31.08.2025 | Kapi | 6.0 | Pretty weak Dynamite, it felt so improvissed. I may be a bit biased because of the high standard AEW have been for the year, maybe I would give this a little better grade if it were another company, for being honest. The first segment was good but I feel MJF is far from the promo quality he used to give some time ago. Mox vs Kevin had some pretty cool moments, I think Ospreay return should have been with music. The women's match felt a bit flat, maybe because they have already done too many of this with a lot of the same women so it feels repetitive. I'm ok with funny segments but the Stoke thing was too long for me. I think the Cope and Christian reunion could have been done better. The all star tag was pretty good but not at the level of some of the previous ones. The main event felt a bit weak, which is weird giving the names.

25.08.2025 | Morbino45 | 6.0 | A solid episode of Dynamite, but definitely the weakest in months. I just think the energy wasn't there at all (crowd sucked and the venue just doesn't look good) and some of the stuff on the show just didn't hit. MJF and Hangman's promo definitely delivered, tho. These two are delivering some of the finest storytelling that we have seen lately with the roles reversing twice in one segment: MJF saying he's real (like Hangman did in their first promo months ago) and Hangman baiting Max into a title match (which is what MJF wanted to do). Top notch stuff. Moxley vs. Knight was really good. Knight has a ton of potential and Mox just can't miss lately. Ospreay's return was unexpected (he kept the promise he made Darby back in December of last year, great storytelling) and the announcement of that crazy, fucked up steel cage has me feeling fuzy and warm. The women's trios match was solid. The post-match angle top set-up the tag match next week was good, too. Giving just 15 minutes per show to THIS division is criminal, tho. The show kinda went downhill afterwards with Cope's stuff that's just not hitting. Stokely is a comedic genius, but Cope might just not have the sauce anymore. Speaking of missing sauce... As another comment pointed out, the all-star eight men tag was missing that sauce it usually has. It was good, but something was missing. The "Bum Bucks" is still one of the best aspects of the show. Swerve/Okada was just there. These two just don't have enough material for these promos. The little Moxley's bit about Tanahasi was funny. Opps vs. LFI was just a very odd match. It was extremely short and LFI just... Lost! ? I thought they were going to set up some title match, but nothing. MJF attacking Hangman to end the show was cool, tho. First part of the show was a hit (especially the opening promo) then it all went downhill with Cope's stuff. The rest of the show was meh. Never go the Cincinnati again. 6/10.

While the stories going at the moment are pretty solid, getting maybe one really fun match and a bunch of filler tv matches is why I stopped watching weekly wrestling tv in the first place |

22.08.2025 | Tyhlir | 6.0 | This is my first time watching anything AEW! Also my first time reviewing anything wrestling related! I give the show a 6/10. Not horrible or anything, I also have no context to anything so that might not help! The opening of the show was good, I've heard of both Hangman and MJF but never actually seen anything from them, both gave good promos though! I'll be honest I got sidetracked and missed the Moxley vs Knight match, but I caught the end where they announced a match at forbidden door, seems cool! I saw some people annoyed at the Edge vs Stokley match, and as someone who has seen nothing besides this one match from them... I was laughing multiple times at that, so it was a good match IMO. Both tag team matches at the end were fun! But didn't feel super special to me, however I'll admit its probably because I don't know any context for what's going on and its just a big mass of people fighting. But was fun to watch. Overall it was a fine show, nothing crazy or anything, but I can't expect a perfect show on my first watch haha. It was good enough for me to want to check out Collision on Saturday and tune in again next Wednesday for Dynamite!

