[6.0] "Definitely go out of your way to watch Soberano vs Templario and then skip the rest of this. Jay vs Hechicero is pretty good if you are looking for more."
[5.0] "A one match card - starting off in 'very' average fashion before moving to being well, still average but not quite as bad. Mediocrity of the rest of the card aside, Soberano Jr & Templario is a great sprint and definitely worth seeking out. **3/4."
[5.0] "Nothing on this card was terrible but it was certainly below par for both companies; a lesser mix of two otherwise great things. Templario and Soberano Jr. had a fun little sprint but it was honestly industry standard work given the current state of what CMLL and AAA are banging out. If you're still wondering if this card is essential viewing or not, take note that SHO worked the main event. That's really about all that needs to be said. Just watch CMLL instead."
[6.0] "For a first show on the tour this was an underwhelming show - in my personal opinion it exposed that Japanese pro-wrestling (not just NJPW) fans were not aware of CMLL's incredible successful in 2025 and treated wrestlers without big enthusiasm or anything like that, for example it was weird to see Soberano Jr. making his entrance while being seen as just another wrestler on the card. Wrestlers adjusted to the crowd well enough, so nobody really tried to jump over their heads here. A few matches stood out though - Hechicero/Jay was pretty good, it was clear that Hechicero treated this match seriously and he respected Jay, while Jay wanted to make this match mean something and in my eyes he did a good job. Main Event was a classic 'very good, but not quite great' match - Mistico adjusted his formula for SHO's involvement which made it feel a little different compared to his normal Arena Mexico matches. Templario and Soberano Jr. was my MOTN - they have excellent chemistry, they worked hard and they figured that because the crowd peaked in the last minute they had to give them something extra after time limit has expired, it worked and made their match stand out even more as a result. Three other tournament matches told simple stories and were kinda there, 8-man tag was fun in the moment."
