[6.0] "I really enjoyed the title contact signing segment. All four of these men have issues with one another to different extents and there's plenty of places they could go from here. I expect Joe to retain, but him and MJF have enough history to make an interesting feud for the belt into the new year, meanwhile reigniting the feud between Swerve and Hangman could be interesting, or a totally different angle may develop. MJF really injected a bit of interest and star power into the event and into the upcoming PPV."

[9.0] "Really fun episode of Dynamite that gave us Kenny Omega & the Young Bucks earning a win over Okada & Takeshita. Athena & Megan Bayne defeat Babes of Wrath and the Timeless Love Bombs, and I can watch Willow getting pinned on repeat. Fletcher gets upset by PAC, but the finish was perfect. Bandido and Ricochet are the last men standing in the Battle Royal, which should set up a really good match."

"1) Damn, I had the feeling that MJF was going to make his return during the contract signing segment, but the rational part of my brain was telling me that there was no way MJF would execute his contract for a world title match with two other participants already in it. But he explained his reasoning pretty well, so I have no problems with it. At first, I thought he would just enter the ring, without acknowledging his future opponents sign the contract, and leave the ring as nonchalantly as he entered it with the other three contestants standing there speechless without even throwing a glance at them. That would be badass. Thankfully, his promo was badass too (as they always are), so I wasn't much disappointed in what we got either. 2) When one of my favorite wrestlers beats my other favorite wrestler, am I supposed to cheer or boo? In the case of [the] PAC's victory over Kyle Fletcher, I was more inclined to cheer. Why? Because PAC needed that victory more than the former TNT champion. Kyle is already where he should be, while PAC is still has a long way to go to get where he deserves to be."

[7.0] "It was somewhere between a 7 and an 8 for me. The crowd was electric as you would expect in the UK, and it was great to see such a large crowd too, because AEW really deserve it this year. There were 3 excellent matches and the segment between Hangman, Swerve, Joe and the returning MJF was fantastic. The Dynamite Diamond Ring battle royal main eventing the show seemed like an odd choice and, like many people, I assumed that it was going to be used for MJF's return, but of course that happened instead earlier in the evening. Ricochet vs Bandido will be awesome though, so that was a nice outcome, but it was still a very odd way to end the show. Wouldn't have made more sense to swap this with the Men's World title contract signing segment instead? Otherwise though, for the most part this was an enjoyable episode."

[8.0] "It was a pretty decent show i wish i could of been there live but it continues a 2025s outstanding run of good to all timer Wednesday nights which was great. We got some great C2 action with Pac vs Fletcher being my match of the night for the first 2 hours and a great match between Mox and Roddy. The Elite reforming and getting Omega Okada graps on free Tv is just greet fun. I was a big fan of the contract signing segment great promo work from all 4 men like seeing MJF back with some interesting jabs on the mic. Only negatives for me were the finish of the women's match and the very oddly done battle royale which probably bring the show to a round 8 out of 10 thanks to a great crowd as always in the UK."
krissy13 wrote on 19.12.2025:
[7.0] "Solid show overall. A really fun tag match and some quality work from the C2, unfortunately let down by the horrendous battle royal at the end of the show. MJF's return was great - and his promo was even better. Just when you thought the division was getting a little stale, out he pops and turns the whole thing on its head."
Mizzle Assault Ant wrote on 19.12.2025:
[8.0] "Really good episode overall. PAC vs. Fletcher was definitely my Match of the Night. MJF's return popped me and all four guys did well in that promo segment. Interested what happens with the title now."
Ozwern wrote on 19.12.2025:
[5.0] "UK AEW shows are heavily carried by hot crowds but the content itself on these shows never really match their energy. This was just an average show and it would have been perceived far worse had it happen in the states. C2 tournament is fine but not really mind blowing as others claim and the storylines they're supposed to push are progressing at a snails pace. Have no interest in elite melodrama. MJF still cuts repetitive edgelord promos that have no substance. Nothingburger of a token women's tag match and a straight up awful battle royal that is contested for something that has lost its value a long time ago. Just an average run of the mill dynamite that drew a big crowd but did nothing to excite or draw interest."
SkyIcons wrote on 19.12.2025:
[6.0] "Some highs, some lows. The C2 stuff was good and I enjoyed the elite/callis family trios but that's really all. The world title segment was going well until MJF showed up and started yapping for so long."
GimliJr wrote on 18.12.2025:
[6.0] "Good matches for the Continental Classic, but I was quite disappointed by the battle royal and the multi-man (wo)man matches. Fortunately, the segment featuring MJF's return was a real treat. The provocations could be criticized, but the intensity on the mic, the appropriate use of the contract, combined with the pop of her return, made it a great moment. Nothing else to report in terms of angles, but this (long) segment helped make an otherwise uneven show enjoyable. In-ring quality: 2.5/5. Angles and out-of-match segments: 1.5/3. Bonus/penalty: great atmosphere +0.25. Total: 6.25/10. Show watched on Triller TV."

