[10.0] "That episode was so great so great focusing on the storylines the darby allin angel was insane orange cassidy's return was executed in an awesome and creative way"
[8.0] "Had a lot of fun watching this episode, the action was solid and surprinsingly consistent through the entire 2-hours, what gets the extra points for me are the Women's Tag Belts (did you really need to copy the design tho? ) and for sure Kris Statlander rejecting the Death Riders, a very good ending, the best in a good while and one of the best I recall watching."
[7.0] "Far away from the best Dynamites of the year but still pretty good. Nice opener, Orange's return, tag belts and a good first defense for Stat. On the negative side, Claudio vs Hobbs was dissapointing, I expected something more similar to the meat war Hobbs had with Miro time ago, it felt really slow. Also, I still liked better the previous Stat presentation. Mina is improving a lot, tho."
[8.0] "An decent episode of dynamite. This was essentially a precursor to next week's dynamite, which is shaping up to be massive as it is a milestone episode. Not a fan of world champs issuing open challenges, and would much rather have them build up to a program. The matches were decent, and the closing segment was awesome."
[9.0] "Really enjoyed this week's Dynamite. Brodido are shaping up to be stellar tag team champs, and they wrestle quite often, which makes me happy. GOA are awesome and I'm happy to see them getting these big opportunities, and their match was hard hitting and face paced. The World Title match against Lee Moriarty was exactly what it was meant to be, a fight that showed the promise that Lee Moriarty has while making clear he's not at Hangman's level. Orange Cassidy's return made me happy, and the match itself was really damn good, a constant for Conglomeration & DCF multi-mans. Claudio & Hobbs was so different from anything else on the card, which helped it stand out greatly. Happy that we're getting women's tag belts, hope we get a tourney bracket soon-ish. The Statlander & Shirakawa match was really good, Stat's a great face world champ. The post match, where she stayed a good guy and flipped off Moxley was a really good swerve, the kind you don't expect."
[7.0] "An enjoyable Dynamite overall, with some high points, but a slightly uneven pace. I don't understand the point of Hangman defending the Men's World Title in the middle of the show against Lee Moriarty, who clearly wasn't going to win. Otherwise, I enjoyed the opening match and the great segment between FTR and Willow and Jet Speed. It's great to see the return of Orange Cassidy too. MJF had a fantastic promo. The main event was fun."
[7.0] "Mostly solid show. Brodido vs GOA was fire. I like the idea of Hangman vs Lee Moriarty but it was "good wrestling happening in front of me". Wasn't into it. I really liked Statlander vs Mina and on that note, hey AEW, you've got Ospreay, Swerve and Kenny out. BOOK TWO WOMEN'S MATCHES! The Division is stacked and the fans are excited to see it get elevated. Feels like shooting yourself in the foot by not featuring it more."
[8.0] "Dynamite opens with a backstage promo from Hangman ahead of his open challenge against Lee Moriarty tonight as he tells Kyle not to let him down in future. As we go into the open contest which is The world tag titles match between Brodido and GOA. Yeah this was a really fun opener with some nice moments. We then get a backstage interview with the conglomeration ahead of there match with the DCF tonight teasing orange coming back with lots of jokes and references but then there is a short el clone clip. We then get a backstage interview with Kris Statlander ahead of her match with Mina tonight. We then go into the Men's World title open challenge with Hangman defending against Lee Moriarty and we get a great video package for Lee before the match. Yeah this match was mint Lee showed out. We then get to see Cope and Christian talking to each other after all out. FTR then come out to the ring to answer for what they did after the match at All out and they spend most of it insulting Beth Copeland saying they dropped her on her head by accident. but they're interrupted by Willow and she talks about how Beth was one of her inspirations and she Slaps Big Stoke and Jetspeed come in to back her up (give me Willow and Jetspeed vs FTR and big Stoke next week). We then get a post match promo after all out from MJF where he says he was once the biggest guy in wrestling until Adam Cole came into his life and how he is ready to come back and take back his Triple B and he is gonna do it his way wether we like it or not. We then go into the