16.08.2025 | SkyIcons | 7.0 | Thought this was a pretty good Dynamite. Outside of the Vince like bullshit cope brings to this show I enjoyed it all. The hangman/MJF segment was phenomenal. All the matches were at least decent with the men's all star tag being great. Not anything special, but a good TV show nonetheless.
15.08.2025 | Reprise | 6.0 | The episode was fine for the most part, but overall it didn't flow all that well and a few of the segments/storyline developments were a bit awkward. The opening promo between Hangman and MJF was great, particularly the way in which it started with Max trying to provoke Hangman, but by the end Hangman had managed to turn it around on Max and goad him into executing his title shot contract at Forbidden Door. After that, we had a good match between Mox and Kevin Knight, which then descended into a bunch of fun shenanigans involving the rest of the Deathriders and Darby and Ospreay who made his return. We got the announcement of a Lights Out Cage Match (awesome! ). Then things started deteriorating a bit from there. The women's stuff was fine for the most part. Alex Windsor is already impressing me and her and Toni are great together. Copeland and Stokely was just kinda awkward. The crowd couldn't decide if they were into it or not and the reunion between Copeland and Christian didn't feel as big as it should have in my opinion. The 8 man tag was pretty fun and the 6 man tag wasn't bad, but finishing with two multiman tag matches, with the latter really being an odd choice to go on last, just killed the flow.
15.08.2025 | robbyplaha | 6.0 | This was one of the weaker Dynamite episodes, which surprised me considering the tone and what was planned for a filler episode vibe, but we did get a very fun All-Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match and the moment we've all been waiting for: Adam Copeland and Christian Cage reuniting the legendary tag team. There were some good moments, and next week in Scotland, we have a highly energetic crowd in store, and I can't wait for that. match card for the show.
15.08.2025 | Agaren | 5.0 | This episode didnt really have a great match, multiple matches felt quite boring and skippable. It had multiple storyline progressions that made no sense. This show was broadly saved by the hangman stuff as well as some of the upper tier angles still being fun.
15.08.2025 | AlexClark314 | 8.0 | Dynamite opens with With the face of between MJF and Hangman Page A fucking excellent segment from both men where Hangman managed to bait MJF into executing his contract for the world title at FD. Then we get to Moxley outside the arena and he turns Darby down and he walks in and we go straight into the opening contest Moxley vs Kevin Knight A really good hard hitting opening match and nice to see Mox win a match clean for once. Then a nice post match angle with Darby coming out to make the save But Claudio comes out to even the odds and beat Darby down and put him in a body bag and we got the return of Will Ospreay to rescue Darby and Will calls out Mox and his friends for a lights out steel cage match at Forbidden Door (Holy fucking shit). Then we get a Package on the Cope FTR feud so far before we go into the women's trios match of Willow, Alex Windsor, Queen Aminata vs Mercedes mone, Skye blue and Thekla. This match was really good nice hard hitting women's action and a great post match angle as well got massive brawls between the women in the match and Toni and Athena at Ringside and we got another tease to a potentially future Mone/Athena title match and Toni and Alex challenge Mone and Athena to a tag match at dynamite in Glasgow next week then we get a backstage interview with Will Ospreay and he announces Tanahashi is on his team for the lights out match and he asks Renee to get him a face to face with Moxley next week. then we go straight into Moxley vs Copeland in an unironically great comedy match/segment with Cope getting the crowd involved to roast Big Stoke and then we get FTR come out to beat up cope and Christian with spike Makes the save and they fight out Wayne and Kip Sabian and we get the reunion of Cope and Christian. Then we get a video package for the return of Hook. Then we go Striaght into the All star Tag between The Young bucks, The Protostar Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander vs Hologram, Ishii, Brody King and Hiromu Takahashi (Fuck yes). This match was fucking Excellent AEW 8 Man Tags at their Balls to the wall best. We then get another interview with Swerve but he is interrupted by Okada for a face to face and they had an Aura off. We then get an interview with Jon Moxley ahead of the lights out match where he is just shocked Tana is in the match and he finds the Young bucks in the extras room and is ready to hash out a deal with them. Tony then announces the full teams got the lights out cage match and cope and Christian vs Nick and Kip (please be pre show) then we go into the OPPS VS LFI. This was a solid meat main event. Then to close the show MJF jumps Hangman in the parking lot and lays him out and tells him he is going to break him and we have fully Psychotic MJF. A really good episode of Dynamite this was the Forbidden door was blown of the hinges and thrown in a wood chipper as they announced some bangers for the show and the build to other stories that we continuing beyond FD like Cope and Christian vs FTR, Mone vs Athena and OPPS vs LFI were great we also got a excellent opening and closing segment form Hanger and MJF. MOTN: 8 man tag. WOTN: Hiromu Takahashi
15.08.2025 | arisenby | 6.0 | [6.4] One of the weaker Dynamites in a while. Hangman and MJF had a good promo battle, Mox/Knight was good but not as good as Mox/Bailey, the women's 6man tag was alright, the eight man tag was really good, and the main event 6man was okay. The only real stinker was Adam Copeland trying his best to match Chris Jericho on both sucking in-ring and fucking over young talent in favor of nobody but himself against Stokely, who deserves much better than this feud, in a match that solely existed to get Cope and Christian Cage back together in a match that is painfully obviously setting up FTR/Cope+Christian for the tag belts at All Out and rushing the break-up of the Patriarchy that would probably have elevated Nick Wayne in favor of nostalgia for a bygone era that is solely remembered for popularity and not quality of a completely different company that is ashamed it ever considered itself a wrestling product. Stokely deserves better than this. FTR deserves better than this, Nick Wayne deserves better than this. Other than that, fine show, not as good as the last few weeks have been, but still some decent stuff.

15.08.2025 | RestlingThots | 8.0 | 1) I love Max, but even I'm getting tired of his promo cadence. It's the same shit from one feud to another. I'm not talking about the content of his speeches, no - it's the way he delivers them. He's obviously found a couple of "templates" and now just rehashes them from an opponent to opponent. At one point in time, I considered him to be on the same level as Roman Reigns, but now it's obvious to me that MJF lacks range. He needs to evolve asap. 2) Ishii is on the show again, lol. I'm telling you, at this point he's more an AEW wrestler than NJPW. 3) Okada's new music is atrocious "That's the point, he's a heel, you're not supposed to like his music! " one might say, but it doesn't apply here. The music is not necessarily bad - it just doesn't suit the Rainmaker. It sounds like one of those generic rock songs kids used to put in their wrestling highlights videos back in the mid 2000s. 4) AEW really needs to level up their main event game. Just because you go off the air with a cool looking backstage attack, doesn't give you an excuse to close the show with a meaningless 6 Man Tag Team match.
15.08.2025 | kakkakikkare | 3.0 | For an AEW show, this one sucked bad. They've clearly found a formula that works, so why change it? Though... I don't really agree with the decision to put the trios match on as the main event. Hopefully, Collision's main (if it is the Technical Spectacle) is gonna be better.

