[10.0] "I'm certainly biased because I saw this live in the crowd, but this show was one of the best Collisions I've seen in a while. The energy of the crowd throughout was simply unmatched."

[10.0] "AEW Collision #123 - Winter Is Coming 2025 Day 2 ist einfach nur Perfekt. Was für eine Folge zu allen Matches jeweils mehr in den Guides. Die Folge fand ich sogar noch besser als die Dynamite Folge."

[4.0] "The show just got progressively worse as it went on. Swerve kicks things off with a win over Josh Alexander, which was cool. Then the Sisters of Sin take a loss to Hayter and Stat, Takeshita can't get a win over Claudio, and finally two underwhelming matches with JetSpeed fighting each other, and Briscoe defending his TNT title against Garcia."

[8.0] "A good show with two very good matches. You have to say, the Continental Classic has given us really good matches so far this year. A very solid main event and two matches that fell short of my expectations. But there was a very good audience in the hall, which created a really good atmosphere."

[6.0] "There's nothing which will really blow you away on this but it's all pretty watchable, especially with the novelty of the Welsh crowd. Schiavone mentioning however many hundred miles Cardiff is from Southampton when Hayter came out made me think of that old joke about two-hundred years being a long time to an American and two-hundred miles being a long way to a European. It's true. A decent match quality throughout, bolstered by a strong audience. Only the women's tag match dipped below 'Satisfactory' level. It was still mostly fine, but I do wonder what the long-term plans are for the division."

[6.0] "Solid show. The two CC matches were both good although I never once felt there would be a result in Claudio/Takeshita so it felt like another drawn out AEW Time Limit Draw. The rest was solid but featured foregone conclusions."

GimliJr wrote on 15.12.2025:
[5.0] "The show was elevated by the tournament matches once again. The opener and main event could have been a bit more developed, but it was still a good episode in terms of in-ring action. Unfortunately, I think the women's division really suffers from a lack of writing and mediocre matches, as was the case tonight. The entire episode was rather lacking in interesting segments, aside from the angle with Mercedes, which ultimately led to a 4-on-4 match that seems rather pointless. In-ring quality: 3/5. Angles and out-of-match segments: 0.25/3. Bonus/penalty: good atmosphere +0.25. Total: 5.5/10. Show watched on Triller TV."

[10.0] "- What a Crowd! - Satisfying Tournament Matches! - End 2 End show that didn't take my eyes off of the TV even for a single moment. Sometimes I feel Collision is better than Dynamite, lot of diversity!"

[6.0] "A solid Collision. There were 2 matches worth watching here with both Claudio/Takeshita and Briscoe/Garcia being pretty great. All the other matches were a pretty mixed bag, with Knight/Speedball being relatively decent, Swerve/Josh being average and the women's tag being extremely forgettable. Some good promos here to build up next week's C2 matches as well as some matches announced for World's End. Not too big on the world title 3 way because i just know that MJF is gonna announce his involvement at some point but the women's world title match of Jamie/Kris does sound quite good. Some good stuff on this show overall, but i dont think this was as strong as some recent Collisions. MOTN - Claudio Castagnoli vs. Konosuke Takeshita"

[10.0] "Excellent show, great atmosphere. I don't know how it came across on TV, but we got 13 live matches, including a number of Brits. I am still buzzing about this show 24+ hours later. 6+ hours of entertainment, was never boring at any point. Claudio Castagnoli and Konosuke Takeshita put on an excellent match. I was expecting this to be the main event but it made sense not to be in the end as it finished in a draw. Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight put on a banger too. The other 3 matches on Collision were really exciting too. Ring of Honour recordings and AEW Dark made it an awesome night and value for money event."
Patlabor wrote on 14.12.2025:
[7.0] "Very good last 3 matches, disappointing first 2. Crowd was a mixed bag for me. Sometimes too quiet or loudly singing songs unrelated to the action, other times they were great. Babes of Wrath celebration segment could've been better but because Women's segments need to shoehorn 3 divisions into one it had to be interrupted twice and they didn't even deliver a mission statement as a tag team. Relatively weak builds to Swerve in the world title match and Jamie in a world title match. Good CC promos from Fletcher and especially PAC, like the outside setting with the bricks, they should almost get rid of the generic backstage interviews and just adopt this style. I would say watch those two promos and last 3 matches and that's it."

