[7.0] "WWE & AAA Worlds Collide 2025 was a blast. It felt different from the usual WWE fare, and that change in vibe actually worked in its favor. Production wasn't as polished, but it felt alive. Octagon Jr., Aero Star & Mr. Iguana vs. Lince Dorado & LWO opened the show hot. Fast-paced, fun, and the crowd ate it up. Mr. Iguana was super over -- like, breakout-over. Feels like someone who could slide right into weekly TV without missing a beat. Everyone meshed well, and it set the tone. Post-match hinted at more crossover, which is smart. (*** 3/4 ) Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice vs. Dalys & Chik Tormenta was a major step down. Vaquer was as sharp as ever, and Lola looked like she belonged on Raw tomorrow -- smooth, confident. But the AAA side dragged things down. Movement was off, and the whole thing lacked rhythm. Just didn't click. (** 1/2 ) Legado del Fantasma vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano & Psycho Clown was solid. Less lucha, more WWE-style six-man, but it worked. Wagner looked like a tank who could still fly. Psycho Clown was over, and Pagano did the usual chaos stuff but didn't pop as much as his partners. Legado winning was the right call. (*** 1/4 ) Ethan Page vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix vs. Je'Von Evans was a sprint from the moment they shifted gears. Je'Von stood out big -- crazy hops, wild offense, and looked like the future. Fenix brought his AAA/AEW fire, Laredo was sharp, and Page played the perfect base. Je'Von's OG Cutter into Frog Splash combo was nuts. Star-making stuff. (**** 1/4 ) El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable was the main event and delivered. The early technical stuff was rough in spots (Vikingo got caught in the ropes at one point), but once it opened up, it flew. Vikingo's arsenal is jaw-dropping -- 630 to the floor, Mexican Destroyer, everything. Gable was perfect in his role, keeping the pace and adding just enough realism. Easily one of WWE's best matches this year. (**** 1/2 )"
[8.0] "AAA/WWE Worlds Collide 2025: 4.25 / Octagon Jr. , Mr Iguana & Aero Star Vs Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Lince Dorado: 3.5 / Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice Vs Dalys & Chik Tormenta: 2.75 / Angel, Berto & Santos Escobar Vs El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. , Pagano & Pyscho Clown: 3.25 / Ethan Page Vs Laredo Kid Vs Rey Fenix Vs Je'Von Evans: 3.75 / Chad Gable Vs El Hijo del Vikingo: 4.5 /"
[8.0] "Very good show, the best piece of business WWE has put out this year. The vibes were great and the matches were (mostly) great as well. The main event is a top 10 WWE match this year."
[8.0] "First time ever watching AAA or any lucha libre show & the matches were very solid, struggled to stay invested at parts because I didn't know a number of the performers but I really enjoyed the style, the opener was awesome and the main event was sensational, massive props to Chad Gable and vikingo for putting on a banger."
[9.0] "This was a really fun and well done show. WWE & AAA found a way to bring two world's together. Aero Star, Dragon Lee, El Hijo del Vikingo, Ethan Page, Evans from the Heavens, Laredo Kid, Octagon Jr., Pagano, Psycho Clown, Rey Fenix & Stephanie Vaquer, what a star studded lineup."
[7.0] "AAA x WWE Worlds Collide was a really fun event. There wasn't a single bad match, and a few of the bouts had some solid build-up on WWE TV leading into the show. The main event especially delivered after a great lead-in, and Chad Gable continues to be one of my favorite WWE superstars, his character work is excellent, and El Grande Americano held his own too. That said, it didn't fully feel like "worlds colliding." It was mostly AAA teaming up with WWE's Latino and Hispanic talent, rather than a broad mix of rosters. Still, it was a great event overall, and the main event stole the show. Even my friend, who isn't into wrestling at all, got pulled into the action by the end."
[8.0] "It was a inconsequential night but it still was fun to watch. No title changed but some good matches and it was great to see Worlds Collide for hopefully not the last time."