[10.0] "Another great episode of Dynamite this week with every match delivering from good to excellent throughout, the Worlds End World Title contract signing delivered as well with some great promos from all involved and got even more interesting following the return of MJF who cashed in his World Title contract he won earlier in the year and gave an intense promo. Jon Moxley vs Roderick Strong: A strong match within the C2 tournament and to open this weeks episode of Dynamite, Strong and Mox brought the fight out of each other and delivered a better match than I expected it to be, could have seen Strong get the win but Mox winning was decent enough [****1/4]. Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita: Given who was involved in this match my expectations were high and did they deliver, they had one of the best trios matches I have seen in AEW and on Dynamite in recent memory, all six had their moment and they delivered and this was a PPV worthy match on weekly TV, quite a few memorable moments throughout [*****]. Athena, Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne & Mercedes Mone vs Harley Cameron, Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm & Willow Nightingale: A fun 8 woman tag team match that had some decent moments, Athena hitting Nightingale with the O Face allowing Mone to pin Nightingale was an interesting booking of the match, but still worth a watch even though they could have had more time as was just getting into the match fully by the conclusion [***1/4]. PAC vs Kyle Fletcher: They had a physical clash within the C2 tournament, both gave some decently great moments and had a blast watching this one, PAC winning was a surprise but also good to see [****]. Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal: A good battle royal even if it may have been just a bit confusing given wrestlers still in the match were on the outside of the ring, Bandido and Ricochet advancing to the Final match next week made for a fresh change and look forward to the match next week between the two [***1/2]"
MaveDeltzer wrote on 18.12.2025:
[6.0] "A decent episode with a few okay matches and segments, weighed down by a poor Battle Royale main event in which in several points there were more legal wrestlers outside the ring than in it, blurring the lines between eliminations, and an otherwise servicable women's tag match which ended with Willow completely no-selling Athena's finisher. The MJF return was good event if I thought the segment went a little long, and the pretend money match wasn't quite good enough to justify its runtime."
Robot3872 wrote on 18.12.2025:
"For me the best highlights were the women's tag match and Pac vs Kyle Fletcher. Toni Storm acting like Rikishi was unexpected but memorable and fun. Pac sold very well also and made it hard-hitting and painful looking. However I think overall there was not many storylines going on, I think several matches as many people as possible participated, probably to take advantage of the location of being in a different country and limited time. The Elite match I think there was some nicely executed moves, but there was so many elements going on at the same time as well it was a little chaotic. However, the Kenny Omega One Winged Angel on Hechicero was impressive. The AEW Championship promo segment was very long it dragged on and on."

[6.0] "Hermano! This show definitely felt more hype than the actual payoff. MJF's return, The ELITE reforming, even the women's entrances all felt huge, and the overseas crowd helped. Willow caused a rough finish, and the Battle Royal was wonky. The trios match looked like a faded whisper of the epic trios of old, but was still fun. Decent C2 block action."

[10.0] "I thought this was a top 10 Dynamite for what has been an incredible run of Dynamite in 2025. My favorite show in months. The wrestling was fantastic, storylines surrounding the C2 progressed in super intriguing ways - can't wait to see how Kyle responds, a desperate Roddy, Mascara must get a win and Pac is a hoss. Mox promo was great also. The contract signing was the best contract segment I've seen in almost 35yrs of watching wrestling. Crowd put this show over the top too. Fantastic pro wrestling tv with no misses in my view although I definitely would have liked to see more star power in the battle royale."

[8.0] "90% of this show was outstanding. MJF's return and the contact signing was excellent. The continental classic and party match were excellent. The women's match was fine, the battle royal was bad. Just how I saw it. 7.5/10 Opens up straight into a match with Roddy Strong vs Jon Moxley: this was solid, a proper match with proper graps and a really good opener. Started off slow but really got going after the break. Lots of urgency without loads of over the top spots. Great match. 7.5/10 Eddie backstage promo DCF VS The Elite: the reformed elite were great here. They worked through their catalogue of moves and the crowd ate it up. The Don Callis family (Takeshita, Hechicero and Okada) had the ongoing tension between them all to complicate things. This had a surprisingly high pace and was worked like an old school PWG party match. The finish was an assisted one winged angel. Beautiful. 8/10 Okada and Takeshita attack the elite after the bell but eventually end up fighting each other. Contract signing, MJF returns. This was amazing. AMAZING. JetSpeed backstage. Eighty women tag: slightly off, no stakes women's tag match. It starts quite sloppily with both Marina and Harley in the ring at the same time, but it gets going after the break. The pace picked up and somewhat counter intuitively the work improved. Ends with Mercedes snatching a victory after Athena hits the Oh Face. This was fine, but no classic. 6/10 Kyle Fletcher vs Pac: another match, another Kyle Fletcher banger. High paced, well worked, well structured. Pac picks up the win with the black arrow. Top graps. 8/10 Dynamite diamond ring Battle royal: yeah... this was a bit sh*t. A battle royal where half of the competitors chill outside for no reason with no consequences. In the meantime the odd person jumps in and out. A mid match ad break... yeah nah. The finish was decent with Brody saving his buddy and the final pairing being Ricochet and Bandido is inspired. That being said, rough match. 4/10"

