, they could have gone 10 more minutes and I would not have complained [**3/4]. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson vs Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews: A really well contested tag match, The Swirl hit a Meltzer Driver which was interesting to see, Subculture had a good showing even in defeat [***3/4]. Danny Jones, Derek Dillinger, Jimmy Townsend, Lacey Lane & The Beast Mortos vs Gravity, LJ Cleary, Mance Warner, Steph De Lander & Vertigo: An interesting mix of styles and wrestlers involved which made this an interesting and solid multi person tag match, a variety of solid moments [****]. Bandido vs Galeno Del Mal: Bandido showed that he is one of the best lucha wrestlers whilst displaying power which made for an interesting watch, Galeno held his own even in defeat [****]. Man Like DeReiss vs Ethan Allen: For a bonus match it was fine to see, Allen had a fine showing but DeReiss proved why he is the PROGRESS World champion [***1/4]. Bishop Kaun, Ricochet & Toa Liona vs Kevin Knight, Michael Oku & Mike Bailey: My personal favourite match of the show, they had a great match, a variety of standout exchanges and moments, probably would have enjoyed the originally booked Ricochet vs Leon Slater just as much but thank goodness we got this as a replacement match [****1/2]"
