[1.0] "Embarrassing. That's smackdown for ya. The thought of Jey Uso, Rusev, and the Miz all being in the final 8 of a tournament to retire cena makes me sick. The lack of women makes me sick. Nothing feels important and that'll continue as long as road Dogg is there."
[7.0] "Thought the survivor series style elimination matchup was very good, and it's good to see some wyatt sicks around here. Other than thought, i didn't think Jey Uso and LA Knight put on too bad a performance"
[1.0] "This lifeless show came on the same week that WWE announced that SD was returning for 3 hours in the new year, which is like getting spat in the face and punched at the same. WWE hates us every Friday night"
[6.0] "It's past 3 AM over here; so I don't want to spend too much time making a lengthy review. I think that the main event and Charlotte Flair vs Asuka match ALONE keeps this Smackdown episode a 6 on this site for me personally. Those 2 good matches carried this show for the most part."
[1.0] "Absolutely atrocious show even by Smackdown in 2025 standards. Some of the laziest booking you'll ever see putting Miz back in the tournament, all the interesting things you could do and you go and do that. Honestly just creatively bankrupt. Jade Cargill, who isn't ready to be a world champion let alone a double champion, going after a fellow heel for no apparent reason wasn't much better. No good matches really, a couple were ok but little more, I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to watch Asuka/Charlotte (who clearly Charlotte just hasn't beaten enough at this point ffs) or the main event again. First two matches were boring as shit, Jey Uso is near unwatchable in the ring at the moment and why in the world did they bother bringing Rusev back? The worst faction in wrestling winning at the end just capped an absolutely dismal night, couldn't care less about the Wyatt's at the end, had just zoned out by then. Probably give it a 1 just because nothing in-ring was utterly horrendous but couldn't go higher than that, when a show is a combination of boring and idiotic you know they've delivered a true all timer in all the wrong ways.."
[0.0] "This episode of SmackDown was extremely disappointing. While the previous show featured some excellent matches, this one had only one standout: the Main Event. It feels like WWE isn't putting in much effort anymore. They seem more focused on profits than quality, especially with their consistently high ticket prices. Overall, the episode suffered from poor writing and uninteresting television."
[2.0] "This is as bad as smackdown has ever been. And, yes, i know what it's up against historically. People scoffed at the idea that AI was being used to write these shows but look at what is being produced here. Mindless, soulless slop. HownRoad Dogg is a head writer in wrestling in enormous 2025 is beyond embarrassing. This show is an affront to wrestling. It's an affront to entertainment. Get Sami Zayn out of there."
[5.0] "Another mid episode of SmackDown. Actually, matches were good and only Jey vs Rusev not on this level. But it's the only good thing on this show, because everethig else is boring or not intresting. They almost do nothing storyline for PLE. But I can understand it because of pre taped show."
[2.0] "What the fuck was this show? Complete mess, and it felt like an eternity by only the 40 minute mark. Genuinely there's no reason to watch Smackdown this year. Terrible Jey match as always, Chelsea attacked by Jade, Michin teasing she'll be the first one to stand up to Jade, Damien cutting a promo he clearly doesn't give a shit about, Aleister having a spotlight on him behind Damien, Miz being the mystery opponent after terrible ball jokes with Truth and Aldis, MCMG getting eliminated by Tama, that match being so ass in general. Like what are we doing here guys? !"
