[2.0] "Only one good match and that's it. For a show being hyped like WrestleMania, this felt like WrestleMania 27 because good lord this was horrible. 30 bucks to watch Cena get squashed? I think I'll pass on that."
[5.0] "This show was universally panned which isn't fair honestly because if you take out the two worst matches of the show which was the opener (worst match of the year) and probably the worst ppv/ple main event of the year besides mania 41 night 2 if it wasn't so forced then it would be a good show, seeing the Usos again was very fun and the vision got a big win on them. Seeing Knight be the ref was cool enough too. Seeing AJ Lee again was very fun that mixed tag went way too long but still had the big fight feel. The match of the night was Iyo vs Steph great match for the women's title with the right winner."
[4.0] "Brutal. A one match show in either direction. A women's world title classic couldn't cover up the blemish from the opener. This show feels like a bad omen, a harbinger of worse things to come. This is the type of show to ask a refund for, and the fact that the WWE expects you to pay $30 monthly for stuff like this is nothing but an insult."
[4.0] "This was not good, the Cena match was terrible. Iyo Vs Stephanie was great and the only good thing on the show and everything else was just fine or bad."
[7.0] "Brock Vs Cena was absolutely horrible and was a real sour start to the show, the booking was very predictable, and this show was way too overhyped for it trying to be as big as any of WWE's Big 4, but Usos Vs Breakker and Reed, Rhodes Vs McIntyre and the mixed tag match were all really solid, and IYO Vs Vaquer was incredible. Overall WWE Wrestlepalooza is a pretty solid show thanks to the strength of most of it's in ring product."
[5.0] "A pretty underwhelming show overall. A few matches had sparks of energy, but most of the card felt flat and predictable. The pacing dragged, the crowd never fully ignited, and nothing stood out as must-see. Not terrible, just disappointingly forgettable."
[1.0] "So I paid over thirty dollars just to watch the worst wrestling PPV/PLE of the year, ads in the middle of a PPV/PLE, and Cena get squashed for no reason on one of the few appearances he has left. The mixed tag match dragged on way too long for no reason why did Lynch tap just for AJ Lee to go ghost instead of setting up the feud. The only reason this is not a 0 is because of the women's match hope ESPN is happy with their new deal. (11/8/25)"
[6.0] "Wrestlepalooza? More like Wrestlezaloopa! /j. On a serious note, it is a Raw/Smackdown level show that got treated like it's Wrestlemania. And why? Because of some streaming platform that is even more pricey than Peacock or WWE Network? Anyways, the only matches worth watching are Vaquer vs Sky and The Usos vs The Vision. Cody vs Drew was ok, but the rest is either boring and dragged out(Punk & Lee vs Seth & Becky) or just weird(Cena vs Brock). Iirc, Dominik was supposed to defend the IC title on this show, but ig they cancelled it. Also, HHH promised us some surprises during the show and I didn't see any(does Cody vs Seth count? Probably not, that was after the show). So yeah, nothing special here."
[5.0] "Very mediocre event, that didn't fulfilled the hype its promised with the new ESPN partnership. The card was interesting on paper, but honestly it was so uninteresting, pretty much a waste of time. The only match that truly made me feel was the mixed tag team match, only because of the natural intrigue a matchup like this cause, and the story was a little fun, but it was still kinda corny and childish, so it shouldn't be the only thing that made me truly react. The other matches were fillers, and Cena/Brock was pure trash, so disrespectful to John and absolutely unnecessary."
[5.0] "An epic and grand introduction, a disappointing and dumb opening match, three really good matches back to back, and then a dull, lifeless, mediocre main event. This pretty much sums up this PPV. I won't even get into the ESPN stuff, people living in the US have already voiced their frustrations clearly enough. I watched on Netflix as a foreign viewer, and from what I can tell, WWE is trying hard to position itself as a massive sports brand on the level of the NFL or NBA. HHH wants to make people take WWE seriously. Whether it feels genuine to you or not, it's definitely being pushed very strongly that's for sure. You can definitely sense that we've entered a new "sub-era, " and I'm curious to see what doors it opens and what it ends up changing. All I'll say is this: it's obvious 2025 has been an awful year for WWE's storytelling aspect. "Wrestlepalooza" carried all the marks of that, and the weak storylines were very noticeable throughout."