15.08.2025 | MaveDeltzer | 5.0 | The gigantic tags are back with a vengeance. For me this episode was the best since All In, purely on account of things actually happening and matches being put together, but the problems of the past few weeks really came to a head in this. Things happened but they happened so fast. The past few weeks have had so little substantial build for Forbidden Door that they had to cram a whole bunch into this one episode, giving nothing time to breathe or build. It's boom, boom, boom, with the angles. Ospreay is in with Darby, it's a cage match, boom, boom, Tony Khan fills in the rest because there's no time, here's the match graphic with the participants, boom, boom, Kenny, Ibushi and Kidd are in there, moving on, Cage and Copeland hug, keep it going, here's Hiromu, get the gigantic tags in. The announcement of the other two women in the four-way will likely be the same. Probably just a graphic. If this episode ended with something other than the main event we got, and the bland, buzz-killing music of The Opps, I think it would be a safer '6'. The announcement of the "Please don't die" cage match is a pretty big one for Forbidden Door and did do something to increase my anticipation for that show, so I'd say this episode had something going for it in that regard.
15.08.2025 | JonathanV93 | 3.0 | Nothing about this show in general is appealing to me. The opening promo was okay, and set up the main event to forbidden door which makes no sense. Why would MJF agree to that stipulation, it makes him who at one point was a master mind young genius heel look like a complete tool. And also he didn't sign the contract, so if he really didn't want to do the match he could just.... not sign the contract, as Christian did at worlds end, and Athena. Moxley knight was a burial of Kevin Knight, this company is allergic to creating new stars. Knight should 100% by added to the hurt syndicate but let's just keep letting him rot in a tag team nobody cares about. Osperay returns, after telling us he had herniated discs just two weeks ago, begging the question why did he even cut a promo to tell us he was injured, when he was going to put himself in a LIGHTS OUT STEEL CAGE MATCH, three weeks later! I dont' even want to talk about how nonsensical and random the participants are, no dialogue, no story, nothing, just here's Tanahashi, here's Omega, here's Ibushi, watch them fight people you don't like. Just absolute garbage. The womens tag is another example as to why, AEW does not give one single solitary piece of crap about their womens division. How you have THE BEST WOMENS WRESTLER IN THE WORLD, in Toni Storm, and give her no proper story is beyond me. Copeland reunites with Christian, garbage, no build, no teasing, not an ounce of dialogue between the two, they just make up. The tag was a good match, but who cares. Takahashi vs Fletcher at the PPV, again no story, who actually cares, they're not taking the belt off Kyle. And the main event, I can't believe this company thought it was a good idea to put 6 guys YOU, TONY, YOU made us not care about, and put them to close the show, with NO ANGLE, NOTHING. This company is creatively bankrupt, the show is good and this week mid wrestling and nothing else. 2.5/10

14.08.2025 | Ozwern | 3.0 | This wasn't a good episode at all, felt like the show was all over the place with no rhytm or structure. Very by the numbers opening promo which didn't really add much to the feud other than what was already said in the previous weeks. So strange that they rushed both of these contracts within a month, it feels like they run this gimmick but for some reason they don't actually want to do it. They really should have waited with these contratcs. Quite a forgettable opening match that didn't really do anything, at least the post match angle was solid and the steel cage match should be good. Women's match was very mediocre and the booking is so incredibly lazy, cramming all the women you want to feature in 10 minutes feels like the terrible booking of 3 years ago. I always say the talent level and therefore the match quality in the women's division have gone up massively but the booking is still terrible and doesn't reflect the talent level at all. And if we're being honest there is only one person to blame for all of this which would be the antiquated booker with his outdated perspective on women's wrestling. Just beating a dead horse at this point so whatever. The show was still a bit decent till Cope and Stokely showed up but it went downhill really fast, even as a bit this was insufferable to sit through. I'm just simply not interested watching two fifty year olds rehashing this can they co exist best buddies tag run nonsense, it really doesn't help that they're trying to elevate the charisma vacuums like Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne. Another meaningless multi men tag match that went over 15 minutes for some reason which accomplished nothing. Okada-Swerve I was initally excited for but their feud feels like has no substance whatsoever and this segment was just them retreading the old stuff. Okada is just as lazy in his promos as he is in his matches. Main event was yet again so awkwardly misplaced. What is with this odd trend of underwhelming main events post All In, I really don't get it. I thought the Forbbiden Door build so far was just okay even though the entire concept is redundant now and it doesn't feel special but this show was a big stepback and made me less excited for the overall direction and build. Thumbs down.