[3.0] "There was unfortunately very little to get excited about here. This show was a pre record and the energy in the crowd made that obvious. The Miz being the surprise replacement was very underwhelming as we're pretty much all of the matches. I was thoroughly underwhelmed by this nothing burger of an episode. 3/10 Starts with an LA Knight promo, good start, he speaks like a human. Didn't last long, because here comes 'yet man' and his ten minute long entrance. Boing. I miss the real main event Jey Uso. Rusev vs Jey Uso: this was boring. Two minutes in and an ad break. Three more minutes of glacially paced and generic wrestling before an Jey inevitable win. 4/10 Miz, Aldis and truth backstage. This was a disaster. Priest backstage with Zelina. Better. Chelsea Green Championship celebration. Interrupted by Jade Cargill. I feel sorry for Chelsea having to take that bump for this bum. I'm sorry, but no. Just no. Flair and Bliss backstage. Cena interview. Jade Cargill backstage, and interacting with B Fab and Michin. Bad to worse. Speaking of Bad to WORSE. The Miz is making his entrance. The Miz vs LA Knight: two minutes in, ad break. It says a lot about the quality of this show right now that this match even happened. It's says more that this wasn't the worst match as well. Solid TV match, back and forth. No high pace work rate classic but solid tv wrestling. The false finish with the skull crushing finale was done particularly well. The finish was a classic finish as well. I'm shocked as well... this was alright. 6/10 SS Tag match promo with the MFT and Sami. Little hype package. Whatever. Ilja Dragunov backstage. He should be in the ring. Flair vs Asuka: survivor series advantage match. This was solid again. They were clearly holding back a bit, which considering how close we are to wargames is fair enough. But it does give me hope for the main match as well. The match was a decent technical affair. 6/10 Men's war games hype package. Meh. MFT makes their entrance and Ad Free was announced. Don't threaten me with a good time! Team 'Baby face' vs MFT: first elimination Jeff Cobb, second shinsuke. Nothing interesting happened building up to either elimination. Poor Cobb. Rey eliminated Tonga Loa. Talla eliminates Shelley, and then Sabin. Hikuleo Just single handedly destroyed the MCMG... what is happening. Rey eliminated by Tama. Sami on his own. Hits Helluva, eliminates Tama. Talla gets counted out. Down to solo and Sami. The finish was dubious, solo narrowly kicked out and it was closer to four than two, that's all I'm saying. He then hit a tame spike and grabbed the win. The whole match was fairly mid if I'm honest, and the Wyatt Sicks turning up at the end didn't improve my mood. 5/10"
[7.0] "This was a very good episode of Smackdown, especially for a taped show. Not sure why it's so seemingly controversial. Matches got progressively better as the night went on. Storylines were expanded and new ones continued like the MFT and Wyatt's. The only part of the show that was egregious to me was Jade attacking Chelsea"
[6.0] "The fights at this event were good at some points, a very good build-up to the gala. I could criticize a bit how it's all put together, and I didn't like the winner, for example, Jey Uso. Rusev should have won and been John Cena's final opponent, but overall I don't consider this event very bad. It was just a perfect pre-gala affair with a few mistakes."
[5.0] "Backstage segments aside, a modest SmackDown. Storylines make absolutely no sense whatsoever considering the writers and Triple Cocaine are addicted to raw, hard drugs and alcohol. The matches were average to decent, a good main event for a change. But overall, it wasn't as entertaining considering its a taped event. Anyway, I've seen way worse SD's for the last year or even more."
"Wow this was one lazy show, they really couldn't think of an actually good mystery opponent for Knight instead putting in the Miz to lose again. If they really wanted to keep the Miz in the tournament they should have just had him beat Jey hell you even could have had him beat Rusev thn have him lose to Knight in the semi finals. Instead they pull this nonsense for no reason whatsoever. Not to mention how dumb the main champion is feuding with the midcard champion like really. They need to be building a main event caliber opponent to for her and a raising star to face off with Chelsea."
[2.0] "As someone else pointed out, all of the guys left in the Cena tourney are at, near, or over 40. It wouldn't be an issue if Cena came out and said he wants to face one of those guys. This tournament seems like it was intended to give someone a huge rub but who is really going to benefit from it? LA Knight? He's great but it's clear Triple H doesn't think so."