[8.0] "WWE & AAA Worlds Collide 2025 was a super fun PLE that felt different from the usual WWE production, which helped it stand out. Octagon Jr., Aero Star & Mr. Iguana vs Lince Dorado & LWO was fun, energetic opener that had the crowd rocking with some entertaining, fast paced action throughout. Iguana was an absolute superstar who got extremely over with the crowd to the point that he feels like someone who will cross over to the main programming. Everyone worked really well with each other and set the tone for the entire event. Post match set the stage for more crossover between WWE & AAA, which will help their relationship (***3/4). Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice vs Dalys & Chik Tormenta felt like a significant step down from the previous match. I thought Vaquer was her usual great self, while Lola was really good and felt like a polished main roster star. The AAA ladies were a lot slower and felt disjointed in their movement in the ring. This one lacked chemistry to me (**1/2). Legado Del Fantasma vs El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano & Psycho Clown was another good match, but felt more like a WWE style trios match than AAA or lucha libre. Legado was good, while Wagner felt like a heavyweight bruiser mixed with some lucha libre athleticism and Psycho felt like the most over guy in this match. Pagano was taking some crazy bumps, but didn't stand out like his partners. Legado getting the win was a nice touch (***1/4). Ethan Page vs Laredo Kid vs Rey Fenix vs Je'Von Evans was awesome. Balls to the wall action that never let up once they hit second gear. Je'Von was terrific here, Fenix felt more like his AEW/AAA work in this one, Laredo was good and Page was excellent base for all the high flyers. Evans was definitely the MVP here with the hops that he displayed on the OG Cutters and 5 Star Frog Splash. He will be absolute megastar for NXT in the months & years to come. Really splendid work down the stretch with all four men (****1/4). El Hijo del Vikingo vs Chad Gable was a spectacular main event. The opening with some technical work and feeling out process felt a little clunky at times with Vikingo getting stuck in the ropes standing out, but once he hit the 630 to the floor, this hit second gear and Gable maintained the pacing very well. This served as a fantastic showcase for Vikingo as the next great high flyer of lucha libre to the WWE audience. If this was your first time watching Vikingo, you had to be blown away by his amazing arsenal of moves especially the Mexican destroyer and 630. Gable was brilliant and did the small things to make this feel like a bout that escalated in drama and action throughout. This was a top 10 WWE match of the year so far. Both men worked great here (****1/2)."
[6.0] "A fun showcase with some good action that served as a functional, if not spectacular, introduction to some wrestlers for those who don't watch much LL and maybe wouldn't have been familiar with. The crowd had an undeniable energy and clearly enjoyed the wrestling, the presentation was neat and tidy and this worked on everyone level it needed too."
[8.0] "Think this show did exactly what TKO needed it to do. It showed a lot of traditional Lucha and that they seem committed to AAA being successful. Main event was great but most of the action all night was very good. Think the AAA wrestlers were treated with respect. Think this shows the potential for AAA going forward."
[8.0] "This was a really fun PPV to watch and the main event was an amazing match with Vikingo doing some cool stuff as per usual the fatal four way was also really a good match and they had some TNA guys in there too. Overall a good PPV from NXT."
[6.0] "Much, Much better than MITB later that day, but wasn't overall my type of show. I thought the show was structure so much better than any PPV or PLE this year. They had packages to introduce AAA throughout the show. If you're a fan if Lucha Libre and spots wrestling, you'll like this show much more than I did. But Even I found it to be decent and one if the best WWE shows this year."
