[7.0] "This episode felt more like a fill-up for the upcoming week, where nothing extremely notable happened, except for the opening segment and the main event. Aminata was put together in another "eliminator" scenario, which she has excelled in for a long time, while the shady treatment of ROH as a brand continues with suddenly crafted title matches that leave a lot to be desired. Otherwise, the squashes helped certain stars to propel themselves, even though the journey is fairly long."
[7.0] "A bit of a change from previous weeks, and probably not for the best. The matches that got the time were actually pretty good, but the alternating of squashes and longer matches just felt weird more than anything. Still, I can't hate a card that gives us that Toni vs. Amanita match, or FTR vs. The Paragon, too much."
"1) Interesting fact: Swerve Stricklamd, who was supposed to open the show with a promo, didn't utter a word last night. 2) Top Flight vs Cru match was awesome! As the main event was. It has been a great couple of days for fans of Tag Team wrestling. 3) Speaking of the main event. Isn't it great when we have a good old twenty-minute wrestling match in the main event of Collision, and not a women's match? 4) What has AR Fox done wrong again? Why did he, out of all people, get squashed? And why, out of all people, was Rush the one who squashed him. 5) More of Trent Baretta on my television, please."
[6.0] "Uninspired Collision. The opener segment and the main event, straight up from B&G NXT, were pretty nice, everything else was just there. A bit dissapointed about the Toni vs Aminata and Bandido vs Dralístico, I think both matches could be a lot better and they had the time for it. Cru vs Top Flight was fun but is getting repetitive, if the story is going nowhere I would rather new matchups. Three squashes (I'm forgiving Swerve vs Blake) are a lot. In resume: nothing really bad but nothing really good besides the main event. Skippable."
[8.0] "Swerve opens up with a win over Blake Christian, who Christian had one of the best tope's I have ever seen. Love Toni Storm, and her successful title defense over the Queen. Cru with an exciting win over Top Flight, with some great spots. Anna Jay is back with a squash win. Bandido successfully defends the ROH strap against Dralistico in an entertaining match. Rush squashed AR Fox. We get some backstage heat between Trent/Rocky and the Outrunners, as well as the Learning Tree challenging GOA. Finally in the main event FTR works over Roddy & KOR."
[4.0] "A very subpar Collision aside from the great Toni/Aminata match and the very good main event which was a rematch. Other undercard matches have been a complete disappointment and the opening segment was repetitive and boring. Bucks have been gone for nearly half a year and yet they're still stale as ever and the cherry on top, they're attempting to bring back Jeff Jarrett (again) and still trying to make him a thing which isn't that surprising considering how out of touch they are with the fanbase and the product."
[8.0] "I enjoyed the match between Timeless Toni and Queen Aminata. It was good to see Anna Jay return. But I really loved what Penelope & Megan did to her afterwards! They are perfect together."
[7.0] "Good little Collision mostly carried by the main event with another great FTR vs Roderick Strong & Kyle O'Reilly, this time with full heel FTR. Toni Storm had a good match with Queen Aminata too, who needs a push as soon as possible. ROH championship even if it was not always smooth and fluid, it was still a good performance from Dralistico and the champ Bandido. Young Bucks booking a match for Swerve Strickland and attacking him after, then Omega makes the save, that segment was worthy of a weekly, AEW should do more of that with the main stars even when the show is taped. Some things I didn't liked or cared in this episode : Cru vs Top Flight was disappointing for a feud that is going on for months, I don't know why they wet for that weak style no DQ match... Jeff Jarrett's stable, Trent & Rocky Romero, Anna Jay/Megan Bayne program, Big Bill & Bryan Keith all were uninteresting."
[6.0] "A completely forgettable show, but with some good matches. Toni vs. Aminata (***), CRU vs. Top Flight (***1/2), Bandido vs. Dralistico (***3/4) and FTR vs. Paragon (stupid name) (***1/2) were good TV matches and the rest are squashes and expendable segments"
[4.0] "The main event on this wasn't bad but it was a slow-burn kind of match, which made it a little harder than it should have been to endure thanks to the rest of the card being boring. I was pretty much done the moment Cru came out and it was announced they'd be going against Top Flight again. You don't need to see any part of this."
