[9.0] "Other than the somewhat wobbly Suzume match, incredibly solid from top to bottom, with a hell of a semi-main event. Other than that tag match, nothing world beating, but just very good joshi graps."
[7.0] "HIMAWARI & Ren Konatsu vs Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami: They had the right amount of time to showcase what they can do, all four are trying to prove that they deserve to be further up the card, a solid opening tag team match [***]. Andreza Giant Panda & Raku vs Kyoko Inoue & Pom Harajuku: A match that was enjoyable to watch from bell to bell with the comedy in play here as expected, worth a watch just for the comedy [***]. Kira Summer, Mifu Ashida, Toga & Wakana Uehara vs Chika Nanase, Kaya Toribami, Mahiro Kiryu & Yuna Manase: A solid back and forth multi woman match here with all involved showed their strengths and got to have their moment [***1/4]. Haru Kazashiro & Yuki Aino vs Arisu Endo & Jada Stone vs VENY & Yuki Kamifuku: A fun three way tag match with everyone involved having a showing at least once, there were some fun moments and I did enjoy this [***1/4]. Chris Brookes & Emi Sakura vs El Desperado & Maki Itoh: A mix of comedy wrestling within the first half and more serious wrestling in the second half, some cool spots throughout, Emi and her bleeding nose was a surprise, a fun watch, more enjoyable than I expected to be [***3/4]. Miyu Yamashita vs Billie Starkz: I really enjoyed this match, Starkz despite still being a bit green in the ring was decent against someone like Yamashita, they both gave as good as they got, some risky spots like the Death Valley Driver off the apron, would like to have seen Starkz get the win but Yamashita got a hard fought win [****]. Moka Miyamoto vs Suzume: Suzume carried Moka in this one, the match in itself was fine and Moka winning the title did not make total sense yet as she is still a bit green in the ring [**1/2]. Hyper Misao & Shoko Nakajima vs Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi: What a match for these four involved, there was comedy included at the start but then as time went on the match went up a level like every minute, they had cohesion tag wrestling and I absolutely liked this match so much it should be a TJPW MOTYC [****3/4]. Mizuki vs Yuki Arai: While it was a good match, it did have to follow one of the best matches in TJPW so far in 2025 and they had a great showing, might have been better with a couple of minutes knocked off of it to improve the pacing as did feel a bit dragged out [****]"
[7.0] "It was fine overall but for one of the biggest shows of the year I'd prefer a bit stronger top card. Undercard was really solid but the choice of putting some of the less experienced talent in the top spotlight didn't really pay off for me."
[6.0] "A fine show, but pretty far below TJPW's high standards for their big matches. I expected slightly more out of the main event, much more out of Starkz vs Yamashita, and unfortunately got exactly what I expected with the International title match, with Suzume doing her best but ultimately not being able to drag Moka out of mediocrity. The tag title match however absolutely blew my expectations away, and will no doubt go down as one of the best in the company's history. As one more plus, the rookies in the opening tag matches really really overdelivered here--the future of the company looks very bright in the hands of Wakana, HIMAWARI, Toga, even the recently much-improved Kaya Toribami."
[7.0] "Aside for the tag team match between Kyoraku Kyomei and Hakuchumu there will not be match that i will go back rewatching, this aside a fine show slightly disappointing from my point of view but still really enjoyable, i liked the booking of so much outsider wrestlers and i really hope they will continue to book wrestlers from other federations."
[8.0] "Very enjoyable as is pretty Much standard for TJPW. This didn't have some of the emotional highs of past big shows, and I thought the Moka match wasn't up to par, but the tag title match is as good a match in this company as any this year."
[9.0] "TJPW continues their hot streak and being one of the most entertaining promotions going. This had everything from over the top comedy with Andreza the Giant Panda to awesome in-ring wrestling. Definitely something for everyone and a great show overall."
[9.0] "I watch A LOT of wrestling from a lot of different promotions. WWE (NXT), AEW (ROH), TNA, NJPW, NOAH, DDT, TJPW, CMLL are what I do my best to follow. That means I usually watch select matches from shows and in the case of Japan, that means the last 5-6 matches. I watched the last 5 here. I very much enjoyed this. I agree with others that the international princess title match was the weakest but 1 out of 5 is a great average. Overall a great show!"