"1) I'm not a fan of Lucha Libre. I just don't see what this culture brings to the table. All I hear is "Lucha this, Lucha that" - but all I see is ordinary wrestling done in cartoonish masks. Luchadors can't even stand out with their high-flying style anymore - American wrestlers like Ricochet or AR Fox put luchadors to shame on a weekly basis. That being said, I'm open to everything new and was more than willing to give the "Worlds Collide" the chance to change my mind. Initially, I planned to watch only 2 matches, but the video intro narrated by Rey Mysterio literally gave me goosebumps and hyped me up to the extent that made me check out the majority of the show. 2) Let me tell you this - if you, like me, couldn't care less about the matches themselves, at least watch the video packages dedicated to the history of AAA which are - inconveniently - evenly spread out throughout the event. It was a pretty smart move to familiarize new viewers like me with the history and heritage of Mexican wrestling and get them invested right off the bat. 3) It was a geat show in terms of in-ring action from top to bottom, but the main event was just phenomenal. They ain't lying when they say "styles make fights". Chad Gable, an Olympian gold medalist wrestler, is the perfect opponent for any luchador, especially for someone whose size isn't his strongest side, like the reigning Triple A MEGA Champion Vikingo. Because of the champion being a rather small guy, Gable got the opportunity to perform one of the most impressive moves in WWE history - inverse powerbomb from the top-rope, which I even mistook for a piledriver at first."
[9.0] "Good to see Konnan on commentary, a great showing from WWE/AAA in their first co-promoted show with some memorable matches and moments, I really enjoyed this one from start to finish. Aero Star, Mr. Iguana & Octagon Jr vs Cruz Del Toro, Dragon Lee & Lince Dorado: A good way to get the show started with a great showcase for lucha libre in this trios match, Iguana was a highlight and there were so many highlights in this match, Cruz did have a spotlight on him which was good to see, pacing was fast as expected from those involved, Dorado did well as a stand in for Joaquin Wilde who got injured days before the show [****]. Lola Vice & Stephanie Vaquer vs Chik Tormenta & Dalys: A good pairing of NXT/RAW duo of Vice and Vaquer with AAA's Dalys and Tormenta made this an interesting match and it did what it needed to do, would like to have seen go time wise a bit longer but Vaquer also competed in the MITB match on the same day so the short amount of time did make sense, the action was just right for the time given [***1/2]. Angel, Berto & Santos Escobar vs El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr, Pagano & Psycho Clown: While it may have been a step below the opening trios match, this match was still fun to watch, all six had a solid showing, the Pagano Driver spot on the apron looked insane, the spear spot through the barricade that took out most of the wrestlers involved was surprising to see, LDF should challenge for the trios titles in AAA especially after their showing here [***1/2]. Ethan Page vs Je'Von Evans vs Laredo Kid vs Rey Fenix: A great first title defense for Page who competed against two luchadors and Evans in what was definitely worth a watch, the sequences throughout were fun to watch, Page played his role as the heel in this match in a perfect way especially with how he got the win which did make sense, Evans here was really good considering his young age and how he adapted [****1/4]. El Hijo del Vikingo vs Chad Gable: What a match to end the show, a technical specialist and a lucha libre specialist competed for the top title of AAA, they put on an awesome showing and the crowd was into throughout the match and this was the best match I have seen from Gable since he started in WWE, an absolute banger of a main event, the destroyer on the apron from the second turnbuckle was insane, Vikingo showed why he is one of the best lucha libre wrestlers in the world, MOTYC easily and one of my favourite matches from Vikingo as well [*****]"
[7.0] "[6, 5/10] It was a good show but not much to remember. I liked the fact that it was broadcast for free on YouTube, which gives a nice showcase to some AAA and even WWE wrestlers."
