511.05.2025BlackVikingGZ3.0First of all, I don't know how much I'm going to watch Evolve. And that's for the recent releases that affected people as Gallus or Javier Bernal, people that appeared on this show. I'm not really comfortable watching how they were fired, but still making tv appereances as this is a taped show. It doesn't make any sense, as WWE Evolve just feels as this brand where the wrestlers will have their final matches before being fired, intead of being a place to build future stars. I don't like this massive firings of groups of talented people. Hopefully they'll have a great career in the indies or where they'll end up. Anyway, this wasn't a great show. It started with Stevie Turner unveiling the Evolve championships and announcing a 4 Four Way elimination match to crown each champion. On the women side, Kali Armstrong attacked Kendal Grey, injuring her leg. On the men side, after Sean Legacy was announced as the first participant, Carver & Lewis confronted Turner, which led to a fight with Gallus and the announcement of a match between them next week. Again, it feels very weird seeing Gallus here as they are not longer with WWE, but as I like those guys I'll watch what maybe be their final match here. On the first match, Wendy Choo defeats Summer Sorrell on her debut match. Sorrell looked good, but it was just a three minutes squash. I don't get Choo's gimmick. After the match, Choo tries to paint a sad smile on Sorrell's face, but Kylie Rae stops her. That confrontation with Rae's facial expression of anger was really awkward. Then, Lexis King made a surprise appearance and he sets a match with Sean Legacy for next week's show. Legacy isn't bad at promos. Next, Jackson Drake defeated Drako Knox on a decent match. Drake is a future star and a nice heel with good in-ring abilities. Then, Chuey Martinez interviewed Javier Bernal, who talks about finding his new self after playing on a metalcore band. Gal interrumpted the interview and that sets a match for the future. This should have been erased of the tape. It doesn't make sense to have Javi talk like thata knowing he has just been fired. On the main event, Nikkita Lyons defeats an injured Kendal Grey. Lyons is no good, but Grey's good selling made this match interesting. Her high spots fighting against the pain were interesting, but in the end it wasn't enough. I don't get the booking of Grey losing to Lyons of all people. This loss doesn't help neither of the wrestlers. I guess that they're trying to build her as the underdog, but there are better ways to do it. The show ends with Kali Armstrong attacking Grey again in the ring.

810.05.2025crs2855.0I thought this was a fine show but nothing special. Best segment was the Legacy/King segment which was very good. Matches were fine with Knox vs Drake Sorrell vs Choo and Lyons vs Grey all being watchable but nothing special.

1309.05.2025Billkmc5.0The show felt like it was resetting for the future although the fact so many recently released talent appeared made the pre-taping of multiple episode really obvious. The show started well with stevie unveiling the new belts and announcing the title matches. Some very wooden backstage promos bring the score down but seeing legacy and king face off and kylie return with a more aggressive attitude helped keep me interested. The opening match was a squash but helped the build to the woman's title. The more I see her the more I'm convinced Grey is going to be a star and is probably my favourite thing about Evolve right now.
1409.05.2025Manga185.0Kylie Rae angles are always the best part of this. Also I'm sorry for Lexis King, given how people going down in Evolve end up getting released from WWE, Anyway all the event is angles, some better than others. I liked Kendal selling of the injure, on the other hand the brawl at the beginning and the squash of Wendy were quite meh. Nikkita is not good but for her flexibility on some moves
1508.05.2025Jeezus2.0[1.00/5.00]: Well, this was more of a nothing show honestly, Evolve started with some promise but at what it seems, it just feels there's rarely any direction left since most of it is just more experienced guys squashing the new guys and rinse and repeat. To some point it was interesting because they were setting the newer guys up to beat their adversaries, but when the talent pool is just thin like that, who cares? I love Kendal Grey but why is she being beaten in an extended squash to Nikkita who moves like a WWE 2K series cut scene? This at least had some motive of introducing belts and the overarching heel faction is exciting, so not everything is bad.
1608.05.2025robbyplaha2.0A very weak episode of EVOLVE, this episode's i-ring was very poor. Nikkita Lyons getting the main event spot for the show was not needed; she's not good whatsoever. They need to pull the plug on that experiment because it hasn't gone well since its start in 2021.
1708.05.2025herbehurba4.0This episode of Evolve wasn't focused so much on matches but setting up and wrapping up current storylines which is refreshing since Level Up wasn't like that. I'm looking forward to the Evolve championship and it looks like Sean Legacy will be our first champ. Good choice.
