[6.0] "Overall it's decent. Starts and ends really well but the undercard sucks. Alba Fyre didn't do anything to deserve to get fed to Jade. The women's division is a huge issue and brings down the quality a ton. Feels like I'm seeing the same bad stuff every. single. week."

The result also was a flop, too disrespecting of LA Knight, I wouldn't mind him losing, but taping out? The other opponents of Gunther in the tour didnt tappout, this was a message from the higher-ups, a punishment. 5/10 Will revisit in a few days with a clearer mind"

[5.0] "Real upset tonight is having an interference in the Open US Challenge. That was disrespectful to Carmelo and Ilja and of course the fans. The match against Ciampa better be 5 Star Banger without any shenanigans, otherwise just stop the open challenge and give us proper feuds for the tile. Alexa Bliss got the victory over Kairi Sane after Kairi got distracted and landed right in the arms of Alexa for a Sister Abigail. Fraxiom looking out for revenge after DIY. Solo and MFT had a brawl with Wyatt Sicks on this never ending story, when are we gonna see the titles being defended? Getting tired of these two teams just talking, taking time on TV instead of showing off the other teams on the roster... Hold up, there's no more teams, right. Jade weekly squash, this time built around the Chelsea Green and Giulia US Championship feud. Jade came, destroy, call herself that B and left. Sure, whatever. Gunther won the tournament, good choice, but this tournament was awful! No story going into, what's on stake? What does it mean to get to fight Cena for his last match? What does it do for any one of the involved? I guess we will find out 2 years from now in the next UNreal season or in some vignettes over there on RAW. Match itself was good, LA Knight is so over I can't believe it, he looked awesome from start to tap out finish. An okay show, nothing more."

Maybe Solo's promo also was intresting, but their rivalry with Wyatt Sicks isn't so good. Women's division still sucks and both singles championship got only 5 minutes, but women's tag team division much better. Pretty average episode, but for the SmackDown it's good."

[8.0] "This week's SmackDown delivered one of the blue brand's strongest recent outings, opening with high energy and closing with a fantastic main event. Ilja Dragunov's open challenge set the tone early, followed by Solo Sikoa cutting one of his most convincing promos to date--clear proof of the remarkable progress he's shown over the past few weeks. The growing rivalry between the MfT and the Wyatt Sicks looks poised to 'feed families, ' promising some of the most compelling storytelling on the show. While the middle portion of the episode dipped slightly due to Jade Cargill's squash match flattening the momentum, the show quickly found its footing again thanks to the outstanding Gunther vs. LA Knight tournament final. With an explosive start, a compelling close, and significant character progression throughout, SmackDown delivered another strong week--further proof that the brand has been consistently improving over the past month."

[6.0] "Properly mixed bag this show. The opening match was acceptable, the middle of the show was slow, boring, mainly irrelevant time filling nonsense. The main event though... was a work of art. After the consistently decent quality of Raw this week, this was a touch disappointing but was still largely watchable. Just wish that they could tighten up that flabby mid section. 6/10 Opens in the garage, Cody attacks Drew in his car, genuinely hilarious. The promo that follows, less entertaining. Fake grumpy Cody does his best stroppy toddle walk to the ring and goes through the same promo he always does when going through the motions. Backstage Ciampa and Melo. Priest package, still feuding with Black. Now adding Rhea. This feud is hell. Ilya Dragunov vs Carmelo Hayes: two minutes, ad break. (Cut that backstage nonsense out and give us more of the match instead) back from the break and it was decent, nothing ground breaking. But then that was torched so that Ciampa could do a tame interference. Dragunov wins. Banger belt run killed. Crowd deflated. 6/10 Flair bliss backstage. Cena tourney package. LA Knight backstage. He's so good. Tony hinchcliffe is not. STOP IT. Bliss vs Kairi: 1 minute, ad break. Few more minutes, pin. Nothing match. A squash hidden by an ad break. Jax and Lash attack after the bell and have a sloppy fight. Fine. Whatever. Tag team division, whatever. This was whatever. 4/10 Starks and Oba Femi backstage. Sets up match with Cody. Jax and Lash backstage. Cargill Vs Fyre: squash. Jade's limits accepted. Is what it is. Fraxiom, Ilya, Aldis, MFT backstage. Cargill and jobbers backstage. Who cares. MFT in ring promo. Good promo from solo here, but then I remembered... her comes the Wyatts. Meh. The Miz backstage with Aldis. Bayley comes in and is facing Sol Ruca on SNME. Gunther backstage. Black and Vega, decent package. Knight vs Gunther: what a fantastic match. Proper graps from proper wrestlers. Well paced, well structured, nothing outrageously over the top. High stakes match and the action presented as a struggle, especially the finish. Gunther is one of the best in the world. 8/10"

"The fans who only watch WWE are now seeing the only way to make Jade palatable is nothing squash matches. That's all she's capable of and all she's good for. Enjoy!"

