[10.0] "I'll tell you this right now. There won't be a SINGLE episode of NXT that will top this all year. Top to bottom just great matches and a great showing for the new NXT names. Maybe the future isn't as doomed as I thought."

[9.0] "Well if this show did anything, it proved that the future of NXT is bright, even after multiple big name talent call ups. Elio, Shiloh, The Vanity Project, Sean, and Eli all put on fantastic performances and proved that they're all here to stay."

[8.0] "What I appreciated most about the episode was the effort to properly build all the new prospects and recent arrivals, with a special mention for Elio's strong debut. The main event served as a fitting conclusion to an overall solid episode"

[9.0] "Opener was really fun (8) and a good showcase for Elio in his debut while Ethan Page continues to deliver. Shiloh vs Briggs was as average as it can get (5) and Tony D'Angelo, who attacked after the match, continues to do nothing for me - he's been brought back and is being treated like a big deal, but I've seen nothing to suggest he is one. I thought the tag match (6) was a nice showcase, too, and Swipe Right/Vanity Project are another nice addition to the roster - I thought they were entertaining in their backstage segment with Joe Hendry later on in the show. I really enjoyed what they did with Keanu Carver throughout this show. They've quickly established his character as one that doesn't take orders and does what he wants, when he wants. Even heel-friendly Booker T is against him! Jaida Parker is back and cut a really good babyface promo before being interrupted by Blake Monroe who feels like she's spinning her wheels a little and didn't really say much. Legacy and Eli was fun (7) and only hindered by a lack of emotional connection. See above for Tony D'Angelo, I didn't care earlier in the show and I don't care now. Main event was excellent (9) with the women working so well together to deliver an action-packed main. Tag team wrestling rules. This was about as good of a show as you can get from a brand rebuilding after the loss of so many of their top stars with a breakout performance from Elio LeFleur, a really fun addition of Swipe Right, and Sean Legacy earning himself a big opportunity. Fitting that the women main evented as they've been so strong for NXT for a long, long time. I'm rating this for what it was, a building show."

[9.0] "This is how you start a rebuild of NXT. This was such a great episode of NXT. We saw Elio LeFleur take the WWE NXT North American Champion to his limit. We saw Eli Knight and Sean Legacy tear the house down with an awesome match. Kendal Grey and Lainey Reid are two absolute killers and will be the faces of the Women's NXT Side of things. Keanu Carver is an absolute monster who'll make an immediate impact. Like, they introduced a lot of the right people, and I'm lowkey excited each week of watching NXT as these new faces bring freshness to the product. Lastly, the Main Event was amazing as all Three Teams delivered in one of the best matches of 2026 for WWE this year already."

[6.0] "I wasn't particularly interested in this. The NXT qualifying match between Shiloh Hill and Josh Briggs was really boring, the one with the debuting Eli Knight was much better. The main event was good I guess but a little bit all over the place, the real highlight for me was the debut of Elio LeFleur (what is this repackaging by the way ? )."

[7.0] "A solid episode of NXT with a couple of good matches and some okay segments. Jaida Parker segment was decent, she proved that she can go on the mic and got interesting when Blake Monroe interrupted.    Ethan Page vs Elio LeFleur: LeFleur had a solid first showing on NXT even in defeat, Page showed that he is one of the biggest heels currently on NXT, an awkward ending that needed to be differently done otherwise a competitive match [***1/2]. Shiloh Hill vs Josh Briggs: A fine match that didn't click with me, nothing really of note happened, Hill winning was alright, Briggs seems to be on a downward spiral [**1/2]. Brad Baylor & Rickey Smokes vs Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors: A fine tag team match to get these two teams some TV time [**]. Sean Legacy vs Eli Knight: Two up and coming wrestlers from EVOLVE having a solid match on NXT for the chance to be in the NXT Title Ladder match, the match was decent from bell to bell with Legacy winning [***1/4]. Sol Ruca & Zaria vs Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid vs Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair: A solid match to determine who will challenge for the TNA KO Tag Titles, all three teams had their moment and ZaRuca winning was the right choice [***1/2]"

[7.0] "So, that was a not common show, it feels like a special episode, because we had a 5 matches on a pretty good level, especially last 2, that were awesome. But in a storyline development it wasn't good show, because we saw only one real segment between Jaida Parker and Blake Monroe, but I wasn't satisfied by that. Tony D'Angelo's story is intresting, but everething else was just lazy. Everything goes to February 3 and the ladder match for NXT championship, except that we got almost nothing great. In positive side I want to say that future of NXT is really intresting, because we had a 4 superstars that have their debut matches on this show, and everyone delivered a good performance. After top superstars left NXT, now this brand feels fresh and I'm really waiting to see how everething will be."