[7.0] "It was fine, definitely didn't hate it. I completely understand why Lesnar went over the way that he did, even though it seems like they don't have any further plans for him. It wouldn't be believable for this Cena to beat him, and it would've put Brock in a very precarious position. Cody vs. Drew was fine, Vaquer vs. Iyo was good even though I didn't really care and the mixed tag team match stole the show, even if AJ was a little rusty. That said, absolutely love her and hope there are more plans for her. I do get the ESPN hate, though."
[4.0] "The commercials really killed this show for me. Like are you fucking serious WWE. The matches themselves were fine i guess imo. Stephanie and Iyo is the only thing worth going back to watch unless your a super fan or some shit. If I also recall it was well over 30 minutes into the show untill actual wrestling took place onna wrestling show. I'm just so disappointed with the show as a whole"
[4.0] "So this wasn't covered with my ESPN package and had to pay extra premium missing the start of the show just in time to see Lesnar completely squashing Cena in one of his final date, Kids crying in the crowd and ADS on a PLE/PPV."
[6.0] "Wrestlepalooza clearly wanted to position itself as a big milestone, and the opening video did succeed in giving it that weight. The Undertaker's cameo was a cool touch too, but the production and setup still made it feel like just another PLE. With only 5 matches stretched across 3 hours, the pacing was strange, especially since not all of them landed. IYO vs Vaquer was the obvious highlight, a genuine classic that made the show worth checking out. The rest varied from solid to disappointing, with Brock vs Cena easily the low point. Overall, a mixed bag that didn't fully meet its hype."
[5.0] "In 2012 Lesnar returned and lost to Cena, and it was terrible booking. In 2025 Lesnar returns, destroys Cena, and it's still terrible booking. Funny how things work out. (The actual action in that opening match was pretty by-the-numbers for a Lesnar semi-squash, incidentally.) The best here was Sky vs Vaquer, which was just a great match well worth going out of your way to see. I also thought the Usos vs Breakker/Reed match was quite good; as much as I don't really like the Usos as singles, they're still good as a team, and this match also did a great job of putting the heels (especially Breakker) over. The mixed tag was... eh. It had some OK stuff, but I've never been a huge fan of the mixed-tag match format anyway, and this one went easily twice as long, if not longer, than it should have. Rhodes vs McIntyre was also just OK; nothing specifically bad about it, but it was very much a placeholder match to give Cody something to do until his next feud, and they worked the match accordingly; very much a by-the-numbers match that would be perfectly solid as a house show or TV main event but never got out of second gear by PPV match standards. Ultimately a middle-of-the-road show with one major highlight in the Women's Title match."
[7.0] "Of the 5 matches on the card, 4 of them ranged from good to amazing. The one bad match, Lesnar vs Cena, was quite disappointing and felt like a bit of a waste for cena's retirement tour, but also did a very good job at setting up Lesnar as a threat in the future. The vision vs the usos was quite good, and LA Knight as guest referee led to an interesting dynamic, as well as allowed for more lax rules and some fun extreme rules spots. vaquer vs sky, despite having no build since it was a match for a vacant title, was match of the night, one of the best women's matches ive ever watched. AJ Lee's comeback match teaming up with CM Punk against Becky Lynch and Rollins, while it did go a little longer than it probably should've, was still very good. Its not very often you see men and women wrestlers both get physical with each other in wwe. And Cody vs Drew was a decent, though slightly underwhelming title affair. However, it seems itll likely lead to another match between them down the line considering some of the things that happened during the match. All in all, a good PLE"
[7.0] "A last second slap together show including multiple controversies in its prep stage isn't a great launching point for a PLE, but this far exceeds expectations. Cena v Brock falls flat (but at least we can die happy seeing how happy those kids were before watching their hero die). Usos v Brons was absolutely chaos in the best way. The women's match is a generational fight that shouldn't be forgotten for years. The marriage match was 15 minutes too long but great action when it wanted to be fun.and a main event most people forgot was happening turned out to be a great watch that made drew look like a monster. Good show for being born out of a proper clusterfuck."
