[6.0] "It did its job without really standing out compared to most of AEW's 2025 pre shows, this felt a step down in consistency and purpose. Overall it was an easy watch and mostly inoffensive, just not one that added much excitement or momentum heading into the PPV."
[6.0] "A bog standard pre show with 4 matches ranging from pretty average to some good fun with some nice talking segments in between them and some nice video packages played throughout including a tease for El Clon finally debuting which is good. I will say the best part was getting to see some different talent get the spotlight on the pre show for once and taking their chance well. Overall a solid show nothing to write home about."
[4.0] "Short and unremarkable matches. Only Ortiz's return seemed truly interesting to me, which isn't much in an hour. In-ring quality: 2/5. Angles and out-of-match segments: 0.5/3. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.5/10. Show watched on the AEW YouTube channel."
[7.0] "IDK why I always want to rate these higher than most people. I thought these were a lot of fun! Yeah, they were short, but It's a pretty good quick little show if you go back and rewatch (and skip the video packages for the PPV). Tons of great talent on the Zero Hour - Bandido, Eddie, Jurassic Express, JetSpeed, Mark Davis, Mascara Dorada, Ricochet, Skye Blue, GOA... I was entertained!"
[6.0] "A slightly drab and boring zero-hour that didn't really tell any stories, but rather one where Tony realised everyone here couldn't fit on the card and just decided to shove them together. Some of the work was pretty good and it was cool to see Hyan World in action."
[6.0] "Fine pre-show with a couple really fun matches. I like that new people get showcased, and the ones that work super hard get at least some spotlight in matches (like Davis, Alexander, and GoD). Newcomers Hayan & Maya were okay, but Maya impressed me a lot more, that gal has some athleticism and is clearly inspired by Athena. Zack Gibson had a good showcase of his toughness and rugged Liverpool nature with Eddie, that was cool too. But it didn't make me significantly more excited for the PPV only because some of these people and matches had little to do with the build to the main show."
[4.0] "A fine Zero Hour show before Worlds End with a couple of matches that were fine and nothing too special but did what it needed to. Julia Hart & Skye Blue vs Hyan & Maya World: Hyan and World continue to gel well as a team even though they have only had a couple of matches teaming, Blue and Hart got the win which was kind of obvious but the match was fine at best [**]. Eddie Kingston vs Zack Gibson: This was a disappointing match to be honest, James Drake getting involved did not need to happen, Kingston winning was the only good thing about this [*1/4]. Bandido & Mascara Dorada vs Mark Davis & Rocky Romero: Best match on this Zero Hour show, interesting team of Bandido and Dorada, Davis and Romero were okay and the action was solid with the pace being just right [***]. Jack Perry, Kevin Knight, Luchasaurus & Mike Bailey vs Bishop Kaun, Josh Alexander, Ricochet & Toa Liona: This was fine as it did start out as 2 v 4 as Perry and Luchasaurus got took out during their entrance, Knight and Bailey held their own til their tag partners made their comeback and Perry got the win by pinning Ricochet which was interesting [**1/4]"