Conglomeration Vs DCF and Don brings out another one of his panting but it is Orange Cassidy in the Frame and he Strolls into the ring to squares up with Take and Okada. Really fun high paced match then in the Pspr match The TNT Champion the Protostar Kyle Fletcher comes out to offer Hologram a Shot at his Belt as he is 34-0 and Kyle will be the one to end his streak and calls him out for 6th anniversary next week. (El clone debut I assume). We then get a backstage interview with Mina ahead of the main event and how she is fighting for both her and Toni. We then get a video package for Jurassic Express and they are making their return next Wednesday. We then go into Hobbs vs Claudio. Pretty fun meat hoss battle with PAC helping Claudio get the win but as Joe and Hobbs fight of the Death riders it ends up 4v2 but Hanger comes out to clear the ring. We then get Tony's big announcement is and it is finally the Women's tag team titles (Thank fuck finally) and Renee reveals the new Straps (gorgeous belts). We then go straight into the women's world title main event. Yeah this was a really fun title defence and more Stat death riders law and all of them come out and then the music hits and Mox arrives like a video game final boss but Stat Lariats Yuta and Tells Mox to fuck off and as her and Harley climb the steps Darby comes out with a fucking Flame thrower and Calls out Mox for an I quit match at wrestledream to end the show. Yeah a pretty enjoyable show with all 5 matches being really solid and with some great Advancements in stories up and done the card and some nice teases for El Clone and some good matches announced for Saturday and next weeks 6th anniversary."
[7.0] "Solid episode but nothing spectacular. Plenty of time to build to Wrestledream so it didn't have to be. The five matches were decent enough but more could have been done to follow up Mark Briscoe's huge win over MJF. It's great to see Orange Cassidy back. The end of the show was the highlight, with Statlander taking out Wheeler Yuta and giving Jon Moxley the middle finger before exiting through the crowd. Another Darby Allin vs Jon Moxley match is will be bloody but fun. Overall, it was a pretty fine episode."
[8.0] "I thought it was a pretty complete show with 3 matches for a championship and the continuation of the stories, the only thing I would miss would be the return of Orange Cassidy who seemed a bit bland to me and the match for the tag team championship had a lack of chemistry."
[5.0] "This is a background noise episode. The "AEW "Men's" World Championship" has less prestige than the regular "AEW World Championship". The big news, which is of no real surprise, is that the women's tag belts are here. I'm okay with it, just please get rid of some of these other belts. Okada is still carrying two fake belts, Mercedes has more belts than one promotion needs, we still get ROH belts appearing all over the show, and the entire trios division buries everyones who enters it including the champs. The matches on this show have a pretty standard level of "Okay", but it's like all post PPV shows and feels mostly thrown together."
[3.0] "Really poor fallout show from All Out which I found to be underwhelming as well. Winter stretches are always brutal for this company because the booking usually falls apart and the signs are worrying. The Deathriders still being the focal point is so boring, now they've inflicted the women's division main event scene as well, riveting. Opps vs deathriders is a never ending, dreadful feud and looks like it'll keep going. Hangman is directionless and next week they're putting him back in the deathriders vortex. This faction has gone way past its expiration date, All In should have been the end but we're still going to see the Darby vs Mox match yet again with not much changing. The match quality in this show was very average, nothing to stand out. Women's tag title introduction feels like a positive on the surface however I'd have to see them make it work before I believe this is going to end up not being a disaster, call me cynical but it feels like a very ''here you go damn! '' kind of deal. After all women's division is a complete afterthought in this company. They barely get 15 minutes per episode and one match. 5 hour PPVs have barely 30 minutes of women's wrestling. Last ppv their women's world title match was 12 minutes compared to the men that got 40. I for one do not see any way those tag titles don't become irrelevant in record fashion with the way things are. The overall direction feels the weakest that its been since early this year and personally what I'm seeing right now doesn't really excite me that much."