[3.0] "This might be the worst PPV I've seen this year. The opening match was hype-heavy but poorly executed, setting the tone for the entire event. It's like a restaurant capable of serving great food using premium ingredients to cook an unbearable dish--such a lazy and unacceptable approach is essentially tarnishing their own reputation. Only the Women's World Title Match and the Mixed Tag Team Match managed to be somewhat entertaining."
[4.0] "Out of all the average ples wwe has put on this year this might've been the most disappointing one so far Thought with aj lees comeback that it was gonna be one if not the ple of the year as honestly i havent seen much great ples aside from evolution or maybe elimination chamber. Turns out the show was straight garbage with bad matches after bad matches minus IYO vs stephanie vaquer. Which is why im giving this a 4/10 rather than a 2 or 3."
"This was incredibly disappointing. ADS on a PLE, Cena being sqaushed by Bork Lesnar in 2025, Drew once again failing to capture a world title for the 100th time... The only matches which I enjoyed watching were the pure graps of Vaquer vs. SKY and the mix tag match which although wasn't the best wrestling match, had some really great spots and was overall fun to watch."
[6.0] "This show gave me a deja-vu, I haven't watch much WWE after mid 2024 (i think i stopped after summer slam). I swear this card is basically that era's lesser PLE card. I can't possibly believe the amount of old men in this show. It looks like WWE utterly failed to create new stars except for women. I know that WWE loves milking nostalgia but that's too much even for me. We had: 1.Repeat of 2015 Cena v Lesnar but both of them older and sloppier 2.Forgettable Tag match with Usos entrance (whom i still can't believe are over with that corny ass gimmick) that took 5 f*cking minutes. 3.Only match really worth watching that meant something in IYO and Stephanie (IYO holding the belt still made me feel like nothing has changed in over a year) 4.Horrible Monday Night Raw main event ass match with AJ Lee being horrible in the ring (seriously I loved her back in the day but her appearance was awful 5.Serviceable but predictable main event because they won't take the belt of Cody unless it's big show Mediocre to the point of being insulting, it's only a 6 not a 4 because of women's match."
[5.0] "The matches on this PLE were underwhelming for the most part but one match was the exception and that being the Women's World Title match, an underwhelming PLE and there were more than enough ad breaks as well which made this not that interesting. The Undertaker announcing Stephanie McMahon being inducted into the 2026 Hall Of Fame was a surprise but nice to see she is finally being recognised for all her time in WWE. Brock Lesnar vs John Cena: Not a good match even though Cena did get a bit of offense in, it felt like an extended glorified squash match, this match was a case of should not have happened, Lesnar winning was the wrong choice here and they were not given the time as they were only given 8 minutes, felt more like a TV match as opposed to a PLE [*1/4]. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed vs Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso: Felt like it was longer than needed to be, there were tables and chairs brought into play that should not have done, LA Knight could have done a better job as the special guest referee, it was overall fine though but needed to be booked better and The Usos should have won [**1/2]. Stephanie Vaquer vs IYO SKY: A great match between these two, they showcased women's wrestling in a good way and Vaquer winning the vacant title was the right choice here, good sequences and moments made this an interesting watch [****]. AJ Lee & CM Punk vs Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins: This match was made for nostalgia reasons, but Lee did look a bit sloppy at times and the match did go on longer than needed to, it could have done with 5 or 10 minutes cut off the time, Lee and Punk winning was good to see, there were a couple of good moments but overall was booked beneath what it should have been [***]. Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre: Cody seemed off during this match and it could have cost him the title, Drew hurt his leg during a spot which also affected him, seemed better suited for an episode of Smackdown and not a PLE with a title match of this quality [**3/4]"
[6.0] "Eh, the show was kinda underwhelming, or maybe I was hyped for no reason? I thought they'd do something special since it was their first PPV on ESPN, but I was wrong. Lesnar squashing Cena wasn't fun at all, and the Mixed tag team match was very messy and boring at times. The main event felt like a normal TV match, and was very disappointing. The Vision vs. The Usos and Vaquer vs. Iyo Sky were the only saving graces of the show, especially the women's match, as the two women stole the show. Overall, the show felt extremely random and weird throughout and didn't feel like an important event at all."