[9.0] "The best NXT of the year by far, despite the Shiloh vs. Josh match, the rest of the matches were insane, all above 7/10. Especially the main event and the opener deserve a lot of recognition. In my opinion, with what Lefleur showed, he should be the one to take the title from Ethan in the future, and for Ethan to get to the main roster. The main event, if it had been for a serious title shot, would have been very memorable, full of crazy spots, Sol showing off, Zaria with her superhuman strength, the Fatal Influence girls proving they don't deserve to be minions of someone like Jacy Jayne, and Kendall showing she should be NXT Champion at least. A tremendous show."

[9.0] "An excellent episode of NXT that makes the brand feel the freshest it's been in quite a while. Personally, this show is a week too late and should've followed Oba Femi's dramatic vacating of the NXT title, but at least we got this banger of an episode sooner rather than later. Elio LeFleur has an incredible debut match with Ethan Page, the former Aigle Blanc showing why he's worth the hype and Page reminding everyone just how consistently good he's been for years. Shiloh Hill gets another important NXT win, this time over Briggs, as he starts his climb up the card. Vanity Project hopefully gives Chase U their first proper feud, with both Kale Dixon and Uriah Conners getting a much-deserved spotlight despite the loss. Both Sean Legacy and Eli Knight have an excellent singles match, cementing their place in the company and Sean Legacy's place in NXT. And words are not enough for that incredibly booked main event that showcased all six women involved - it's wild to think that ALL SIX were signed less than 4 years ago and this is the calibre they're now able to perform at. Intrigued where they're going with Tony D'Angelo, Keanu Carver and The Culling too - though their segments turned out to be the weaker elements of the episode."

[8.0] "An enjoyable episode of NXT as they continue to rebuild from a number of names going to the main roster. Good wrestling on the show with the opener and last two matches all being enjoyable while Shiloh/Briggs and Vanity Project/Chase U were solid as well. A good promo from Jaida Parker on the show with her vs. Blake Monroe to come in the future with some effective segments for Keanu Carver and The Culling as well as some good development with Tony D. 7.5-8"

[8.0] "[8.2] The January 20th, 2026 edition of NXT was a really good one. I haven't seen a NXT since May 2025 so tuning back in it seems like they are doing some good stuff. The last two matches on this show are really good and I'd recommend it to anyone who currently watches wrestling. We also had some interesting angles and moments like Tony D'Angelo being arrested, Keanu Carver in general, ZaRuca's tension, Kale Dixon & Elio LeFleur showcasing themselves very well. Overall, I might tune back into NXT because of this show!"

[9.0] "An incredibly strong episode of NXT. Everything clicked, the storylines, and the segments were top-notch. A huge highlight of this episode was Elio's debut and a fantastic women's tag team match. The current NXT roster is very strong, and I think we'll see more strong episodes like this one more often."

[9.0] "This was essentially the perfect weekly NXT episode in terms of not only having entertaining angles but also multiple great matches. I would be a very happy camper if every episode was like this, it just blew by. My only criticism would be that it ironically was too in-ring heavy relative to what I generally want from NXT, but I guess I can't complain if the matches are all good."

[7.0] "Good progress from the Men's Singles Division with the new guys getting a start in the promotion. Ego made Elio look like a million bucks. Eli and Sean had a fun match with a lot of action but not a lot of heat. Chase U/Swipe Right was fun and maybe the most fun I've had with the tag division since Stand and Deliver. Did not bother to give Shiloh/Briggs a chance, don't think I'm gonna revisit that anytime soon either. OTM and The Culling setting their sights on the Tag Belts is good after a period of inactivity. Keanu comes across well and Ricky on comms was a blast. Not having a lot of fun with Blake/Jaida and I think the Tony D story hasn't taken off well and probably needs proper intervention. The main event though? Incredible stuff by 6 super duper talented Women. Bravo."