[6.0] "Many titles were on the line in this episode, but very little suspense was generated during these matches. The opening and main events were still interesting because they were fairly coherent in their justification. However, I think it was a rather curious idea to give Lee Moriarty a match of this type. The 3v3 had star power but wasn't up to the standards of the names on paper, just as the Castagnoli vs. Hobbs match was decent but a bit disappointing. Beyond the matches, the show had quite a few good segments, starting with the final double angle around the Death Riders, which was a nice touch. Cassidy's return was also noteworthy, although it was a bit over-disclosed for my taste. In addition, the announcement of the Women's Tag Team Titles was a welcome change. FTR and Willow offered a rather nice sequence that made me curious about what would happen next. Finally, we also got two good video clips with Cope and Cage's conversation and MJF's simple but convincing promo after his defeat. I haven't forgotten the Clon announcement, but it's a bit redundant, so I don't consider it a particularly interesting moment. A Dynamite show without any great moments, but overall enjoyable to watch. In-ring quality: 2.75/5. Angles and non-match segments: 1.75/3. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 6.5/10. Show seen on Triller TV."
[6.0] "Weak Dynamite in term of in ring action, a cold shower after such a good PPV, but carried by the segments/promo, the women's tag titles reveal and the Orange Cassidy return. All the matches were fine for a weekly, my highlight is the final angle with Kris Statlander not joining the Death Riders and Darby with the flamethrower challenging Moxley for an I Quit match for WrestleDream! Those two are the most exciting act in AEW right now, this fight is gonna be INSANE!"
[6.0] "A solid show with highly predictable title matches and no match that overly stood out to me. They at least set some stuff up for next week's anniversary Dynamite and one match for WrestleDream. I continue to find most stories within AEW to not be very compelling or interesting currently. There is a sore lacking of personal feuds. It doesn't help that there isn't a clear contender for Adam Page on the horizon at the moment including for their next PPV. Booking ROH champions to continue to lose on AEW TV on sporadic matchmaking continues to also feel underwhelming."
"Really good dynamite. I loved stat Mina and thought it was pretty good. If you just allow stat to just hoop with talented people her reign is gonna be just fine."
[3.0] "Nothing happened on this show, wrestling was predictable and meant nothing, zero storyline projection, an absolute waste of time. While all the matches were decent none were memorable. Cassidys return did nothing for him, Allin Moxley proved that All Out meant nothing, they're just going to run it back. While the PPVs for AEW are always great, their weekly TV show is a boring sludge fest."
"Another fine episode for the sickos. And now you have two out and one who's back.In a way feels bad that now they got others people being missing for a period of time, being one an uprising talent and the other a top superstar, it's a bit concerning with the actual roster on able to fill this gap at the moment."
[9.0] "A tremendous show, starting with Brodido, who revived the tag division and is shaping up to be the tag team of the year. Lee Moriarty gave a very good performance in his hometown. The best part of the show was Kris Statlander vs. Mina Shirakawa, which was everything Kriss needed in her first defense, an evenly matched fight where both came out stronger. The final segment with the Death Riders was the icing on the cake."
[7.0] "The Pittsburgh crowd as always brought the energy. Match of the Night was the opener as Brodido knocked off Gates of Agony. Adam Page successfully defends the big belt against Lee Moriarty. The Conglomeration win a trios match over the Don Callis Family, whereas Okada and Takeshita were the main attractions in the match, I was happy to see Hologram get the pin. After Kyle Fletcher points out that Hologram is undefeated, and has the longest winning streak in AEW, and grants him a TNT title shot next week. Claudio needed underhanded tactics to defeat Hobbs, but I always enjoy Hobbs' work. Always enjoy Mina's work, and glad she was given a main event title shot. Stat won, but it was after the match, when she clotheslined Yuta, and double barrel middle-fingered Mox, as she and Harley escaped, that was awesome. Then puny Darby came out with a flamethrower to challenge Mox to an "I Quit Match" at Wrestle Dream."
[6.0] "A very forgettable episode of Dynamite, a few cool moments aside. Was nice to see some of the women interact with the men more and the Willow/FTR segment made Willow come across as a total badass. Same with Statlander and the Death Riders. Unfortunately on a match quality metric it was pretty weak."