[5.0] "Mid smackdown but it's taped show so it's not really surprised me good main event and two good match on the other parts hope surviver series deliver because it's looks like a big deal and I hope smackdown gets better"
[6.0] "An okay show for a taping show with a two great match but women's division still not good hope its become better in 2026 and man please stop pushing jey he is not on that level to retire john cena but I'm sure final will be Gunther versus la knight"
[6.0] "This SD is good, but we'll only remember the matches. Not a single interesting segment. Uso/Rusev was okay, Jey unfortunately wins. Another bloody rubbish segment with R-Truth. The Chelsea Green segment was appallingly bad. Now they're mixing the WWE champion with the US champion, which is totally pointless. It was time to bring in an NXT wrestler instead of Cargill, because you couldn't bring in B-Fab and Michin, who are of no interest. I'm glad Joe Hendry isn't Knight's opponent. Miz/Knight is a pretty cool match. It was the same quality as Ryder/Knight. Knight wins and I hope he beats Jey Uso. Flair/Asuka is, unsurprisingly, a very good match. Both of them delivered in the ring and we got some cool moves. The ME lived up to my expectations, which is to say it was cool. We didn't get a single commercial during the match, which is a very positive point. Despite a slow start, the pace picked up. There was some good wrestling, but we knew the MFT were going to win this match. Solo beating Sami clean is great, Sami doesn't need to be protected. Bringing the Wyatt6 to Solo is too late, they should have built this clan vs. clan feud for War Games, not for after War Games. Now for War Games, which I hope will make us forget the disastrous build-up to this PLE."
"They gave us a poisonous show for SmackDown Thanksgiving. Hilarious. It was nearly impossible to keep my attention on the screen, matches were bland, no real interest in them. Charlotte vs Asuka was trying hard, but crowd was never invested and the match superstars felt that so they never switched gears. Giving us a lazy match with a BAD ending. I had high hopes for the Elimination Match, thought maybe we will have at least 30 minutes wrestling time, voy was I wrong when I realized show was about to end in 22 minutes and we were just moving into it. About that match ... All the build up to it was alright, but this match was atrocious, no elimination mattered, no character development or growth, no charm at all. I'm not a fan of the results, not a fan of these matches, not a fan of these go-home shows. Do better WWE."
[0.0] "One of the most dull and boring television episodes I've ever watched. Jey Uso may legitimately be the worse wrestler to ever do it that gets a main event singles push because he throws his arms up and down non stop. The women's division is an absolute mess and nothing makes sense at all. A heel champion attacking a heel champion? Like what? Asuka losing to Charlotte as usual and seems like all of her momentum she has is now gone."
[1.0] "Honestly, SmackDown was a mess from start to finish. Opening with Jey Uso again in this so-called "future of the company" tournament--when half the bracket is made up of guys pushing 40--already set the tone. The match itself was nothing worth remembering. Then we got that awkward Chelsea Green "celebration" segment just for Jade Cargill to show up and crash it for no real reason. Jade is barely on TV, not even on the Survivor Series card, yet they still don't seem to know what to do with her. And having the top women's champion interrupt a midcard champion's segment? Completely backwards. Miz vs LA Knight felt like a rerun everyone's already seen, with the same predictable outcome. The main event was supposed to feel like something big, but it was flat, sloppy, and the crowd couldn't care less. Sami looked like he might pull it out, then got spiked and that was it. Another lazy finish to another lazy show. And seriously... how many times do we have to be force-fed Jey Uso every single week? It's beyond overkill."
[1.0] "It started off with Jey uso vs Rusev in the last time is now tournament(Which triple fraud already botched since Cena said he wanted this to show the future but 11 out of the 16 competitors were over the age of 40? But that's another discussion). The match was ok at best it was nothing special and very skip-able match. Then we had Chelsea Green come out for her celebration and then Jade Cargill comes out with she is a Heel to ruin another Heel celebration? Jade Cargill is barley on tv and when she is it's for a bit and she's not even in the Survivor Series PLE...what are we doing with her? We really having the main women's champion going out to interrupt the women's MID card champion for what? Then we had the miz vs LA Knight which wasn't that good we seen this match before LA Knight wins there's nothing more to that. Then we had Asuka vs Charlotte Flair for the advantage match which Charlotte wins but Asuka just won the tag team title belts couple weeks ago now she's jobbing out...I guess we can see how much that title means to Wwe.Then we had the main event with Sami Zayn & Rey Fenix & Shinsuke & The Motor City Machine Bums...I mean gun vs MFT in a Classic survivor series match but it wasn't anything near like the classic this was garbage junk match. The crowd were not into this at all and Solo Sikoa wins this match it seemed like Sami might've clutched up but he didn't he gets spiked and it's over.Idk what triple fraud was thinking booking this probably nothing and this was all lazy and garbage booking one of the worst smackdowns..."