[6.0] "A extremely weird PPV, I thought the only bad match was the HORRIBLE match Cena had with the POS Brock Lesnar, but I liked the rest of this show, but something like the pacing, AD BREAKS ON PPV, but it had two match I though were great, the Women's Match and the Mixed Match"
[2.0] "WWE Wrestepazoola fails to deliver on many fronts, revealing itself as a lackluster and uninspired product. The production quality is subpar, with poorly executed camera work and awkward editing that detracts from the viewing experience. The storytelling is predictable and clichéd, relying heavily on tired tropes rather than innovative narratives. The characters lack depth, often portrayed as one-dimensional caricatures rather than compelling personalities, making it difficult to invest emotionally. The matches themselves are often sloppy, with botched moves and a noticeable lack of chemistry between performers. This indicates a decline in training standards and a focus on spectacle over skill. Moreover, the scripting feels forced, with dialogue that is cringe-worthy and fails to capture the audience's interest. The overall presentation seems outdated, failing to adapt to modern entertainment standards. The promotion and marketing are equally lackluster, with little effort to engage new viewers or retain existing fans. In essence, WWE Wrestepazoola appears to prioritize quantity over quality, resulting in a product that is neither exciting nor credible. For fans seeking genuine athleticism and compelling storytelling, Wrestepazoola is a disappointing experience that falls far short of its potential."
[4.0] "To say this was underwhelming would be an understatement. Outside of the women's world title match, this felt like just another episode of Raw or SmackDown. The opening Cena-Lesnar match. I'm not against having Lesnar win since they're clearly building to Survivor Series. But people paid to see a match, not a squash. And that's what this was. This was the marquee match on most of the posters and it was just a squash. Moving on. Vision vs the Usos again felt like a standard Raw match. Not bad, but nothing memorable either. Stephanie vs IYO was the saving grace of this entire event. The only match you should go out of your way to see. It's just an amazing match from two of the best women in the world capped off by a perfect corkscrew moonsault and the win felt SPECIAL (unlike everything else). AJ & Punk vs Seth & Becky is a match that people seem to like for nostalgia reasons, but it's not for me. It just looked ridiculous at times. The men's world heavyweight champion almost tapping out to a 5' 2" woman having her first match in 10 years? What are we doing here? The main event on the card was a decent match. But that's it. I can tune into an episode of SmackDown or SNME and see this. Also the 2nd shortest match of the night and with no surprises or turns or anything interesting. So this was a swing and a miss for me, especially for the first PLE on ESPN, other than the Stephanie vs IYO match which everyone should check out."
[8.0] "Despite the opener's lame stinker, I STILL enjoyed everything else on the ppv here. The 2 best matches of the night were undoubtedly The Vision (aka Seth Rollins/Becky Lynch) vs CM Punk/AJ Lee and Stephanie Vaquer vs Io Shirai. The other 2 matches were also very good in my book. I give Wrestlepalooza an 8 out of 10 here. I blame the opener (aka Brock Lesnar since that was HIS match style) for bringing the mood down in the first place."
[6.0] "I guess it was fine. Nothing here really stunk, but it also didn't feel like the kind of huge show you'd expect for ESPN's premiere PLE. Things started with a surprising result, as Brock basically squashed Cena - but I didn't mind it, since the match itself kept me engaged. The Usos vs Bron & Bronson unfortunately slipped into ECW-style chaos, though I still enjoyed Breakker and Reed as a tag team. Vaquer vs IYO was a proper wrestling match, with crisp chain work and action that didn't rely on endless finisher spam. The mixed tag, on the other hand, went on far too long - a shame, because the build was excellent and they clearly had some fantastic spots planned. Finally, Cody vs Drew closed the show, though I still don't understand why it was the main event. That said, it was a very solid effort, built smartly around both men's injuries. The result was predictable, but the match itself was very enjoyable."
[6.0] "I will say this PLE is getting a bad rap. Sure it wasn't a great show, but by no means was it a bad show. It was just another average show. Sure the Brock vs Cena match was bad, but we knew it was going to be bad and it was also less than 10 minutes so at least they ended the match quickly. This match also gets counteracted by another solid Women's match (yes once again the women are the MVP this year). All the rest of the matches aka the other 3 were serviceable matches. So yeah kinda disappointing for how much HHH hyped this show but for just another C PLE it lives up to expectation. Though I can't believe they couldn't squeeze another match on the card with this only being 5 matches when usually these smaller shows have 6 matches."