[8.0] "The first AAA x WWE event since the purchase. The opening six man tag was a whole lot of fun. Mr. Iguana is awesome and instantly made himself a lot of new fans. Everybody else did well with the high flying action. It was a great way to kick things off and introduce people to the Lucha Libre style (8/10). The women's tag match was okay. Nothing too memorable about this one, just harmless filler (4.5/10). The second six man tag was decent overall, but very sloppy at points which brought it down (5.5/10). The four way for the NXT NA title was a good match with non-stop action at a consistent pace (7.5/10). The main event for the AAA Mega Championship between El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable was great. These two went to war with each other, delivering several unbelievable moments with the bumps they took. Gable's powerbomb from the top rope, Vikingo's Destroyer on the apron, Gable's moonsault through a table, Vikingo's poisonrana and finally finishing this match off with the 630 to retain the title. Excellent stuff, really loved this match (10/10). Worlds Collide was a good show. The middle of the card could have been a bit better, but the opener and main event were enough to make up for it. There was a fun atmosphere, this was easy and enjoyable to watch. It also went by quickly without all the usual fluff in between the matches. Hopefully there are more of these crossover shows. 8/10"
[7.0] "Worlds Collide did its job very well in presenting AAA to the WWE audience, pitting its biggest names against the American company's mid card in a show that completes the acquisition of the Mexican company and pays tribute to the 1994 show. Aero/Iguana/Octagon vs. Lince/Lee/Cruz: this match was perfect as an opener, as it was basically an exhibition match, it showcased the style and as it had a good dynamic, it got the crowd going [***1/2], Vaquer/Lola vs. Chik/Dalys: weakest match on the show, the Mexicans seemed to be fighting in slow motion and no matter how talented Stephanie is, they wouldn't let it waste too much by having another match on the same day (MITB) [**1/2], Angel/Berto/Santos vs. Wagner/Pagano/Clown: a more basic and less fun version of the opener [***], Page vs. Evans vs. Fenix vs. Laredo: best match of the show was precisely the match that had the least to do with the theme of the event [****1/4], Vikingo vs. Gable: Vikingo is incredible, I even understand the high rating of the match considering that many are seeing it for the first time (and it really is impressive), but after a few matches, things are no longer as exciting as before and one thing that bothers me a lot is the pauses for preparation before the big moves, which ends up breaking the immersion and giving it a fake feel [****]"
[9.0] "What an incredible show this was; WWE delivered its best in-ring event in years, and the same goes for Triple A. The event featured numerous thrilling spots and fantastic moments. The Six-Man Tag, Fatal Four-Way, and Main Event Matches were all entertaining. As long as this continues, I believe this partnership will thrive, provided that Triple-A avoids the issues it's faced in recent years."
[8.0] "Who would have thought that WWE could keep from besmirching their ring with ugly ads. Seriously that ring was beautiful with the mexico flag colors ropes and the neat black WWWxAAA World's colide logo and the ring with the AAA and WWE logo only. This was a show I watched mainly just for the Chad vs Vikingo match even though we all knew he would lose, because Chad pretty much loses every match. That match delivered on pretty much every level. The first match and the NXT matches were also pretty solid matches making the show worth a watch the rest of the matches were serviceable."
[6.0] "Fun event but nothing special or jaw dropping. The main event was amazing but the other matches were between boring and decent. This has potential to be a fun PPV with some long term booking or storylines involved. Nothing eventful outside of the matches and it was very WWE centric."
[6.0] "TAAA x WWE Worlds Collide 2025 has a high point with El Hijo del Vikingo vs Chad Gable and two that are a disaster with Lola Vice & Stephanie Vaquer vs Chik Tormenta & Dalys and the wrestling where Pagano paid tribute to Jeff Harddy at Victory Road. The rest of the card is correct."
[7.0] "sarahlicity's comment nails it 100%, exactly what I felt viewing the two shows. MITB felt overproduced to the point of having the fun ripped out of the show, while this show feels more at-home and an easier watch. Definitely some fun to be had here, a special kind of presentation, the six-man is the only match that left me lacking,"
[9.0] "The vibes for this show were through the roof. One of the more authentic wrestling shows I have seen in quite some time. A beatiful start to the WWE aaa partnership. We will see if things can remain this good but I have my doubts lol. Awesome show with a bunch of fun matches"
[6.0] "Definitely a huge improvement from the crappy shows AAA put on in the last years. Basically WWE showed that AAA only needed to cut off Konnan and The Roldans from the creative and those few wrestlers they have can actually put on a decent wrestling show. I hope the changes will continue for the Mexican based shows too."
[8.0] "Really fun show with none of the usual bad AAA production to ruin the broadcast. Great to see Mr. Iguana getting over with the fans. Worst match for me was Legado del Fantasma vs Psycho Clown, El Hijo del Dr.Wagner Jr and Pagano. I hate that they changed Psycho Clown's music to some generic crap. A few times Legado del Fantasma were just standing around waiting for dives to the outside. Pagano was in horrible shape and should just do hardcore matches. Main event was really good. If you only have time for one match I highly recommend it."