[6.0] "A rather dull SmackDown for me, this one marked the first "average" US-Open title match of Ilja, though that's not really his fault or Melo's - its the rather boring and pointless "rivalry" between the bald jackass and Dragunov? Whatever that is, its an abomination and a crowd killer - they ruined a somewhat good match. The Alexa v. Kairi match was boring, once again pointless and flat out bad. Then came another pointless Jade Cargill squash, she's very green and the crowd doesn't care about her. The main-event was an absolute banger, though everyone already knew Gunther would go forward. The segment with Cody was a good start to the show, a somewhat good promo from him is becoming rarer and rarer. Overall, a 6/10."

[8.0] "A very good SD. Everything involving Drew and Cody was good. The attack in the car park and Cody's promo asking Nick to reinstate Drew makes sense. The feud between Priest and Black remains uninteresting. The Last Man Standing should have been the end of the feud, but they want to prolong a feud that isn't interesting. Bringing in Rhea won't change the quality of the feud, which has been bad from the start. Ilja/Melo was cool, but it could have been better. It was a little too short, but despite that, we had some good exchanges and Melo had three big matches in a row. Ciampa costing Melo the US title is consistent with what has been said about Ciampa in recent weeks. Ilja's disappointment at not winning clean is cool. Looking forward to the Ciampa/Ilja match. Bliss/Sane was very classic in the ring. Really a basic match. The post-match segment shows that War Games was a waste of time. Legend and Jax in the title race is a yes. Very good idea to put NXT wrestlers against Main Roster wrestlers. Sure, it shows that they have no plans for SNME, but they've found a good solution. Cody vs. Saints or Femi and Bayley/Ruca are appealing. Cargill/Fyre... Cargill/Fyre, nothing more to say. Not much to say about Cargill's reign at the moment. Solo did a good promo by mentioning personal things. The fight right after is very cool (why didn't they do that for War Games? ). I say it every week, I'm not a fan of either side, but it makes me want to watch. Gunther/Knight is excellent. A very good fight with Gunther as charismatic as ever. I'm disappointed with the result, but that's the goal. Knight was on top form. Now we can give our opinion on this tournament: average. Very few of the new generation were given prominence. Only Melo, Reed and Evans were given prominence. It was nice to see Ryder and Ziggler again, but you know it's just for one night, so what's the point? Too many wrestlers at the end of their careers or not used properly. Gunther and Knight are good choices for Cena, but WWE didn't have the courage to take the risk of putting a wrestler from the new generation beat Cena."

[7.0] "Loved the hot opening with Cody attacking Drew and the subsequent promo, followed by a fun, albeit short, US title match. The tag division continues to intrigue as the Bliss/Sane match was overshadowed by the post-match angle. I still dunno what they're doing with the US/World title scene on smackdown and they're not really doing a good job of making me care with 2 minute matches every week. MFTs and Wyatt Sicks is prolly not going to be a great match but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy their segments together and the build to this eventual match. The highlight of the night though was the main event. Gunther's matches has been by far the highlight of this tourney and he deservedly won here. Go out of your way to watch that main event but that goes without saying for any Gunther match. Great Smackdown"

It was a good choice after a good fight in my opinion, and the others weren't rubbish, but they could have been better with a little more time. Overall, 7/10"

Alexa and Kairi had a solid match, which in my opinion should have been a little longer. Jade's squash match was expected - for now they are building her well and I think she has huge potential as a monster heel. The match of the night, of course, once again was Gunther vs. LA Knight. The winner was expected and I would say the choice was the right one."

Then got home to those dull ass Tiger woods menu load screen bull shit. Aka a fn commercial. An ad. I had shit to do. I usually never would miss intentionally, but these days I'm drifting away. Oh yea. I liked the wargames package. Again I'm driving and War Pigs blasting thru the speakers. But it also felt so extra with their boom sounds on plexes. Man fuck the dub these days. Hard 2. Don't even remember what happened"

"To put LA Knight, one of the most organically over guys in today's business, in this tournament, knowing damn well that the spot was for Gunther from minute one, is bad enough. To make him tap out? This company has way too many matches now where, just when you think the babyface is using his last ounce of strength to overcome, the heel just beats them and leaves the ring. And everyone in the arena groans and accepts that what they want is wrong and only Triple H knows what's right. This is what WWE television looked like when the current booker himself was champion, in fact. I'm so tired of this company."