[7.0] "Solid episode of Collision, not on the level of Dynamite earlier in the week but still had some good matches and segments like Babes Of Wrath/Timeless Love Bombs segment which was interesting especially when Mercedes Mone came out to the stage. Swerve Strickland vs Josh Alexander: Alexander targeted the knee of Strickland which he sold in a compelling way, the match for the opening match on Collision was pretty solid, Swerve winning was the right decision [***1/2]. Jamie Hayter & Kris Statlander vs Julia Hart & Skye Blue: A solid tag team match within the women's division, Blue and Hart had more team cohesion but Statlander and Hayter did a decent showing teaming up [***1/4]. Claudio Castagnoli vs Konosuke Takeshita: For 20 minutes this match was great with these two who are two of the most consistent wrestlers in AEW, they had a physically consistent match which was interesting from bell to bell, the time limit draw made for an interesting decision as would like to have seen a decisive winner but it was still a great watch, my second favourite C2 tournament match so far [****1/2]. Mike Bailey vs Kevin Knight: These two had an athletic contest, which was good to watch, could have gone either way with Bailey picking up the win, Knight had a decent showing [***1/2]. Mark Briscoe vs Daniel Garcia: Briscoe can put on a good match and this was no exception with a decent main event contest against Death Riders Garcia who can wrestle solidly but when Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta got involved which did not need to happen, Briscoe getting the win and retaining the title was good to see [***1/2]"

[10.0] "Near perfect show. High floor in terms of match quality and AEW is on a streak of efficient promos/segments. I think it's funny swerve has a visual of his house being burnt for his entrance. Shouldn't that upset him? The opener starts off mostly fine and the crowd is on fire as expected. Swerves offense is always nice to watch. Not a flawless match but the offense was interesting and the finishing details were pretty good, with Alexander losing his head gear on the house call. Simple effective promo afterwards. Quick DCF v The Elite vid pack. TLB with an appearance backstage. I really like Statlander's current look. Smart approach from the triangle of madness to use Thekla as a distraction here. Really enjoyed the dynamic between Kris and Hayter. The structure of this match early on was very good. The heels then take advantage and Julia starts with the rope walk (which I hate) and nearly overshot a standing moonsault. Skye's in-ring psychology has been nice lately, but she still doesn't have heel vibes. In-ring work here was mostly consistent tbh and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Thekla expressing interest in the title makes sense, but I don't get what she's waiting for. As soon as Skye and Julia find a more grounded gimmick, I'll be more invested in them. Effective angle between Stat and Hayter. Thought Takeshita v Claudio would main event. Early on here I felt like a few strikes didn't connect. Maybe too many guys are sore from previous matches so they've been asked to pull their strikes back. Once they stepped out the ring, the match picked up and the post swing submission sequence from Claudio was particularly good. Far from perfect but a very good, intense match. Great closing stretch with a predictable outcome, but fascinating post match angle with the brawl as well as the 2 factions facing off after the refs try to stop them. Excellent. Solid Jetspeed segment before the match. Babes of Wrath celebration starts of with fine mic work from both before TLB interrupt (possibly asking for a rematch). Was not expecting Mone but she does fine here, and Mina getting to tell her off was good given that she didn't get a great reaction initially. Solid segment in general and Mone's facial expression after Toni's final line was fantastic. Ricochet backstage and Dynamite diamond ring vid was good. Bailey v Knight was entertaining and flawless in execution. Speedballs back issues as a point of tension between the 2 was a nice touch. Felt like the crowd didn't do this justice. Some people won't be happy with this outcome (I'm one of them) but part of me also feels Bailey is getting underrated as a singles guy. However, I'm a bit surprised that Knight couldn't get it done with Bailey feeling the effects from the last match. This also makes me think PAC is beating Kyle on Wednesday. Both Fletcher and PAC had excellent promos (maybe the best on the show). Briscoe is a great babyface and Garcia does a really good job as an aggressive heel who's been influenced by Moxley in this main event. Solid solid match that justifies its place as main event, especially with that crowd reaction. Even the death riders shenanigans worked well here (although the ref looked a bit silly). Don't know about Dorada taking Hologram'a place. Wonder when he, O'reilly and Ishii will be back."