[8.0] "This show reminded me of the old 2018/2019 NXT UK Takeovers where you got to see the best wrestlers of Europe doing excellent matches with the WWE high quality production and also discovering some talents that you may have missed if you're not following some smaller promotions/indys. I don't watch much of AAA, at least full shows like TripleMania mostly because it fuckin sucks and I barely watch WWE because I find it boring, but this right here I could watch every time! It started great with some fast paced action and cool comedy with Mr. Iguana popping the crowd! The women's tag was not very good unfortunately, as well as the trio with Psycho Clown and Pagano who would have been great in a no DQ style match, huge missed opportunity right here. But the 4 way was worth the watch and the main event a great mix of styles even though Vikingo was not at his best, Chad Gable is legit one of the best in ring wrestler WWE have, some spots and bumps were absolutely incredible, the kind of stuff you'd see on AEW shows or ROH PPVs (Vikingo vs Komander at Supercard of Honor 2023 comes to mind) The 2h30 flew by, I want to see more of cross promotion WWE shows!"
[8.0] "Really good show, gave everyone a taste of Lucha Libre in all it's different forms. Not just the highflying, but the technical and goofy sides too. I think Mr. Iguana is about to get a huge fan base, and no doubt more people are now aware of Vikingo. Hell of a main event which really showed Chad Gable is one of the best around."
[7.0] "Good show with a great opener and main event but the middle portion was pretty whatever. Bad womens match, bland trios match and a four way where you've seen everything before and poor Laredo Kid had to take the fall."
[6.0] "This is a very important show for the upcoming cooperation between the two promotions under one roof. Under no circumstances should AAA be made to feel like the junior partner, even if that is undoubtedly the case. But the situation is handled respectfully, the victories are distributed fairly between the two sides and the show is quite appealing, clearly carried by the last two matches of the evening. Until then, there's only one filler match with the women's tag, so at least you can't deny the show's seriousness. All in all, it's not a waste of time if you watch it. But you should also know what you're getting yourself into when the topic of Lucha Libre is communicated so clearly."
[6.0] "The opening match got things off to a promising start. Unfortunately, the women's match and the second six-man tag failed to keep the momentum going. Whether due to a lack of chemistry, awkward pacing, or just unfocused structure, both bouts ended up feeling like filler rather than spotlight-worthy contests. Thankfully, the final two matches helped salvage the night."
"First of all, it was great to watch an event at an earlier evening time -- and for free, too. Of course, the whole thing was meant as a lure to promote and sell future events, but still, a great service from everyone involved. Most of the matches were really good, and the main event was deservedly the match of the night. It was kind of crazy to see Pagano at a WWE event, considering he's spent the past few years performing for hardcore promotions like GCW and XPW."
[7.0] "This way overdelivered. Given AAA is some of the most bottom-tier lucha and WWE's 2025 PLE quality issue has been widely reported, this was a great show. It sagged in the middle a little bit but was a quick, breezy watch. [Dorado & LWO vs Aero Star/Iguana/Octagon] - 4 stars. [Lola/Vaquer vs Tormenta/Dalys] 2.5 stars (Worst of the Night). [Legado vs Psycho Clown/El Hijo de Wagner Jr/Pagano] - 2.5 stars. [Dragon Lee vs Je'Von Evans vs Ethan Page vs Laredo Kid] - 3.5 stars. [Chad Gable vs Vikingo] - 4.5 stars (Match of the Night, MOTY candidate). Average match rating: 3.4 of 5 stars or 6.8 out of 10. Rounded to 7 for Cagematch."