[8.0] "Starts off with opener about to start, interesting. Crowd sounded great but didn't look great tbh. I've seen smaller audiences look better. Good hard hitting start then they go to the crowd which seemed unnecessary and Mox then gets in to hit a tope. Some spots aren't timed well (Roddy sees Mox coming but doesn't get out the way). Very gritty match as you'd expect from these 2. Great cutter from Mox and real tension on the submission afterwards. Mox win makes some sense in the grand scheme of things but Strong is out after 3 losses. Solid follow up from Kingston after last weeks ME. Don Callis has 2 of his guys in this tough and consequential tournament, and on their night off he's making them compete. I'd be pissed. This was mostly good but it felt long and started slow by the elites standards. They gave it ppv effort but didn't really need to. I also can't help but note that Omegas body language is kinda goofy. Post match was fine. Contract signing started alright. I liked Joe and Swerves contributions on the mic. Hangman was confusing at earlier points in this promo. Also, they're still doing the "where's the old Joe" promo that Eddie did. This wasn't bad, then mjf showed up and took it up 4 or 5 levels and he didn't just improve the segment, he improved the whole show. Only mouth breathers would think otherwise, especially on a show that's 90% wrestling 90% of the time, this was needed, proper match promotion. I liked the Mt Everest line from Knight during the Jetspeed promo. Segment was aight. Women's 4 way tag reinforced that Toni Storm will forever be over. I hate that move Mina does where she traps a leg and does a ddt on the someone else. The person receiving the ddt always looks stupid. Heels isolate Harley. Spot heavy match but almost everything was well executed and I liked Willow and Mercedes' reaction to the finish. Also, we momentarily got unprovoked Babes of Wrath chants which I never thought would happen. Fletcher v PAC wasn't bad but Fletcher's set the bar too high so it wasn't great (which actually makes sense based on PAC's collision promo). Kyle's selling is great. They fight on the floor where Kyle regains the advantage. I love the transition into the standing brutalizer. Kyle has a bad habit of scooting into convenient position to take diving moves. TK's need to book everyone to look strong might hurt Kyle. At least with the match last week the way they had it happen got me to accept the result. Dynamite diamond ring match started off fun but seeing everyone on the outside just highlights the fundamental flaw with these matches. Why even get in-ring at all. This was alright but the end was anticlimactic. Also kinda weird that some bigger names are slaving away in the C2 for 1 of 4 mid card belts while these guys could get a title match from 2 matches. TK needs to make big picture layouts his friend."

[7.0] "[6.7] I'm starting with the one thing on this show I absolutely hated. I have/had long been of the mind that MJF just needed a break to get back to his Late 2021-Early 2023 form. When he said he was taking a break after Wrestledream, I was hopeful, but after how his quality of work had been between mid-2023 and his break, I was ready for disappointment. After his promo with Joe/Swerve/Hangman, I genuinely don't know why I ever bothered getting my hopes up. It would've been great if he just showed up, cashed in his contract wordlessly, and left, but they just had to give him a mic because he's such a good talker, you guys. "Something had to change, " followed by exact fucking same old shitty promo he always cuts, now with 100% more WWE mentions and comparing Swerve to a serial rapist and sex trafficker. It's just all so damn tired. Utterly fucking rancid first impression for this return. Honest to god I hated this so much that I almost turned the show off then and there, and it takes two points off my final rating. Other than that the show was good. Mox/Roddy was good, the million dollar tag was fun, the eight woman tag was good but did have the misfortune of being immediately after the Joe/Swerve/Hanger/MJF promo, which meant I was super deflated for it. PAC/Fletcher was fantastic and is my MOTN pick, and the Dynamite Diamond Ring BR was okay, as always. Overall, a good show if you skip the contract signing and act like MJF doesn't exist."

[9.0] "I'm speaking more to the live experience than what's shown on television; this the fourth AEW event I've been to live (after two All Ins and Forbidden Door), and AEW has gone four for four in severely impressing me. The first match just speaks to Mox as much more entertaining in late 2025 with the evolution of the Death Riders (especially up against a brilliant technically minded wrestler like Strong), the Elite reunion was legitimately one of the most entertaining TV matches outside of Blood and Guts, and the contract signing was an amazing segment that puts to bed the whole "no story" rubbish you so often hear. The only reason this doesn't get a 10 is because they took their foot off the gas a little to keep energy levels up for the Collision taping, but even the women's tag match and the battle royale were pretty good. But it's a C2 episode; when is a C2 AEW show ever bad?"