[8.0] "8 equals good. I liked that I saw. I had fun watching it. The wrestling purists are correct - it didn't showcase the stars best work. But did I feel the electricity? Yep! Did Iyo and Steph do wonders? Yep! Did I get to see Jey Uso bust his own head open? YEEP!"
[5.0] "This show was very underwhelming, especially how big of a deal WWE was making it. The only real good thing on the card was Vaquer vs Sky in my opinion everything else was just mediocre and Lesnar vs Cena was just terrible."
[8.0] "Lesnar squashing Cena is not good and Cena's retirement tour probably one of the worst retirement tours. Cody vs Drew shouldn't be the main event because everyone knows Cody not gonna lose the title if it's not Wrestlemania or Summerslam. But show was fun. Crowd was good, matches were solid and enjoyable. It deserves a better rating for sure."
[3.0] "One really good match, two average matches, and one piece of shit. That's not a winning formula by any metric the fans want to use. I will also drop at least one point whenever McAfee is on commentary."
[4.0] "A PLE full of matches that went too long and felt like it. WWE is incredibly self indulgent when it comes to big firsts or debuts on networks and it feels less like a show and more like I'm sitting in on a board meeting. I feel very sorry for the Americans who apparently had to pay $35-40 to watch this - I would have been fuming but fortunately I was just bored and $40 richer."
[2.0] "Horrible PLE actually HORRIBLE. I didn't think WWE could top being as bad as 2019 but 2025 is really pushing it. This PLE was nothing but a cash grab feel bad for whoever paid to watch this. Only good thing was Iyo vs Stephanie and AJ's return to action for nostalgia. Worst PLE of 2025"
[2.0] "Not fun. The Cena match turned me off the whole show, and the rest of the card turned me off the entire company. Then you get to the title match--the most important match of the night--and it gets only half the time of another match whose story was written like a Turkish soap opera or a K-drama. Imagine that: the world title playing second fiddle to a low-budget drama script. If that's the direction, it might turn me off wrestling altogether. ( Vaquer vs iyo is an exception)"
[5.0] "This average show was saved by the Women's Championship match. I am already at odds end with the current WWE product and if this would have been the first show I would have seen, I don't think I would continue watching."
[4.0] "4/10, for the big welcome to the ESPN era, I feel like it didn't give us a lot to look forward to for the future. I don't vibe with the lackluster Brock squash on Cena which reeked of "we have Brock v Cena at SS 2014 at home", coz it gives you the hunch that this is what Cena's focus will be on for the last of the tour. I got chills from the Cena entrance and Heyman callback at least. I guess they had it first coz they weren't confident with the match quality and felt it wouldn't be a good look for them with it main eventing. Usos vs Vision was adequate and LA Knight as special guest ref gave a bit more sauce with a touch of extreme, not there wasn't much to talk about outside of that. Steph winning the gold was the right call and I'm excited to see what's next in store for her. The Mixed Tag could've been a bit more chaotic than it ended up being, because the stalling and taunting kinda slowed it down. Things picked up eventually at least. And lastly, we have the main event. Drew starts dominant while Cody's not feeling his usual self, and it ends up being a typical babyface comeback affair. It's fine, but nothing major. Without any returns (besides Pat McAfee on commentary, or Taker to announce Steph going into the HOF) or other shocking moments or surprises that HHH was on about, it just feels like business as usual, rather than starting off this era with a real bang. They gotta start adding more storytelling to PLEs and not just weekly shows to make 'em seem important again. It felt kinda like the RAW Netflix Debut episode, where they treated it like the biggest thing ever, but it ended up being kinda meh. And I don't wanna get started on the damn ads, but that's on the ESPN format I guess. At least there weren't adbreaks mid-match."
[3.0] "One very good match in Vaquer and IYO. I should be excited for what's coming up next, but instead am getting bored and scrolling on my phone because I'm waiting for the advertising to be finished. If this was not included in Netflix, I would not be going out of my way to order or watch this show."
[4.0] "So this was a PPV? Really? Because I still don't get it. For a paid show this was straight-up garbage. Yeah, the star power was there who cares? Names alone don't make a show. Brock squashing Cena in 8 minutes? Another recycled tag team match we've seen a million times? A mixed tag nobody asked for and nobody cares about? And then the WWE title match with Super Cody of course he has to win, because HHH said last year it's "his era." Spare me. What are we even watching at this point? Thank God for the women's title match, the only thing that actually saved this from being a total embarrassment. But overall? Disaster. As always in 2025. Next stop, Crown Jewel aka absolutely nothing happens."