[8.0] "It's funny; the common narrative is that AAA is a joke of a promotion and Konnan is a joke of a booker, whereas Triple H is a booking savant and WWE is on fire right now. So why, then, does it feel like this show was better than MITB? I guess there's too much pressure on the main roster PLEs from above to have capital-M Moments even if it's at the detriment of a cohesive product, leading to soulless mush, whereas the smaller outfits under the WWE banner, like NXT and now AAA, can just knuckle down and get on with stuff. Some really good matches on this show, including a really fun opener and an incredible main event; see what you get when you just let Gable wrestle without stupid gimmicks? WWE's purchase of AAA may have been cause for concern, but even though the show was a little less pure lucha and way too polished for AAA, it was a welcome response to people who had those concerns."
[6.0] "The show was decent, but it's still just a WWE PLE. It was very polished, bland, and we finally got a few backstage angles, even if they clearly brought nothing to the table. It wasn't a huge show; it felt like an AAA showcase, but clearly done worse. We're a long way from AAA's golden age."
[7.0] "As someone who attended, this was boosted by probably not knowing some of the AAA stars. Some delivered, some didn't. Obvious they weren't working like an AAA match (like seeing people tag in during tag matches? What lol) have a main issue that ruined my experience. You'd think SoFi or The forum (where the event was held at) would let you park there for both events. Nope, you have to move your car by 30 mins after the event or face a fine. I left early as I had tickets to money in the bank and didn't want to be late. I had to rewatch the main event on replay and it made me sad that I missed it. Vikingo and Gable delivered!"
"[8.0]" it was a not bad start it was a not bad start it was a not bad start it was a not bad start it was a not bad start it was a not bad start it was a not bad start it was a not bad start"
[7.0] "I must have suffered a severe brain injury, because I just watched a WWE show with entertaining matches and no DQ or overbooked nonsense finishes! The show was a proper laugh and everyone went for it. Fair play to Chad Gable who took some big hits and now still has to go to work again on the same night. Proper hard man shiz. Other than that, there were some obvious rough spots but that is to be expected. Also, nobody needed that first twenty minutes. I nearly turned off watching them drag out that worthless intro. Nobody needs to see the corporate shills looked bored while the anthems are badly performed. Stick a masked graps man in the ring and put on a banger instead."
"I mean the applause and reaction right at the start of the show when Rey Mysterios music hit, just about summed up the whole event. It was special. Very few things could've ruined this event. We were blessed with good matches throughout aswell. All I want to say is I really hope HBK has more booking responsibilities for AAA going forward , cause this is a special time for Lucha Libre as a whole, HHH can't be trusted. He will kill this hype. Great show, massive applause for Rey which is so well deserved. Special throughout, great crowd, great matches. If this is a sign of things to come I can't wait for the future of this acquisition. 9/10!"
"Really strong event overall. AAA and WWE worked surprisingly well together, and the variety of matches kept things exciting from start to finish. The NXT North American Title match was chaotic in the best way, and the main event between Vikingo and Gable was an excellent showcase of both talent and storytelling. Great pacing, great energy, and a very fun watch. Would definitely be interested in seeing another Worlds Collide show in the future."