"A very uneventful and filler Dynamite. Lots of matches were announcened the day of the show and the crowd was one of the weakest they had in a while. Brodido vs. GOA was solid. Kinda of a nothing match, though that didn't really elevate anybody. Hangman vs. Moriarty was solid. Moriarty didn't look bad against the world champ. FTR's promo was good and the angle with Willow worked. Interested to see where they go with Cage and Cope now; most likely a mixed tag with Beth involved down the line. DCF vs. Conglomeration was decent. OC's return was a cool moment. Castagnoli vs. Hobbs was pretty forgettable which is very disappointing. TK's announcement for the new tag titles was nice; hopefully this will, finally, mean more than one match per Dynamite for the women. Statlander vs. Mina was good; there was some really solid towards the end. On the closing angle I have mixed feelings: Stat was clearly elevated by it and that's good, but then I think that this story has been going on for months and ending with Kris refusing to join is kinda pointless. But hey, it may lead to that Willow reunion so it might not be that bad in the end. Mox vs. Darby, I quit? INJECT INTO MY VEINS. The show was the weakest Dyanmite they had in MONTHS, which speaks volumes to how good the product has been lately. Next week's card looks great though; it should be a blast. 6/10."
[5.0] "When I noticed only 2 things announced until the last minute, then Tony Khan randomly threw out 2 more world title matches (for no logical reason) I knew it'd be one of the weaker Dynamites in a long time. The crowd was also 1500+ down from the last time they were in Pittsburgh. It feels like the extremely talented roster is consistently let down by the unorganised booking and poor advertising, on the ground and on the shows/online. Stat turning down the Death Riders elevated her a bit and it's good to see the tag belts introduced; hopefully that means there will be more than one women's match a show. Brodido are always fun but need more promo time and character, something more substantial in their reign. Why does FTR get long non title story feuds but brodido get heatless last minute thrown together world title matches in the same division? Makes no sense. Lee Moriarty failed to make an impression in a world title match. Mina shouldn't be the roh tv interim champ, she's above it. Also lost in a heatless match for no reason. Darby overshadowed Stats rejection of the death riders for no reason when they had been building it up for months. Average to poor Dynamite."
[7.0] "Hangman with an okay segment referencing Fletcher and putting Moriarty over for the title match open challenge. The Demand with a brief segment. I liked this from Ricochet better than a lot of his recent backstage segments. Entertaining opener but Ricochet & the commentary team were kinda rough (especially early on) here to me. Conglomeration segment backstage. Briscoe brings so much to the simplest promo. Great segment here, I actually think this faction could be doing more. Statlander backstage with a solid segment here and pairing her with Harley was a brilliant touch. Moriarty v Hangman was a reasonable match. Started slow and got better towards the end. Nice deadeye to submission counter from Lee and the commentary got better here. CnC had an okay segment to lead to the FTR one which started off slow and picked up speed with Stokely and got even better with Willow (what a great babyface). JetSpeed stepping in felt kinda random though but still a good segment. MJF promo after his all out match made me wonder how long he will be out for. I guess an absence will help take minds off of that contract. It's a reasonable time for him to go get rest though. I feel like he could've gone missing without explanation and a returning promo after attacking the champ leading to an activation of the contract would've hit harder. Loved the OC return. Fun match, pleasantly surprised that they gave Hologram the win. Fletcher post match promo was funny because he keeps getting better at promos but this felt baby face coded at certain points (but not intentionally). Good promo though, setting up what should be a good match. Mina with a brief segment. I typically prefer people cutting promos in their native language in order for their charisma to come out but Mina has so much personality that her English promos don't hold her back tbf. After the Jurassic Express recap, Hobbs & Claudio had a reasonable but slightly long feeling match. The opps and the DR continue their endless feud which I think would work better if the opps had a clearer identity and dynamic amongst members (as well as more members). Hangman getting involved also has me worried because I need the DR far away from that title scene for the foreseeable future. TK announcement was slightly disappointing. He didn't clarify how or when they'll crown the first women's tag champions. Also, the title just looks like the mens belt so that doesn't help. Stat v Mina match itself was fine, but the post match was even better because Kris' character needed that clarity (especially holding the title) and Darby coming to announce the I quit match at wrestledream was unexpected. The show was a mixed bag with some positives and negatives. 7.3/10"
[8.0] "Enjoyable show--I rated all five matches between *** and *** 1/2 stars. No matches that got into the special range but a quality night of wrestling from start-to-finish. I am hoping for some new direction soon, though. Hangman and the Opps getting into it with the Death Riders feels like we are still in July."