[7.0] "An ordinary PPV event, despite featuring many wrestlers from other companies, didn't have much positive impact. The pairing of El Desperado and Maki Itoh is really weird. Fortunately, TJPW performed at their high level in the last two matches, which very happily."
[9.0] "Card delivered up and down for me, apart from a scary risky Billie Starkz performance and a weak IP title match. Everyone was putting their all into the show"
[7.0] "I just watched this event and... well, it wasn't bad, but it's not TJPW's best by any stretch. The opening of the show with Raku's Panda was fun. The match between Chris Brookes and Emi Sakura defeating El Desperado and Maki Itoh was entertaining. I liked Miyu's performance against Billie Starkz, and the Princess Tag Team Title match is a must-watch. The main event is also highly recommended. But what takes points away from this otherwise good event is the decision to take the International Princess title away from Suzume and give it to one of the worst female wrestlers in all of TJPW, who is mostly average. Also, the match itself was garbage by TJPW standards. I'm still going to give it a 7 because I can't take away any credit from the rest of the matches."
[10.0] "They knocked it out the park yet again! For my money, this was the best Tojo undercard in a long long time, every single match felt interesting, unique and were perfectly paced. Even seemingly throwaway tags absolutely delighted me (also since we can't rate it yet, the opener was fantastic and blew me away! I really recommend it! ) And standing tall at the top of the card were two genuine MOTY contenders, and what will probably go down as one of my favourite matches of all time in Kyoraku Kyomei vs Daydream. TJPW big shows always feel like a delightful pick and mix, a true variety show of creative wrestling to suit a whole array of different tastes; truly, TJPW never misses!"
[9.0] "Great big TJPW event with a lot of strong matches and a surprisingly strong undercard. The only match that underdelivered for me was the IP title match which ended a bit suddenly. The tag match is a legit MOTYC and nobody takes it easy on this card, even the opening acts are impressive for this one."
[9.0] "Only complaint is Andreza act is getting a little stale. I also thought the crowd was weak throughout the show. Chiika's new look was alright. Toribami's new look was great. A bloody Emi Sakura still getting the win was nice. Billie Starkz smashed Miyu's head on the apron which was really scary. Moka won the international title for her first championship. Kyoraku Kyomei retaining is a solid choice. For the main event I was very surprised Yuki Arai didn't win. She prints money and I thought Koda was finally going to put the title on her. Still the show was great. Definitely watch it. One final note is on English commentary. Jada Stone was excellent. I really hope she continues doing commentary wherever she is because she is very talented at it. Fumirin was also good just a little nervous. I hope they keep trying new people at the desk because Baliyan Akki isn't good anymore."
[9.0] "TJPW's Summer Sun series has become a yearly staple that has gotten unanimous adoration from fans, and this was yet another great edition of it. The opening two matches were entertaining, with Andreza, Raku, Pom and Kyoko producing a comedic gem. The next two matches did what they needed to, before Maki, Despy, Emi and Chris Brooks upped the show to the next level. Miyu vs. Billie was pretty good with some great moments, although it went a bit longer than it needed to. The IP title match was well-paced, and while I don't love the result, I'm not mad at it either. The tag title match was fantastic, with good comedy and some truly insane moments. It deserved to be the longest match and was a classic to me, while the main event was also very good (even if it felt long at times) and with the right result. Yuki will have her time, but it wasn't now and I'm happy that TJPW didn't shoehorn a title change. It was a long show, especially by TJPW standards, but it was really, really good as well. I wish it wasn't on a Monday, but I get it, and the attendance figure was quite nice as well. Hopefully this will be remembered for how good it was, and will cause an upswell in momentum for a company that has consistently delivered in quality all year."
[10.0] "Clearly one of the best PPV of the year for me, the show was fluid, the matches were well linked, as usual with TJPW we have a good dose of entertainment, the first 4 matches were good and the 5 big matches were excellent, congratulations Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling for giving us another great PPV this year"
