[9.0] "This episode of NXT did a great job of building excitement for Homecoming, which feels like it could be just as big of an event as Roadblock was earlier this year."
[8.0] "Great weekly episode with some super fun matches and a very diverse card. They're doing a brilliant job hyping up Homecoming, and its working. The main event was brilliant."
[6.0] "Fine show, but I hate how haphazardly they threw together homecoming. You could've been building it for a couple weeks now, or just booked it at a time where it could be the focus for a good bit, but instead it's stuffed between two PPVs and now has to be rushed. Onto the actual show, Je'von vs Josh was fun, it was nice to see Hayes being presented this way again, didn't care for the Lainey match, nor the tag title match as both just didn't do anything for me, though Prince Pretty's return was awesome, and I liked the triple threat elimination match."
[7.0] "What a fun episode of NXT! We got to see Carmelo Hayes, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, Tiffany Stratton, and Tyler Breeze all make an appearance to hype up next week's NXT Homecoming Show. It was a great build-up, and they made Carmelo Hayes look even bigger than he does on the Main Roster. The matches were entertaining too - Josh Briggs and Je'Von Evans were a highlight, as was the Women's Tag Main Event. All in all, a solid show, and I'm looking forward to WWE returning to Full Sail next week for NXT Homecoming."
[7.0] "Very good episode with a high level of wrestling, especially opening and main event. Other matches also good for the average NXT level. Storylines maybe developing not so much, but for the Homecoming show they did pretty good job. DIY, Carmelo Hayes, Tyler Breeze, Stephanie Vaquer, Tiffany Stratton and Rhea Riple returns on this episode and just a fact of this doing this show very great."
[6.0] "This NXT was largely fine, although I disagree with Stephanie/Tiffany popping up for homecoming since they both left NXT relatively recently. However, a couple of good matches (a great main event) and a few fun segments made it largely watchtable. Still not a brilliant show though."
[5.0] "Bland episode that was quite confusing in parts. Show kind of fell off a cliff after the opening match and the returns to NXT of Stephanie V and Tiffy S made no sense other than a ploy to pop the crowd. Maybe I just need to watch NXT more and there are things I perhaps have missed."
[7.0] "Good episode of NXT with some good matches and some alright matches sprinkled throughout the card. The feuds are advancing and I'm excited for the NXT homecoming episode at Full Sail. For the first time in years I'm excited for a surprise NXT debut or return."
[7.0] "Enjoyable episode with some good wrestling (particularly in the opener and the main event) while there were some effective appearances and set up for the NXT Homecoming return to Full Sail the following week. (Tyler Breeze's appearance could have been executed more effectively.) While some of the names may not have had directly been at Full Sail's NXT, all do have NXT in their past and they found a way to connect a lot of dots for next week's show. While I appreciate the fact that the Speed titles were not completely forgotten, I find their addition on NXT to not add a lot to the show while the matches feel overly rushed."