"A bit of a pedestrian episode. It wasn't bad but entirely predictable and with the exception of the main event lacked the quality of in-ring action which we've come to expect from Collision."
"6/10. Some bad matches, some good matches, it was an enjoyable episode. Collision surely isn't doing good episodes since a while, hope it gets better"
"This episode was one of the most boring Collision episodes yet. Most of the matches weren't compelling and didn't seem to deliver any movement to the respective storylines. I personally love Swerve and didn't feel that going up against Blake Christianson was worthy of his time. They are not on the same level. Storm and Aminata's match was entertaining and the only match of the night worth really watching. Jay being on the show tonight was a nice surprise, albeit, short. With that said, Penelope's attack on her after the match was much more compelling than the match itself. Bayne coming out after was a terrible look for her and her storyline. She took entirely too long getting to the ring just to throw Jay's face into the mat. It felt forced and gross, not going over the way I think it was intended to. The main event between FTR and Paragon was honestly a weak booking. The match itself was boring and felt more mid-card than anything else. All in all, this show is worth about a 4 rating - not your best AEW."
[6.0] "Swerve Strickland vs Blake Christian: Not a good match, it was shortly timed and not much action, Strickland is worthy of being in the ring with someone more elite than Christian [*1/4]. Toni Storm vs Queen Aminata: Aminata had an okay showing, wouldn't quite say that she had a star making showing, Storm winning was obvious, the match was okay but wouldn't say it is a must watch [**1/4]. Hologram vs Max Caster: Another loss for Caster who is being made to look weak in AEW, Hologram winning was the right decision [*]. Action Andretti & Lio Rush vs Dante Martin & Darius Martin: A solid of a match as it could have been, both teams had a decent level of chemistry and it showed with some good tag team wrestling and some good sequences, some weapons uses but it worked well in this match [***]. Anna Jay vs Taylor Gainey: A squash match that was pointless, only to get Jay on the show [DUD]. Bandido vs Dralistico: With this being the first title defense in this reign for Bandido, it was a solid one, there were a couple of botches but apart from that it was on the level it needed to be for weekly TV [***1/4]. Rush vs AR Fox: A match that only went under 4 minutes that needed to be longer as they have the capability to have a good match as they have that connection to be able to, it was rushed which is not good [*3/4]. Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood vs Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong: FTR had the advantage by isolation KOR and targeting the knee of Strong, this was a decent tag team main event where both teams had a great showing and FTR looked like a machine against the faces [****]"
"There was some good wrestling on this show but it really didn't have anything to grip me. Max Caster was the highlight with Toni Storm also doing well. The problem with the show was after so much of it I was left thinking 'so what? '."
[5.0] "How many times do we need to see various factions running out as the heels run away segments? We got that twice here following it happening on Dynamite too. The only highlight of this show was the Rush squash. Lord knows why we need to see Ford and Anna Jay run it back, the women's division has long moved past both of those. Announcing that Omega and Okada would finally be in a ring together via a match graphic feels like such an opportunity missed. Omega couldn't have cut a promo setting it all up?"
[6.0] "It was a fun time, two good matches between Toni/Queen and FTR/Paragon but not much else in-ring wise. Fun opening angle and a strong promo from Samoa Joe. Welcome return for Hologram and a decent little match between CRU and Top Flight. Nothing out of this world on this show but never felt bored and there was just enough advancement angles wise and match quality wise to keep things ticking over. Felt more like a setup show than anything else, still solid."
[6.0] "A one match show. The main event was great, but the rest of the show just like total filler. Nothing bad, just not too interesting. The opening angle was alright. Blake Christian should've gotten less offense on Swerve but it's fine. TEAM TNA (Lethal and Jarrett and their crew) returned... who cares. Toni vs. Aminata was good, one of the highlights of the show. Hologram returned and squashed Max Caster. Cru vs. Top Flight was fine. A bit let down by this one, I was expecting more. Anna Jay also returned and won her match. She was attacked by Megan Bayne in the post-match. Bandido vs. Dralistico was alright. A bit too many botches. FTR vs. Paragon was the best match of the night, and the highlight reel of the show. Just great tag team wrestling all around. Heel FTR are simply amazing at whatever they do. Closing angle with Garcia and Cole allying was really good too. Overall: nothing was really bad, but rather skippable outside of the great main event match."