"Awesome to see Konnan on commentary. My hopes for this event are not high, will be reviewing in real time. Gable-Vikingo could be a classico. Lillian Garcia's pageantry during this Anthem have to be applauded and then studied. I have no idea how to make of that dramatic ass shit, especially following such a somber version of the Mexican Anthem. Here's Rey Mysterio! Suit on. Oh hell yeah, a promo en Español. I don't understand a word, but I'm glad he gets to do this. Aero Star, Octagon Jr, and Mr. Iguana all teaming here. Big fan of all three of these guys. LWO follow, Cruz del toro and Vince Dorado with Dragon lee. Good shit in this match. This could quite easily serve as a 'babies first Lucha' match, and I mean it as a compliment. What an, honestly, wonderful display of the craft to begin with. The Dorado-Iguana exchange, fantastic. What a great match, and a great win for AAA. 4.75 Stars. Dirty Dom is here on the mic. Octagon jr appears to be getting into a feud with Dom, could be great fun. His inclusion in this show is fantastic. Match made for Money In The Bank! Awesome! Vaquer's star-making run continues in the next match. Great tag affair. Great fun. Can't remember the last time I saw tormenta. 2ish stars, maybe 2.5. Hijo Del Wagner, Proud Sinner, and Psycho Clown were given superstar entrances, was pretty cool to see. Just a ton of fantastic spots. A blast. Psycho Driver on the apron, followed by lots of high flying. Great match. Energy was near a hundred all the way through, and these heels were excellent. Four stars. Je'von Evans, laredo Kid, and Rey Fenix are up against Ethan Page for the NXT North American Title. Great display for Fenix. May be some of his best WWE work yet. Highest highs of any match tonight, but a short affair, Page wins at the end. 3. Now time for me to have my heart attack. Vikingo is the best Kuchadore this century, in my opinion. My favorite wrestler this decade, perhaps. I hope to god he gets to remain the face of it. Let's see. Gable begins this match by slowing it down, very technical sowing for these first few, but is playing well. It all amps up to Vikingo doing Vikingo shit off the top rope, a 630.Yeah, the longer it goes on, the more Vikingo is just shown to be the king of these high-flying spots. This match is damn slow, but, I don't know if I mind. Pace-wise it still clears most of WWE's recent slower matches. Inside Sitout Powerbomb from Gable was excellent. Very much spot after spot, but, hey, they did technical stuff in the beginning. Oh well. The announcers have been overhyping how hot this crowd is though and I hate it. fenix gets the win with a 630. 4 star match. For a huge crossover, this fell short as an event. That said, i rather enjoyed it. Had a good time with each match. I dred the future, but I'm glad so many luchas got their shine. Vikingo winning this main event was good. I dunno, show as a whole was honestly like a seven for me. I liked it."
Insgesamt gebe Ich der gesamten Show, 9 Punkte."
[8.0] "I was really looking forward to this show and it certainly delivered. The opener and the main event were the highlights for me but there were good performances all around. I think that they did a really good job in terms of presentation (except for the generic themes for the AAA guys) and I'm glad that some of the casual fans were introduced to more luchadores and a different style of wrestling in general. Interesting to see how they are trying to slowly integrate some of the guys to the main roster/testing the waters. Nonetheless, I'm still worried of what will happen with AAA under the TKO umbrella in the long run."
[7.0] "This iteration of Worlds Collide won't be as fondly remembered as the 1994 edition with WCW, but it was still a decent presentation with some good matches at the end. Konnan on commentary was a big letdown, trampling over Corey Graves for a lot of the show, and yes there were a few shots fired at their main rivals in Mexico. Think this was mainly a showcase for El Hijo del Vikingo, as most of the AAA roster didn't really stand out too much from each other. I'm more of a CMLL guy when it comes to how I like my Lucha Libre, but this certainly wasn't bad. Let's see how WWE follows up their relationship."
"Ranking down matches for fun: 5) Mr Iguana Team vs LWO: Carried by Mr Iguana. 4) Legado del Fantasma vs Wagner The Third Team: Rare instance of Legado del Fantasma looking cool. 3) Stephanie/Lola vs Tormenta/Dalys: Fun with a surprising amount of intensity. 2) North American Title 4-Way: Non-stop action. 1) Vikingo vs Gable: Also very action-packed with a surprising amount of in-ring psychology. I'm only watching this and skipping money in the bank because it actually had an important main title match and i'm glad i did."
[9.0] "Incredible show - this had something that has been missing in the WWE product in a while - Rather than having a show served to make money overrun with ads etc - it had something unique, it had a unique stage, unique matches etc something we don't get to see much nowadays in the wwe - it was a great showcase for the AAA Talents who surely will have made a few new fans coming out of tonight's show -the main event was one of the best main events in wwe in some time - they need to punch gable more he is a machine"
"An amazing show with both English and Spanish commentary. Loved every second of it. I can see this new era of AAA being taken to new heights under WWE's leadership and ownership. I'm glad Vikingo retained the title against Chad Gable in the end. Would absolutely watch again."