[3.0] "Rusev/Jey was sub-par, completely devoid of any innovation or creativity, just a forgettable bout. Jey still not good enough, but I think Rusev's worth talking about. Rusev has returned to WWE a better wrestler, with better character depth and a promo style that's unique to him, as a viewer, these are things I would like to see more on TV. The backstage segment between Priest and Zelina is what it is, I don't mind this continuing but I think this is a feud that needs to reach its natural climax soon. The terror twins reunion is sweet and maybe sets up a mixed tag? I don't mind it till Zelina and Aleister win. Them losing would make no sense to me. Miz is the replacement for Sheamus? Sure. LA Knight/Miz, that's definitely a match that happened. LA Knight mentioned it in a backstage interview but he keeps getting screwed over and I definitely think its time for some character developement aside from being the charismatic nice guy. Heel Turn? Maybe. The Backstage Segments for the Women's Wargames teams are fine but mostly filler and Charlotte/Asuka match is fine, think it could've been better and I think Asuka winning would make more sense to me just because of how over the Babyface team really is. The Chelsea Green celebration is bad, I thought we were past that in 2025 but guess not. I don't have an issue with a double champ on Smackdown but Jade can't carry that weight. The Women's Wargames match is one which I think can be good if you focus on the right talent. Now to the Main Event, this Babyface collective is really enjoyable to me, and I think through the match, their action is much better than the heel team. Fenix is really good, even in general, I think he's the best singles wrestler on Smackdown and I think showcases like these are a good example of that, MCMG and Nak looked good, nice to see Nak as a babyface again. Sami is the gift that keeps on giving, absolutely one of the best wrestlers to ever set foot in the WWE. As for the Heels, it remains to be seen what the WWE sees in the MFT, they seem to focus this on Talla Tonga as this big undeniable force, but he is not good. JC Mateo (FKA Jeff Cobb) might not have shown a lot in his WWE Stint so far but he's 10 times the wrestler that anyone else in this group is and I think this match would have benefitted by him taking the spot that Talla Tonga occupied. Solo does decently in the closing stretch of the match although I think its tough to miss when you're working with Sami Zayn in his current form. Solo wins it for the MFTs and is confronted by the Wyatt Sicks who have absolutely destroyed a once great Tag Division. MFTs should cost them the title next week or the week after. Do something better with this show."
[1.0] "I could write up a whole spiel about how awful Smackdown is from top to bottom, but I'll focus on the biggest pain points right now. 1) Too much focus on the MFT. The group sucks. It doesn't help that their next feud seems to be...the Wyatt Sicks. A group that of wrestlers who cheat as much as possible, and have killed the one strong point of the show in the tag division. 2) The Smackdown Women's Division is a complete and utter dumpster fire. Chelsea Green had her big championship celebration tonight, and conventional wisdom or logical thinking would tell you that the former US Champion who literally got cheated out of her title in 1:38 in Giulia would get her revenge. Not on Road Dogg's watch. He used this segment as a way to further push Jade into the spotlight at the expense of everyone else. Nevermind the fact that Jade has had an insane amount of regression in virtually every aspect over the past year. At this point, the WWE Women's Championship could be put on a literal chair and it would still have more charisma and be better in the ring than Jade. 3) Feeding into the point above, the fact that Jade's first feud is likely going to be some sort of combination of Chelsea Green and Michin really shows how creatively bankrupt this show is. Chelsea has a title she should be trying to keep from Giulia. And Michin is just never going to click with audiences. This was easily one of the worst Smackdowns of the year. Get rid of Road Dogg and that'll be a big improvement on its own."
