211.08.2025amcnal8.0Somehow, this might be the best GCW show of the year? Everyone brought their A-game. The 3-on-3 is as good as advertised, even WON was in awe. That's probably GCW match of the year - just a nonstop spot fest where everyone shines, and everyone gets walloped. Janela/Priest lived up to my expectations, two of my favorite hard-hitters. They really knocked each other around. Mancer's swerve was so prolonged that it got me, and those things usually don't. Fun, different match. Bronson/Beastman was predictably meaty and nasty. As a longtime Bronson fan, I've loved seeing his breakout this year. It wasn't all perfect, the main event got tarnished by an early injury. Also as someone in the northeast, I was very excited to see 4 of my favorite local wrestlers in the scramble (Ashley, TJ, Flash and Greene), but Emil and KJ bickered instead of calling the match. I get it, but it was unfortunate, as every competitor was really killing it. It's a great scramble!

422.07.20251WingedWarDog7.0Quite a varied show with plenty of good matches in a variety of styles. While some matches like Parrow v Holliday, Black v Steel and Tremont v Mantis were busts but others were eceptional. Janela v Priest was a great clash of styles between the two, YNDPM v Starkz, Bayne and Yamashita was an incredible spotfest, DeReiss v Mancer was an entertaining crowd pleaser and Bronson v Beastman was a very well-done deathmatch. Very solid show with only a few minor pitfalls including a pretty bland main event.

1207.07.2025EmoForkliftDriver6.0Solid GCW show with a buffet for almost anyone's tastes. We got some pretty good to amazing spotfests in the opening scramble and the six man tag match. We got some pretty solid deathmatch wrestling from the returning Bear Bronson who is white hot in the scene at the moment. A good comedy match from an unlikely source in Mancer Warner vs Man Like Dereiss and plenty of showcases from up and coming talent. It's obviously not an overly mind blowing affair but it is consistently entertaining, bollocks and all

1406.07.2025DanMitchellNFS3.0Too many matches for a start and I'm not against intergender matches, but there were 3 on this show. Janella shouldn't be in featured matches with upcoming talent, he just brings them down. Adam works on his knee for a while, but then Joey does a running dive - no selling the last 5 minutes. IMO Tremont shouldn't of been in the main event for the same reason, glad they had to finish early as the show went on far too long.
Absolute Empfehlung.
1706.07.2025ausrev7.0The first half of this card was tracking as standard for a GCW show. Decent, but nothing incredible. The second half of this show, though? Fantastic. Certainly one of GCW's best shows of the year and a very hot crowd helped with that. Not quite as good as JJSB all in all but this show had a ton of variety and the highs were really high. From Janela/Priest or the six person tag onwards; this was excellent and I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch. Looking forward to the rest of July heading into Summerslam weekend, this was a much needed standout show from GCW. ***1/2.
1806.07.2025Open The Vault9.0GCW's The Top Play was one of the best shows I've seen from GCW. Genuine tons of fun from beginning to end. The Scramble was a fun way to open the show and KJ Orso stealing the win was an absolutely great heel move. Masha vs. Tony was half comedy and half serious work from both of them. Tony Deppen being the sexist heel was good. Parrow vs. Richard Holiday was average. Not too bad and not too good. Holiday's GCW ending comes with a bit of a whimper. Black vs. Steel was the weakest on the show. Very basic match with nothing going on other than a mediocre Candian Destroyer. The Six Man Tag Match was a barn burner. Fun from beginning to end, The crowd was on fire the whole show and had so much fucking energy. Warner vs. DeReiss was okay for the most part, the ending was funny and bizzare. Manson & Slade vs. Manders & Effy was another fun one with a bit of a weak ending. Some great stiff spots and action. The spot through the closet door between the walls was awesome! Bronson vs. Beastman was MOTN! Chaotic hell, brutal beatings and some of the craziest spots I've witnessed. The main event was a bit fun but underwhelming considering Matt Tremont got injured and got stabbed in the eye with some glass. They went home early. Overall, this show was an awesome re-introduction for me into GCW and I might be a huge fan again. [****1/2]