[9.0] "This was absolutely brilliant. The best show that WWE and AAA put on in the entirety of the year. All hits and no misses, I even think that the women's match wasn't bad at all, just lacked more time. Started off great with an insane 6 man tag team match, not just full of moves, but also funny moments, in ring psychology, top notch facial expressions. The women's match, as I said, lakes a little bit more time, but Chik and Dlys aren't the most talented either. The rest was just pure joy, the Legado match is very underrated, very fun match. Chad Gable is world champion material."
[9.0] "Brilliant show from start to finish with only one weak match and even that was still entertaining. The main event stole the show and it was a great way to end an amazing show. The history packages were brilliant and the production of the show was crisp and cool and the set up with the fans so close made thing feel a little more dangerous. Hopefully we'll see more of these crossovers in the future and maybe some of the AAA guys getting to appear on WWE tv and vice versa. It was also good hearing Cory commenting at a big event again he really sold the matches and he and konnan did well explaining the history and rivalries of the various competitors without it sounding like a lecture."
[8.0] "This was the type of show WWE should be doing with other promotions: an annual thing with all different promotions. The matches were incredible, and you got to see a different style of wrestling than you would normally get on a normal WWE card. Both WWE and AAA had their momentum and showcasing with their stars, and it made for a very entertaining show. It is nice to see different names and gimmicks being shown and already becoming popular from a quick match, e.g., Mr Iguana and Psycho Clown. I would love another World Collide maybe with AAA again or even NJPW."
"Oh my god, a WWE show in 2025 with actual wrestling and without BS finishes. Pinch me, I must be dreaming. If we get more of this and less of Wrestlemania, then I can tolerate this company again."
[10.0] "I didn't really expect much from this show. I was curious but I looked at the odd hodge podge of a card and wondered how it'd end up coming across. Well, it was an absolute blast. Shawn Michaels, Marisela, Triple H & Blue Demon Jr. standing alongside one another to open the shown was bizarre and amazing. Konnan ended up being a fun curiosity on commentary. Both trios match were a load of fun and the four way was awesome. Stephanie Vaquer is such a star and she sure looked the part on this show. The main event delivered the standout match - excellent battle."
[8.0] "This was a great PPV that exceeded expectations. The WWE x AAA collaboration got off to an incredible start with this PPV. Only one match was a let down but even then it wasn't terrible and the main event tonight is a match of the year contender and one you don't want to miss. This was my first time seeing some of these wrestlers and for the most part I was impressed with nearly everyone and would be interested in seeing them elsewhere. Money in the Bank will have a hard time following this PPV tonight."
[8.0] "This was a great showcase of lucha and WWE put together. Every match was serviceable. The main event with Vikingo and Chad was awesome! Everyone on the show did their thing and at the end of the day it was simply a fun show. Hopefully this helps all lucha fans and helps AAA get exposure as we move forward. I hope Vikingo gets more WWE time. Loved the story of the women's tag match. Stephanie is a star with a rocket ship on her back. Legado got a nice win. Wish we got to see more of Santos. Overall I thought it was a great show."
"[9/10] Hot Damn! I was expecting a SNME level show, and this was a proper introduction to Lucha bangers. The card felt perfectly balanced, and while it will go down in history as a one match show, god damn was Vikingo v Gable a match of the year candidate. MITB has really high expectations going into tonight; regardless of if it keeps up with the precedent set, World's Collide could usher in a new generation of the NXT black & gold era."
[8.0] "Man, I had low expectations for this show, but this turned out to be one hell of a PPV. I mean, this was great. The opening 6 maan was amazing with fun ny moments from Mr. Iguana, the women's tag was the weakest match on the card, the other 6 man tag was solid, the 4 way was a fast paced match, and that main event was something amazing. Chad Gable and Vikingo put on an incredible main event, I mean, non-stop action"
"Will be very curious to see this. I am always left disappointed by WWE's attempt to push the promotions they buy, which is usually none. Unless they promote the AAA World championship as something of repute the entire thing is not gonna work at the scale a lot of fans maybe expect. If they intend to just keep it as a mexican indy, which doesnt make sense, then I will not really be following."