[6.0] "I thought this show was a bit boring, at times, as I pretty much knew how every match besides Hobbs vs Claudio would end. The finishing angle was really good though and left me on a high note. It felt really filler, which surprised me given that it was the show after a hot ppv. It kinda felt like a decent collision for the most part. The opening match was really good though, so I would definitely suggest that one. The Hangman Moriarty match was kinda rough/dull, not on the fault of Hangman. The Fletcher promo kinda dissapointed me, because I was hoping his loss to Hangman would impact him negatively and maybe draw out a darker side in him. I would definitely suggest listening to MJF's backstage promo too."
[8.0] "The September 24th, 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite was another great show on a Wednesday Night! They took the opportunity here to showcase stars and have some groundbreaking news for next week's episode. Very consistent wrestling throughout the show with very fun matches throughout and some insightful promos and segments. Some highlights include GOA vs. Brodido, Hangman vs. Moriarty, FTR's interaction with Willow Nightingale, MJF vowing to return a different man, Great Trios match, Introducing the Women's Tag Team Titles, Shirakawa vs. Statlander and a great ending segment with Statlander declining the invite to join the Deathriders and Darby making it clear he wants Moxley's head on a silver platter. Overall, an awesome episode of Dynamite! [****]"
[8.0] "A good show, more relaxed than previous episodes. Rivalries were established for the following week, and for WrestleDream, it was also full of action, intensity, and great moments. An explosive start brought the entire audience to its feet with the tag match. The combination of Bandido and Brody King's agility and strength against the relentless power of GOA made every exchange unpredictable and exciting. The match between Hangman and Moriarty showed a great contrast in styles: Hangman with his strength and presence, and Moriarty with his precise technique and creativity. Although the match was a bit short, every minute was packed with action and interesting sequences. FTR had a great segment to keep the rivalry going with Cope and Christian, and the inclusion of Willow was a refreshing change for the duo. The trios match between The Conglomeration and The Don Callis Family was another highlight. The madness of Mark Briscoe, the intensity of Hologram, and the sarcastic calm of Orange Cassidy against the technique and cunning of Okada, Takeshita, and Hechicero resulted in a dynamic and entertaining match. Hobbs' battle against Claudio Castagnoli was an interesting physical clash, but with a couple of slow moments and a rather unsatisfactory ending for my taste. The closing of the show with Kris Statlander successfully defending her World Women's Championship against Mina Shirakawa was spectacular. Statlander demonstrated why she is the champion, combining strength, precision, and dynamism, while Shirakawa was competitive and creative, making the match entertaining from start to finish. The final segment was perfect and very well constructed. I'm happy about the integration of new women's titles, although I wasn't 100% happy with its design. In short, it was a great post-All Out show, and the matches and stories remain at a high level. 8/10."
[8.0] "Probably the platonic ideal of what a "filler" TV show should be, like several Collisions. Given the run to WrestleDream is otherwise filled with "special" Dynamites (i.e. Anniversary, Title Tuesday, and the three-hour go-home), then this is the one where they're going to have to sacrifice some high-drawing match. So it comes as no surprise that we don't have any truly world-beating 10/10 match tonight, but at the same time, I'm not going to lie and say that any match on the card was bad; in fact, they were, at the very least, 6/10 affairs, and arguably all 7/10 or 8/10 affairs. Very well-structured too, but that's the story of most Dynamites recently, which makes this another breeze to get through."
