[8.0] "I think it was a good enough event especially for the G1 matches that matters most in the card.YOSHI-HASHI vs ZSJ was the best match of the evenning and it was great with YOSHI-HASHI showing his heart, soul and fighting spirit despite the loss.Takagi vs Moloney was very good match.Moloney in this G1 showed again how much his improved and the transition from Junior to Heavyweight is really very good."
[6.0] "Unfortunately, every HoT match from the tags to the main-event was pretty terrible; luckly the first two tournament matches were great though. **3/4"
[7.0] "Better than the disappointing last night of Block A action but that being said, a pretty disappointing double main-event: GOK and Umino don't have great chemistry and there's too much House of Torture BS. But I really enjoyed both Shingo/Drilla and YOSHI/ZSJ, and the main events weren't bad, so a pretty generous rating."
[6.0] "This was an alright last night of block action, but much better then Block A's final block night. Shingo vs Moloney (***.75): Good slugfest, just as good as their previous matches but doesn't surpass them. Both of these guys are fun to watch and they mesh pretty nicely. ZSJ vs Yoshi (****.75): You know what, this is one of the best matches in the entire tournament. The way every fan was rooting for Yoshi-Hashi to pull out the upset, which he nearly did on multiple occasions. They meshed well, the submission spots were incredibly well done and this was an awesomely story told match that, if it had gotten more time, could've been an amazing match. Umino vs O-Khan (**.75): The one time I wanted O-Khan to win, he gets beaten by Umino. Very lackluster match that felt slow and boring to me except for the finishing stretch, but the ending kinda felt a little sudden. Other then that it wasn't anything worth watching (and fuck NJPW for putting Umino over Shingo). Takeshita vs Narita (***.75): You know what, this was a fun H.O.T match. Narita and Takeshita mixed it well with having good in ring wrestling and the run-ins were done well. I loved the spot where all the Young Lions took Fale and Togo out. Smartest H.O.T match in a while. Takeshita winning was 100% the right move."
[6.0] "Not the best night with the last two matches not being good at all and ruining the fantastic performances by ZSJ, YOSHI-HASHI, Drilla and Shingo who had the two banger matches"
[6.0] "Better than the final day of Block A, but a definite sense of predictability in the results given there was really only two paths to book each match having significance (which they took the Takeshita one, of course). Would be a 5, if not for the magnificent Zack/Tacos match, which drags it up to a 6 through sheer force of will."
[5.0] "Not much of interest in the tag matches aside from the Young Lions' exhibition. The first two G1 matches were good, but the last two were rather mediocre, which also raises the question of the match order. Nothing to report outside of the matches, except for the expected interference from the HOT, which was more or less effective. In-ring quality: 2.5/5. Angles and non-match segments: 0.25/3. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 4.75/10. Show seen on NJPW World."
[6.0] "A better final night of block action than its predecessor, but advancement drama leading to House of Torture main eventing the show instead of one of the champ's best matches of the tournament (with a much better, and much "realer, " story surrounding the Goto injury than the HoT "match story" of "here's three extra guys and 10 interference spots, and you can tell based on whether they start or end the match if the babyface is gonna win") really hurts it to watch all at once. As for the other bits of business, everyone worked very hard, especially Drilla Moloney. Shota Umino didn't flunk, but won't win over any converts with his performance here."