[7.0] "Overall it was a good show that actually overhated. 4 of 5 matches were intresting with great wrestling or fun-service. Also we get a destructive match between Lesnar and Cena that was not that bad and Undertaker's surprise announcement of induction Stephanie McMahon in 2026 Hall of Fame. The main issue of this show that we don't get a real high-level event that opened cooperation of WWE and ESPN. Anything trully big ain't happened on Wrestlepalooza. And the worst part is commercial breaks on a PLE! Besides of that show was good, but expectations much higher."
[0.0] "Another bullsh*t PPV by the genius booker named Triple H. Did you really wasted one of John Cena's final matches in a BROCK LESNAR SQUASH? WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU DO THAT? Super Cody Rhodes retaining the title in convincing way without even selling the beating he got the night before, and once again you humilliate Drew McIntyre, the most criminally underrated guy in HHH's era. The only match that was PPV worthy was Iyo vs Vaquer, but I'll need more than that to give a higher rating to any show booked by the 2019 Vince McMahon named Paul Levesque"
[7.0] "Decent PLE despite the 5-card; but could have definitely benefited with a few more matches. Cena vs. Lesnar was the weakest of the night in multiple ways. Spammed finishers and instant recoveries is bad - no one looks good here. Using 2 Cena appearances on a 2014 repeat and the inevitable upcoming rematch win seems... Wasteful. The only thing interesting here is Brock potentially joining/allying with The Vision. Uso's vs. Bron's was fun. The guest ref twist gave the match a no rules edge which was sorely needed to spice things up. Jey hitting himself in the face with a chair was gnarly. Vaquer vs. Sky was a 10/10 certified banger (I'd expect nothing less from Iyo) and Stephanie's finisher was amazing. As much as I like Iyo, Stephanie is the right winner. Very interested to see what happens next for the women's championship. Punk/AJ vs. Seth/Becky was great (started slow but got better and better) Lots of fun interactions and satisfying synchronised moves. AJ looked very good considering the lengthy break. Nice set up for AJ to challenge for the IC title. Rhodes vs. McIntyre was good and this one deserves a rematch given the refless 3-count. I was fully expecting a twist or title change given it main eventing, but the quality of the match held its own, even though the ending was a little lukewarm. The crowd have definitely cooled on Cody a bit; they were absolutely ready for a new champion."
"This was a very surprising PPV that was was announced with a short notice. I didn't have high expetations but I was very pleased with the show. I found Lesnar and Cena match interesting, it was nice to see Usos teaming again and Vaquer winning the title."
[6.0] "While this show wasn't terrible apart from the opener, it was a very run-of-the-mill show that didn't live up to the hype WWE and ESPN were putting into it. This felt like a Fastlane or SNME, as nothing noteable happened, and there was 1 good match. Iyo vs Stephanie was the clear MOTY, and the only thing above average here. 6/10"
[3.0] "This was a mess. Figuring out how to watch this shit was an agonizing adventure and the actual event was mediocre at best. Outside of the opener none of the matches were bad but they felt like raw and smackdown matches. Nothing about this show felt like special. There were not big surprises like Triple H promised which turns a mediocre show into a massive letdown. $30 a month for this? This was hyped up to be a revolutionary show fostering a new era. If AEW can't jump on this massive opportunity there is truly no hope"
[5.0] "[5, 5/10] WWE promised us a banger for their debut on ESPN and completely failed. Thanks for Sky vs. Vaquer and for the 2v2 Mixed, but even that match wasn't that great."
[7.0] "For a typical WWE show it was good. Honestly both companies, with their own style of performance, were able to deliver an enjoyable show, with all the lows and weak moments. From the beginning I knew so far, that was the worst in the Cena retirement tour, the other anticipated mixed tag match turned into a intergender-like tornado match was good, great chemistry on both, I'm not so sure if I'd like to see an Aj Lee single match seeing her first performance after 10 years, idn could be wrong.Despite the timing now, the Cody/McIntyre feud could be much more interesting, hoping they could do something again in the future."
